We Are Being Forced To Plant In 2025
Transcript
00:00I know this might sound crazy, but this year we're being forced to plant a crop into the ground.
00:06If we don't, we're going to lose so much money. Before we can actually get out into the field,
00:13we need to make some additions, some changes to my brand new surprise tractor.
00:18Being hooked up to a planter is the most noble job that a tractor can do because this is one
00:23of the most important times of our year. We have to get this job done right so that every other
00:29job throughout the year can get done.
00:49Now we have to hook up all of the hydraulics. It takes a lot to run this thing.
00:53Hydraulics are a true modern marvel. Before we had hydraulic power,
01:01all of this was controlled with chains and gears. Now we can do it all from the comfort of the cab.
01:10You missed one.
01:11Now it's done. Hey, I never said I could do this all by myself. We're a team here.
01:24We've done a full look over and work through of the planter this winter in the shop. And while
01:30we're working on it, the main problem that we found was these broken tubes right here. And this is how
01:36the seeds actually get from the tank into the planter units. So this was a big problem. We got
01:42these replaced and now we are ready to put our tanks on. We had to take our mud flaps off and put
01:50mounts on it. Now we need to install the big mounts and then actually put the tanks on. Usually we would
01:57use the forklift to lift this up. But somebody's garage project has been sitting in the exact same
02:06spot for months now. We've been too busy farming. And we cannot get the forklift or the skid steer
02:14in this space. So until we either get this old Jeep to move
02:20and run or move the tractor, which we can't because it's hooked up to the planter, we're left to our own
02:29manpower. Ready? Rotate. Rotate. All right, let's not scratch the paint.
02:50Okay. Okay. Ready? I'm ready. Oh my goodness.
02:54Got it? Yep. Keep going.
03:05That wasn't so bad at all.
03:09We don't need a forklift. I guess we don't need a forklift, but I might need to stretch my back out.
03:16This is a workout for the morning. Side number one. Done.
03:21It's a good thing I'm strong.
03:24Oh, no.
03:30Are you okay? I lost the load there. Don't give yourself a hernia.
03:38Okay.
03:42Okay.
03:48All right, sit there.
03:48I'm going to grab my back.
03:54Ready? Yep.
04:02Now ready?
04:03Yeah.
04:08All right?
04:09Is it in?
04:10Yep.
04:12Okay.
04:13Ready?
04:14Down a little bit.
04:23Withered around.
04:28There we go.
04:28All right.
04:40All right.
04:40All right.
04:42Zip it.
04:44That's good enough.
04:46All right.
04:46Now time to put the tanks on.
04:51Now that I didn't even look.
04:53Farm life is unpredictable, from ever-changing markets, to weather, to untimely breakdowns.
04:59But at the end of the day, you deserve one thing to be certain. A home that feels like a home.
05:05That's what Chief Bonneville homes are all about. Thoughtfully built, beautifully designed, and

05:39much to Chief Bonneville for sponsoring today's video. They're working hard to provide comfortable,
05:44quality housing with purpose for people, and I am so honored to be working with them. They help
05:50support my work here on the farm and my channel, so any support you can show them is greatly appreciated.
05:57Now, back to work.
05:59Planter is hooked up and our tank mounting brackets are in place, so it's time to actually put the tanks
06:05on. Pepper is not a lot of physical help, but she does provide a lot of mental and emotional support
06:11for us. She's always watching, somehow, underfoot. A lady once told me that she was going, her cause of
06:18death was going to be tripping over a cat, and I didn't believe her. I thought it was kind of silly. I
06:24didn't have a cat, and now for all the Pepper snuggles that I get, she might be the death of me
06:30because she is always laying on my feet. She seems pretty comfy though.
06:35If Pepper's not careful, her cause of death is going to be a tractor tripping over her.
06:41She's got to watch out.
06:42She's going to have to be very careful.
06:46A simple way to keep Pepper out from underneath the tractor is to keep her in the tractor with me.
06:53I don't think that's quite what I meant.
06:55Yeah. There's even a seat for her. See? She gets really comfy right here. That's perfect. That's
07:04leather. That's an upgrade from your last seat. Last seat is fabric. It's leather. It's nice.
07:09Yeah. You stay over there. All right. Ready? Gonna turn on.
07:25If you've been watching the channel for a while, you know that we pulled this forklift out of the
07:44back of an old farmer's shed, and we haven't used it a ton, but it worked perfectly for jobs like this.
07:53Right around the shop, lifting things that are a bit too heavy for us.
07:58We paid a thousand bucks for this thing, and it's got a flathead six-cylinder engine in it,
08:03and I think it rated for like 8,000 pounds. It's a massive forklift.
08:08Definitely enough to lift those tanks. Will it start?
08:11That is the question. Now, while we paid only a thousand dollars for it,
08:15there are some small issues. Once it starts, it lifts things very well, but the issue is getting it
08:24started. I did refill its propane tank for its yearly refill. I only have to refill it once a year.
08:30How nice. But, oh, we got clicks. And nothing. Just like I predicted.
08:44Battery Bandit strikes again. The Battery Bandit.
08:47That jump pack gets more use than probably anything else in our shop.
08:59What this thing really needs is a proper battery and a battery shutoff switch.
09:04There's some sort of draw somewhere. I don't know where it's at.
09:20There's some sort of water.
09:21There's some sort of water.
09:22There's some water.
09:31You want to wipe these forks for me?
09:33You bet.
09:40Do you open the glass and go?
09:42Yeah.
09:50So, let's go.
10:20Did you guys know that we sell t-shirts that say Laura Farms?
10:50We happen to think they're pretty cool.
10:52If you would like to support us as we go into planting season, the most important time of the year, it would mean the world to us.
11:00You can find these in the link in the description or just go to BunkerBranding.com or you can go to LauraFarms.com.
11:07You can see these. We've got brown ones, black ones, ones with stuff on the front, ones with stuff on the back.
11:13You can show your support. It would mean a lot.
11:16First up is getting the pickup hooked up to the seed tender.
11:19It's probably going to stay hooked up for the next couple months.
11:25It's 64 degrees outside and sunny with no wind.
11:31This is probably my favorite weather of all time.
11:36I am cheating just a little bit because I have a backup camera here in the cab.
11:41But it's so helpful, especially when you're alone.
11:52It's a little bit off to the side.
11:53This thing is heavy.
11:57Yeah, it's pretty hefty.
11:59Ooh!
12:00I'll bump it back a little bit.
12:02Back just a smidge.
12:06What are you laughing at?
12:08Hmm?
12:08It seems like the pickup continues to move just a little bit after you put it in park.
12:20Whether you've been going forward or reverse, they put it in park, but then the pickup still rolls a little bit.
12:25I don't know what's with that.
12:26Always hook up your chains and cross them.
12:30Learned that lesson hard, right?
12:33We have?
12:34I have.
12:35This is the nicest seed tender on the market.
12:42It's an unreferred 2755 XL.
12:46There's a divider in the middle so you can put two types of seeds on either side.
12:51There's this huge auger, great tires, a motor that stays on it, an automatic talc dispenser, which is going to come in handy later.
13:01This thing is just so top of the line.
13:04So thank you so much to unreferred for bringing this out for us for the season.
13:08This is our second year with it, and we are absolutely in love.
13:13Matches the building so nice.
13:15And honestly, hooked up to the pickup, that's a good-looking rig right there.
13:20There's lights everywhere, and everything can be controlled with a remote control.
13:25We are really living in the 21st century with this thing.
13:28There's a scale that's kept in this nice protective box.
13:33And Grant's got the remote.
13:34Do we need new batteries in it, or how's it looking?
13:36No, it's good.
13:36It's good.
13:37Ready for the year.
13:43We're cleaning out, making sure there's no bird's nest in this thing.
13:50Oh, my.
13:52Oh, you're fucked up.
13:53Gross.
13:54Gross.
13:54We're running the auger, because look what came out.
14:01That's disgusting.
14:04Oh, it kind of looks like a dried-up mouse.
14:08We would not want that going in the planter.
14:11Now that that's out of the way, we can go fill it up with seed.
14:19This pickup is equipped with exhaust braking.
14:22I usually have it on when I pull a trailer, and as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator,
14:27it starts using the exhaust brake.
14:29Saves wear and tear on my brakes, which is really nice, especially when I'm hauling heavy loads.
14:33It's time to get all loaded up.
14:37Look at that.
14:41It's all there is to it.
14:44It beats climbing up there, doesn't it?
14:45Oh, yeah.
14:46There's a nice forklift.
14:47Grant's pretty impressed with his forklift here.
14:50This is nice.
14:52Just stab a box.
14:53I'm really surprised Grant hasn't said anything about the snowmobile that's sitting in the corner.
15:00If you guys are ever wondering why Grant has such a love for snowmobiles,
15:04besides his obvious love for just anything with a motor,
15:07farmers all have snowmobiles like this, just sitting around, waiting to be ridden.
15:14They just don't get that much snow.
15:16Grant usually helps get them fixed up and goes out on little runs.
15:19But today, we're strictly business, getting our seed loaded.
15:26Usually, I have to climb up to the top and shake the boxes and open these up.
15:31But here's this handy little tool.
15:34It just clamps on like that.
15:35It's got a Milwaukee battery.
15:37Grant's got the remote, and it opens the box for you.
15:41That is just slick.
15:42Our pink beans, the first type, have filled up the front hopper.
15:51And now the second type are going in the back hopper.
15:54These big boxes are called pro boxes.
15:58You're going to be seeing a lot of these.
16:00These beans are treated pink as well, but they are a different variety.
16:21There you have it.
16:23We've got our soybeans.
16:25And our boxes go back in their stack.
16:27They fit together just like a puzzle.
16:37That is satisfying right there.
16:43Next step, put seed in these tanks.
16:47Fill the planter up, and then we'll finally be ready to roll.
16:50We use a mixture of talc and graphite powder as a flow lubricant.
16:56It helps the seeds flow through the planter and to the units better.
17:01So if you see this gray stuff, that's what you're seeing.
17:05The pink coating on the outside of the seeds, that's just a protective layer.
17:09Now we're going to use our fancy Unverfurf seed tender.
17:13Ready?
17:15Turn this on.
17:16The sun!
17:42We're open!
17:43Let's go.
18:13I don't know.
18:43That sure is a lot nicer than trying to fill these all up with bags.
18:50We are going to have to do that at some point this season, but for now, boy, that was slick.
18:55We're all full.
18:56This talc makes you look like you have gray hair.
19:00Hey.
19:01Really?
19:02Oh, gross.
19:04I'm going to need a shower after that for sure.
19:10This seed tender has this awesome little holder thing, so it automatically dispenses it as
19:16it's coming out.
19:17It's pretty cool.
19:19Got a little hydraulic motor and a little tube that spits it right in.
19:26The time has finally come.
19:28The day is here.
19:29The first day of planting.
19:31The planter is hooked up, full of seed, and everything's been gone through.
19:36The tractor is all ready to go.
19:39The last thing to do is actually just get out in the field and plant.
19:45This is something that we've been pretty nervous for, but the time of doing stuff in the shop
19:51is over.
19:52We just need to get out there and put some seeds in the ground.
19:55It's a good thing I'm skinny.
20:00The last oil check, this tractor is pretty new and just had an oil change, so everything
20:06should be fine, but just want to check, just in case, and look at that, right on the check
20:13mark to make it nice and easy for us.
20:16And into the cab we go.
20:17Watch your head.
20:18Don't hit it on this.
20:19That was a bad way to start the day.
20:21I'll put the buddy seat up for you.
20:30You can ride right here.
20:35While it started, that's a good first sign.
20:41Now we just wait for everything to load up for the tractor to warm up.
20:51I have so much seed in these tanks behind me.
20:56Everything just feels heavy.
20:57Luckily, this tractor can handle just about anything.
21:01It is an absolutely gorgeous morning.
21:04No wind, the sun is shining, and we've really just been waiting for the ground temperature
21:11to reach a little over 50 degrees so that the seeds, when we plant them, they can begin
21:17to germinate.
21:18Pretty soon we'll be starting watering, too.
21:20Pretty soon it'll be starting watering, too.
21:27Failed to load rows one through 16.
21:57I think we have some bugs and kinks we need to work out before we start actually planting, unfortunately.
22:04I wish it was as easy as just hopping in and going, but we're going to be in and out of the cab quite a lot today getting this all set up.
22:16There we go. All of our meters loaded.
22:19That means seed has gone from the tanks to every row.
22:24Auto steer is engaged.
22:27Now, let's set the planter down.
22:35Okay.
22:37Look at that.
22:40Green.
22:41Here's our prescription.
22:48And we are planting.
22:52Starting out pretty slow.
22:54About four miles an hour.
22:58But here we go.
23:01It's official, guys.
23:02The 2025 crop is going in the ground.
23:05We have our prescription set to plant higher population in the green and then lower population on the dry land corners here where this swing pivot doesn't hit.
23:17I like planting.
23:18I like planting.
23:20Don't get me wrong.
23:23There's a lot of anticipation that leads up to planting.
23:27And this is probably the most high-stress time of the year.
23:34Planting is a lot more satisfying because you can see a direct result of what you're doing.
23:41This, everything is just under the ground.
23:45So there's a lot of trust going on that all of the work and money that we put into these machines was done correctly and that we're doing the right thing.
23:58I'm just nervous.
24:02I don't know about you guys.
24:04If you ever are looking for something or someone to pray for or pray about, if you could pray for us here on the farm and our crops, that they would come up and grow and that the weather would be good and that the markets would be good.
24:21Because we need all the help we can get, honestly.
24:25There's a lot of faith that goes into farming.
24:28So, I feel like I'm shaking right now.
24:34I'm glad I have a buddy seat for you guys to ride in.
24:37I'm sorry.
24:37It's not as cushy as my seat.
24:40I'm going to be honest with you guys.
24:43I've got a heated seat.
24:44And I was a little chilly rolling out of bed this morning.
24:47So, your seat is a little not as comfy as mine.
24:52But at least you're in here with me.
24:54We can hang out.
24:55It makes me feel like I'm not so alone.
24:57I do have Grant.
24:58He's going to be driving.
24:59I'm going to stop here.
25:00And we're going to get out and check and see if we've actually been planting anything this whole time.
25:07The monitors say we are.
25:08But you can't trust computers, okay?
25:11You have to go out and manually check.
25:13Handy.
25:14Watch your head.
25:18All right.
25:22This is the moment of truth.
25:25Were we actually planting that whole time?
25:29You got your seed digger, Grant?
25:31You were planting.
25:32I already checked.
25:32Really?
25:33Yeah.
25:33Do things look okay?
25:34Oh, yeah.
25:35Do one row I checked anyway.
25:37All right.
25:38Oh, we got these.
25:40It's so nice that they're bright and pink.
25:42They stick out in the dirt.
25:44All right.
25:45Here's how you check behind a planter.
25:47So, we're going to pick a row.
25:48Not the row that our helpful assistant is checking in.
25:52Let's go number 12.
25:54So, you kneel down in the dirt.
25:56You can see where your closing wheels have gone.
25:59And so, you just scatter this first layer.
26:01Oh, look at this.
26:02There's already a beaner.
26:04You scatter this first layer.
26:07And you find where your Truvies have been.
26:10And you just start slowly digging.
26:13There we go.
26:15So far, we've found two.
26:17Ooh, we're planting anywhere from 135 to 142,000 seeds per acre.
26:27Here we go.
26:28Look at them.
26:30Look at the beans sitting in there.
26:33Oh, Grant, I found a worm.
26:36There's lots of worms over here.
26:39That is such a good sign.
26:41Healthy soil.
26:43Look at all these little pink beans growing up big and strong.
26:47Hopefully, it's a good crop.
26:49Oh, yeah.
26:49They're right where they're supposed to be.
26:51Right where they're supposed to be.
26:53Cover them up.
26:57Pack them in.
26:59I think it's looking really good.
27:00Wow.
27:01How's the tractor running?
27:02The tractor's running great.
27:03It feels so good to actually be in it and doing a job.
27:06Yeah.
27:07Thank you for my present.
27:09Oh, yeah.
27:09I really, really like it.
27:11You did a nice job.
27:12You're welcome.
27:13It's so comfy in there.
27:15Does it look good from the outside?
27:16It does look nice.
27:18Like the, uh, well, so the planter is actually from 2008.
27:22Things are getting kind of old.
27:24Next thing might be a new planter.
27:25A new planter?
27:27Yeah.
27:27Well, as long as it works through this year, that's what I care about.
27:30We're going to have to run that planter for a long time.
27:32Do you remember when we bought that?
27:33Oh, my goodness.
27:34All the way, we had to go through the McDonald's drive-thru to go pick it up.
27:38It was like.
27:39Drove it all the way home.
27:40It was like two hours away in a tractor.
27:42That was an all-day ordeal.
27:43That was so fun, though.
27:44Yeah.
27:45I liked it.
27:45We got it on a budget.
27:47If the tractor's the expensive thing, everything else has to be on a budget.
27:50Dad and Grandpa always taught me, anytime you're out checking seeds, just give everything
27:56a look over and make sure that nothing has fallen off.
27:59One time, I made a whole pass, and I turned around, and I saw that one of my gauge wheels
28:10had fallen off.
28:11That's not good.
28:13We need everything that's on the planter.
28:15We want it to stay where it's supposed to be, including these weights right here.
28:20There is enough span from the three-point of the tractor where the planter is hooked up
28:25and this wing that you need extra weights to make sure that the planter actually gets
28:31into the ground.
28:36And look at there.
28:38There's the seeds being dropped in.
28:42You see them?
28:46Incredible design.
28:47Back to it.
29:17Look at that.
29:20Our population is right where it's supposed to be, right in that 140,000 range.
29:27We are planting them on 30-inch rows at just over 4 miles an hour.
29:36We've almost hit 500 hours on our tractor.
29:40Grant's faithful husband will stay back, let me enjoy this fun job, and he'll stay checking
29:49everything behind me, as well as moving pivots so that we can plant under them.
29:56The soil does not wait for good markets.
30:00It just is ready when it's ready.
30:02And so in planting this year's crop, we are choosing to move forward courageously, moving
30:11forward without knowing the outcome at the end of the year, but just choosing to persevere
30:18because that's what every generation before us has had to do.
30:22We are not the first generation that's had to face uncertain times, and I would venture
30:27to say that we have it so much better than anyone who came before us.
30:31They have worked so hard to ensure that we could be sitting in this seat right now doing
30:37what we're doing.
30:39And so that makes planting a really noble and honorable task.
30:45And as admittedly scared as I am to be doing this, I'm doing it for them and their legacy
30:56that they passed on to me, and for the legacy that I hope to pass on someday.
31:04With that being said, I know that it is certainly not just farmers that are facing times of uncertainty,
31:12we will say.
31:13And so just know that you are not alone.
31:17If you're feeling anxious or just kind of nervous about what the future might bring,
31:23you're not alone.
31:25There's a lot of us out there feeling like that.
31:27And I want this to be a place of community where you guys feel like you're not alone.
31:33And I am so honored to be sharing my farming journey with you.
31:39This all started in a tractor cab.
31:43I made a video where I was explaining what all of these screens are, and it took off.
31:50And the support that you guys have shown me and your encouraging comments and prayers and
31:59stories have absolutely changed my life.
32:03So, I would just like to say, if you're new here, thank you so much for watching, and I
32:09hope you stick around.
32:10And if you've been here since the beginning, I appreciate you more than you know.
32:16This tractor is still so new.
32:17I haven't had time to stash any granola bars or Slim Jims or extra snacks around here.
32:23Everything's looking so bare.
32:26I don't even think I have any paper towels in here.
32:29It's just us in a cab, wide open spaces.
32:40And Grant.
32:41You can never forget about Grant.
32:44Grant getting the pivot working for us.
32:48He's so great.
32:50Laura's planting, and I've got to move the pivot.
32:54So, she can get around it.
33:01Getting almost done with this field.
33:03It really takes a team.
33:06I know you really only ever see me and sometimes Grant, but just know there is a lot of people.
33:12The agronomists, the people we buy our seed from, all the people at John Deere who have
33:17helped us get everything up and working, all of the advice and lessons that I've learned
33:23from my parents and Grant has learned from his parents and grandparents over the years
33:28of farming with them.
33:31There's a lot of years of training that have gone into being able to make this possible.
33:37And a lot of debt.
33:42If I'm just being completely transparent, we are in quite a large amount of debt to be
33:50able to farm the way that we're doing.
33:53So, I don't want it to all seem like everything is just sunshine and roses around here.
34:00We really need this crop to perform well for us so we can at least make our land payments,
34:08equipment payments, land rent.
34:13We also prepaid a bunch of stuff.
34:15Oh, man.
34:16Don't have a lot of money right now.
34:18So, hopefully planting goes well.
34:20Right now, the tanks are empty.
34:23That is going to be saved for when we're planting corn.
34:26We're planting soybeans right now.
34:28So, even though they're on, they're not doing anything right now.
34:33The iPad is telling me my field prescription.
34:36This is my auto steer monitor.
34:39This is what's actually controlling the planter.
34:41All those little computers are telling me what's going on.
34:44And this is where I look at my hydraulics and all of my tractor information,
34:48as well as on this screen up here.
34:51Then, there's a couple manual gauges that I can read for my vacuum pressure.
34:55And then, I'm just always scanning behind me because I want to make sure all of my rows look even.
35:01I don't want any of the rows to be darker or lighter than the other ones.
35:05That means something is wrong.
35:08I want to be very careful to not hit the pivot.
35:11That would be a bad day.
35:14I see the neighbor's got his planter out, but he's not out in the field yet.
35:21We beat him out here.
35:23There's always a certain element.
35:25Oh, man, I forgot to hit my auto steer button.
35:28Always a certain element of a race to see who in the neighborhood is going to be the first in the field.
35:34We are not the first, but we're definitely not the last by any means.
35:40It's all friendly competition, though, and just for bragging rights.
35:44At the end of the day, we are all in this together.
35:50There is still such a strong sense of community, especially around us, which I really, really appreciate.
35:56We love our neighbors.
36:02If this view doesn't say springtime, I don't know what does.
36:08This is just great.
36:10It feels so good to just actually be out here, sitting in the cab, all my monitors on and working, chatting with you guys, just rolling.
36:22The weather forecast looks good for the coming days.
36:29I think in about five days, we're supposed to get rain, which would honestly be perfect.
36:35The ground is so dry.
36:39If you dig down, you hit a layer of moisture, and the bean is just sitting right on top of that layer of moisture.
36:47But there's an old saying, I don't know if you call it an old wives' tale or an old farmer's saying, but it just says,
36:55plant in the mud, your crop will be crud.
36:59Plant in the dust, and your beans will bust.
37:02I don't really know where that came from, but we are planting in dust right now, certainly.
37:07But if once we got the crop in the ground, we were able to get a good rain on it, that would be great.
37:15But it's that double-edged sword of rain, but not too much rain, because we don't want our crops to wash away.
37:24We want just a nice trickle, and then that's it.
37:28That's why pivots are so nice, because we can say how much water goes on, and it all gets sprinkled on nice, slowly, and evenly.
37:41I'm curious.
37:42Do you guys like planting or harvest better?
37:46I know which one I like better, and I think you guys could probably guess which one I like better.
37:51But I'm curious, just from a watching standpoint, is planting or harvest more exciting, more fun?
37:58Which do you like?
38:15I've got Grant checking my seed levels here.
38:21I think we might be out.
38:41Hey, Grant, are we out?
38:43No.
38:44All right.
38:45Let's go fill it back up.
38:51First tank's planted.
38:55I was feeling kind of selfish.
38:59Grant said he wanted a turn driving, so I said he could drive the tractor back to the yard,
39:05and then we can take the seed tender, fill the tractor up, and then he can drive it back out to the field,
39:12but then I'll keep planting.
39:13That seems fair, right?
39:14Even though the tractor was a present to me, we're married, and so it's half his, too.
39:23So I figured he at least deserves a little fun.
39:26I'm going to go shut the pivot off.
39:28There is a Bible verse that I really like for planting time, and it's Galatians 6, 9, and it says,
39:45let us not become weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
39:52And if that doesn't sound planting, I don't know what does.
40:15I think it's time to start carrying earplugs around.
40:26I forget how loud those things are.
40:29I do not want tinnitus.
40:31That is probably, I lay in bed thinking about that.
40:35I want to protect my ears.
40:36Guys, no one ever said that farming was a guarantee, and that's not why I do it.
40:44We did not sign up for a job that had a lot of guarantees, so we'll just keep plugging away.
40:50And with that being said, let's go fill the planter up.
40:54I got the seed tender out.
40:57Grant's coming around to fill him up.
41:06Grant's coming around to fill him up.
41:36That was a close one.
41:53We were almost out.
41:58Restocked and ready to go.
42:00We are in for quite a ride this planting season.
42:04We made it out to the next field.
42:07We are full of seed.
42:08The planter is working.
42:10And we've got a long couple of weeks ahead of us.
42:13Hopefully the weather holds out.
42:15Hopefully our machines hold up.
42:17And ground conditions only continue to get better.
42:21We never know what's going to happen here, honestly.
42:24Every single day is an adventure.
42:26And that's why I've got you guys along for the ride with me here in the buddy seat.
42:31Because I wake up every single morning, and I don't know what's going to happen.
42:35I have a semblance of a plan in my head, but things never go according to plan or the way that I think they're going to.
42:43And so that is why it is my privilege to bring you guys along for the ride with me.
42:48We are truly learning and experiencing every day together.
42:52So thank you so much for being here.
42:54I hope you stick around this planting season.
42:56Please comment questions you'd like me to answer, things you want to know about.
43:01And stick around, because we've got a long ways to go.
43:04So thank you for watching, happy planting season, happy spring, and we will see you in the next one.
43:11Bye!
