00:36the famous clash that took place during the night of 6th and 7th May now let's

00:43analyze this IAF claim but before analyzing just remember the three

00:50buzzwords the number is five the Jets are F-16s and this has been the first

00:57official claim after 91 days so let's listen about what IAF chief had to say

01:04and a few F-16s which mostly from I'm talking about fighter aircraft are from

01:12S-400 we have at least five fighters confirmed kills and one large aircraft

01:19which could be either an Lint aircraft or an AWNC aircraft interestingly all these

01:24F-16s were shot down by S-400 system that means that there is no air-to-air kill

01:32scored by IAF as of now although there has been no proof shared by IAF no

01:39technical data shared to the public and no wreckage was found on the Pakistani

01:43side so the very question comes to mind what could be the actual background of

01:50this particular position taken by the Indian Air Force recently one answer

01:55could be the statement made by American President Trump about five jets shot down

02:01the other could be PF claims of five jets and one UAV shot down another answer

02:10could be the mounting pressure of the Indian politicians about the five Indian

02:16Air Force Jets down so it is of no surprise that the Indian Air Force claim is

02:26also about the five jets neither more nor less this is called narrative building

02:34these downing of Pakistani jets has all in a sudden appeared because a heated debate is

02:41going on on the issue and was recently gaining very much coverage in the Indian

02:48media and also in the Indian Parliament

02:51the claims of the Indian government has been strongly opposed by the Indian

03:13opposition the Indian opposition leader mr. Rahul Gandhi said on the floor of the

03:19parliament that IAF has suffered losses due to the Indian government putting

03:25restraint on Indian forces not to engage with the Pakistani military and

03:30resultantly they were badly defeated by the response made by Pakistani forces so

03:38and I guess the leader said Tiger to get a complete freedom to get a full

05:04India lost so many aircrafts but I do agree that we did lose some aircraft and that happened only

05:10because of the constraint given by the political leadership. So one can easily assume that this

05:16IAF statement is to favor the Indian government in the storm that is going on within the Indian

05:23politics about the Indian position over Pakistan. Statement of the IAF chief is basically for domestic

05:31audience. No claim has been shared to the international media by the Indian chief of defense staff.

05:40No claim had been earlier making official press conferences nor there is any evidence shared by

05:48Indian Air Force. Now lastly why F-16? Why not JF-17? Why not no J-10C was shot down? It is because

05:59it's the USA that has recently humiliated India and therefore Indian came out with claiming of downing

06:06a US origin jet. The PL-15 story of Rafal has been in the limelight and also remember in the previous

06:17Abhinandan episode it was F-16 that remained a dream for the Indian Air Force to be shot down. They tried to

06:25build the whole narrative during the 2019 clash around this F-16. Hopefully now you can imagine why IAF is
