00:00I am currently on an island infested with snakes!
00:03But I'm visiting way deadlier places.
00:06Like scaling a mountain covered in ice.
00:09I'm gonna die, let me down, let me down!
00:10Driving a road that has killed thousands of people.
00:13More like seven inches from falling chart depths.
00:15Swimming on a cage with vicious sharks.
00:19And so much more.
00:20All starting in this cage.
00:22In the middle of an African safari where there are lions, cheetahs, hippos, and a dozen other species that could kill us.
00:28Why are we doing this?
00:29Because we're visiting the five deadliest places on earth.
00:31Oh, I see one of them.
00:34Oh my god.
00:35Why are we doing this?
00:36And to make sure the lions actually visit us, I brought a bunch of meat.
00:39Spread them!
00:42And surrounded the cage with it.
00:44Oh man, why are we trying to die?
00:46Well, what actually makes this place so deadly is that when the sun goes down and we lose our sight, the animals do not.
00:53Jimmy, there's two lions.
00:54That sounds...
00:55Is that a raggo?
00:56No, but it's huge.
00:57Oh dude, everything's coming out at night.
00:58But we're surrounded by lions.
00:59They're 20 feet away from us.
01:00Oh my god.
01:01Lions will not stop circling us.
01:02We might actually die this video.
01:03Well, let's see if we do.
01:04Because the next places we'll be visiting in this video will progressively grow more and more deadly than the last.
01:10All leading up to an island riddled with venomous snakes.
01:11And next, we're going to be ice climbing on this massive, deadly, frozen waterfall.
01:32And now, there is no turning back.
01:34One way or another, we are going to climb this massive cliff using these bladed boots and these ice picks.
01:41This might be the scariest thing we ever do.
01:43Wish me luck.
01:44Jimmy, you really expect us to climb this whole thing?
01:46Yeah.
01:47There's no chance.
01:48Truthfully, I wasn't sure if we could pull this off.
01:51But what happened next with Nolan did not make me feel any better.
01:54Oh!
01:55Ow!
01:56No!
01:57Alright guys, guys, stop.
01:58I'm out.
01:59I'm out.
02:00You can't quit.
02:01Watch me.
02:02I flew Nolan chicken down.
02:03That is insane.
02:04Nolan truly left us.
02:05We're really high up right now.
02:06You're almost halfway!
02:07Oh, Jimmy, don't look down.
02:09Oh my god.
02:10It's getting steeper as we go.
02:11Oh, my foot.
02:12I'm losing grip.
02:13Oh, oh, oh.
02:14Did you almost fall?
02:15Yes.
02:16Oh god.
02:17I see the top, Jimmy.
02:18This is the scariest thing I've ever done.
02:23I'm doing this.
02:26I'm going to get to the top.
02:28Show them how steep it's gotten.
02:31We're in too deep.
02:32We're in too deep.
02:33I can't quit.
02:34I got like 10% left.
02:35I'm fighting the urge to cry, man.
02:37Even though I definitely shouldn't have been doing this.
02:39You're almost there, Jim.
02:40I somehow made it all the way to the top of this waterfall.
02:43We made it to the top.
02:44Let's go.
02:45You know what?
02:46No one had the right idea.
02:47But we'll see if he can handle the third place on our list.
02:50All the way in Bolivia, where we'll be driving a road where few make it off alive.
02:54And now we are on the deadliest road on earth.
02:58This drop is literally as tall as a skyscraper.
03:01I am regretting this.
03:02I really am.
03:03Just a joke.
03:04So many people died on this road that they literally shut it down a decade ago.
03:07This road was causing nearly 300 deaths per year.
03:10But I got the government's permission to reopen it just for us.
03:13I really wish they hadn't done that.
03:14Ah, it'll be fine.
03:15I'm not sure that it will.
03:16Whoa, whoa, whoa.
03:17I'm starting to understand why they call it death road.
03:19You're not driving like it's death road, I'll tell you that.
03:21Oh.
03:22Yeah, your life is in my hands.
03:23I don't like when you say, oh.
03:24No, your life is in my hands.
03:26And look, the steering wheel just jerked.
03:27Hands on the wheel, please.
03:28We're like seven inches from falling to our death.
03:31You're getting too close to the end.
03:32Please, please, please, please.
03:33Oh my God, my life is flashing.
03:35It's flashing over and over and over again.
03:38And if you thought that was a close call, we're about to hit the first of the three deadliest
03:43spots on this road.
03:44This is where the road gets very thin.
03:46This is the part you got to be really careful on.
03:48Oh my gosh.
03:49Dude, I mean, the tire is going to go off right up here.
03:51You see that?
03:52Yeah, I see what you're saying.
03:53Oh my God, look how far down that is.
03:55Here, Nolan, can you guide me?
03:56Gladly, I'll get out of the car gladly.
03:57Bro, don't fall, please.
03:58No way.
03:59Look at how steep the drop is.
04:00That's a whole ravine.
04:01There's like a waterfall down.
04:02Yo, help me get through this.
04:03All right.
04:04Dude, this looks crazy.
04:05Look how close we are to the ledge.
04:06Your tire is literally right next to this giant ravine.
04:21That is crazy.
04:22Watch out, it goes down.
04:23It's very slippery.
04:24Keep coming.
04:25No, you're not really good at this little directing thing.
04:28I mean, I feel like I'm just running away from the car at this point.
04:31Not much direction that I can give.
04:32All right, get in the car.
04:33You're useless.
04:34Okay.
04:35You get into it.
04:36I'm about to speed up.
04:37Nolan, you know what might make this ride a little more fun?
04:38What?
04:39Our brand new Feastables Creamy Peanut Butter Cup.
04:41Oh, I thought you were going to say you driving slower.
04:43No.
04:44It's getting so foggy coming up, I can barely see it.
04:47At some parts, the road is actually pretty normal.
04:50But due to extreme elevation change, a sudden blinding fog can roll in as a silent killer.
04:55All right, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop and sit.
04:59Am I good, Nolan?
05:00No.
05:01It actually looks like they're about ready to fall.
05:03It is so close.
05:04Okay.
05:05So, like, right here?
05:06You good?
05:07Just stay as far away.
05:08Ah, what's that noise?
05:09Closer than I prefer.
05:10I thought, why don't we mix things up and come out with our own Feastables cups.
05:15Oh, wow.
05:16You see, the best part about these cups is that we use peanut butter straight from a jar.
05:20And look how jam-packed it is.
05:21These things taste amazing.
05:22Whoa!
05:23Whoa!
05:24Whoa!
05:25Whoa!
05:26And on top of that, we use Feastables chocolate in this, which if you don't know, at Feastables
05:30we pay all our farmers' living wages.
05:32We use fair trade certified beans.
05:33We remediate child labor on our farms.
05:35Oh my gosh, this is very bumpy.
05:36All three of which no big American chocolate company does.
05:39Nolan.
05:40Huh.
05:41It's been like a decade.
05:42Can you go make sure that bridge still works?
05:43All right.
05:44I just really want to make sure if it collapses, you know, I'm not on it.
05:47All right, Nolan, test the bridge.
05:49Am I good?
05:50It's good.
05:51Big chocolate pays farmers so little that they're forced to literally use child labor.
05:55No joke, there's over a million kids in illegal child labor in West Africa just on Cocoa Farms.
05:59So not only should you try the new cup because it tastes phenomenal, but also help me send a message to the chocolate industry.
06:04Pay your farmers a living income and do more to get rid of child labor on your farms.
06:08Ahhh!
06:09This is crazy!
06:10We survived Death Road!
06:11So far, we've survived on the land.
06:13But for this next bonus place, Carl and Nolan are in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by sharks.
06:18And we're getting in the water without a cage for some reason.
06:20Yeah, we usually use this thing, but now we're not going to.
06:23The sharks in these waters are notorious for unprovoked attacks, making this the most dangerous water in the United States.
06:30I can't believe this is happening.
06:31Oh my God.
06:32These are gigantic sharks.
06:33Oh my God.
06:34Dude, why are we doing this without a kid?
06:35Dude, behind you.
06:36Behind you.
06:37Behind you.
06:38Oh my God, that's huge.
06:39Oh!
06:40Don't get in now.
06:41I don't want to.
06:42I don't want to.
06:43Hopefully I don't die.
06:44I don't want to.
06:45I don't want to.
06:46I don't want to.
06:47Hopefully I don't die.
06:48I don't want to die today.
06:49Oh my God.
06:50That thing is so big.
06:51Okay.
06:52Alright, alright.
06:53Carl, the sharks are like twice your size.
06:54I'm good on sharks.
06:55I'm good.
06:56But that was nothing compared to our second most dangerous spot, which just so happens to
07:07be in the middle of the Amazon rainforest.
07:10The beauty of which can only be paralleled by its danger.
07:14Because in a matter of moments, the forest can go from this to this.
07:18Just a little rainstorm can cause the rivers to flash flood and overwhelm the entire area.
07:24And today, we're visiting the Gata Catarax waterfall, where a flash flood could send us down
07:29over 1,000 feet to our watery grave.
07:36And to join me on this cloudy day, what about these guys?
07:39You'll remember Hayes, he spent 70 days in the wilderness, and Bailey spent 100 days trapped
07:43together in a queue.
07:44What we're about to do seems more of his alley.
07:46They said the chance of death is low.
07:48Wait, what?
07:49Come on boys, let's hit it.
07:50And after hours and hours of trekking through some of the most slippery and at times steepest
07:57terrain mankind has ever stepped foot on, we finally made it to our destination.
08:03That's a waterfall right there.
08:05Like if you slip, you're dead.
08:08And with the help of a guide, we were able to cross the river safely.
08:11Hey look!
08:12Whee!
08:13And then we were secured to some ropes so we could look over the edge of the waterfall.
08:18Can you see over?
08:20Wow!
08:21This is so gorgeous!
08:23Aw!
08:24But as I said before, for how beautiful this place is at only a moment's notice, it can
08:30be just as deadly.
08:31And it just started downpouring like crazy.
08:34You know, this is why this is one of the most dangerous places in the world.
08:37This waterfall is now becoming wider and wider, which are creating flash flood conditions.
08:42We're literally getting flooded out of the Amazon right now.
08:45We gotta go.
08:46Should we use the ropes to go down the waterfall?
08:48Seriously?
08:49I don't think so.
08:50That's a really bad idea.
08:51We're gonna be in the woods.
08:52Isn't that just equally as bad?
08:53What's the risk?
08:54There's mud coming down on Jimmy's line.
08:55Like a lot.
08:56At any point, they could be struck by lightning.
08:58And I really don't want you to die.
09:01So, with our YouTube video turned emergency operations, the only way out was through the
09:06same steep and slippery terrain that got us here.
09:09Whoa.
09:10And now, we had to do it while the entire forest was flash flooding.
09:13You can see the flash flooding.
09:14Now the path is locked off.
09:16We're gonna have to rope off multiple parts.
09:18It's gonna take us hours to get off this mountain.
09:20Do you remember when I crossed this river and I was laughing?
09:23Whee!
09:24I'm not laughing anymore.
09:26I'm actually scared.
09:28And if I fall, that's the waterfall.
09:31Right over there.
09:32Look at this water.
09:33Like seriously, no joke.
09:35Grab the rope and pull yourself up.
09:39Don't let me die.
09:40And after hours and hours of trekking through the floods and mud, we walked away from this
09:45mountain with our lives.
09:46Now, we're headed to the most lethal corner of Earth.
09:49The number one spot on our list of the world's most deadliest places.
09:53And what better way to end this video, boys, than the most dangerous island on the planet,
09:58Snake Island!
09:59Why are we going to an island filled with killing machines?
10:01We might die.
10:03Bye-bye!
10:04And we are now officially stranded until tomorrow.
10:06That's right.
10:07We will be spending the night on the most deadly island on Earth.
10:10And with lethal snakes hidden beneath our every step.
10:13These specialized shin guards were our only hope of protection from their venomous bites.
10:18So there could just be snakes anywhere here.
10:20Yeah.
10:21Jimmy, what happens if one of these snakes bites us?
10:23Basically, as soon as the venom enters your body, your skin will start to melt off and you could die within an hour.
10:27Well, it's kind of terrifying to think that I could just die at any second.
10:30This is wild, bro.
10:32You know, for an island full of killing machines, this is actually very pretty.
10:36This is so beautiful from up here.
10:38Man.
10:39If you fall right here, you're dead.
10:40Yes, I see that.
10:41Boys, be careful.
10:42You'd think that with a name like Snake Island, there would be thousands of snakes all over the ground.
10:47But after killing all the ground animals on the island, the snakes now hunt the birds in the trees, the island's only remaining prey.
10:53We are officially entering the jungle.
10:55At any point now, a snake could jump from the tree and bite us.
10:58I was just worried about my legs, but now we've got to be worried about them falling from trees, too.
11:02This is insane, bro.
11:04Oh, oh, oh, there's one right here.
11:05There's one right here, right next to my face.
11:07By capturing the snakes, scientists can extract their venom and create anti-venom with it.
11:13Wait, that's venomous.
11:14Yeah.
11:15So if that bit me, I would die.
11:17Yeah.
11:18Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
11:19Hey, make sure you've got a good grip.
11:21It's a juvenile.
11:22Oh, no.
11:23No.
11:24It's gone.
11:25You dropped it.
11:27Oh, it escaped.
11:28It escaped.
11:29He's as chill about dropping that snake as I am when I drop my phone.
11:33And the further in the jungle we get.
11:35These bushes are too thick.
11:36I can't see two feet in front of me, man.
11:38A snake could pop out any second.
11:40The more snakes we see.
11:42Here and there.
11:44This time, let's not lose them, okay?
11:45Okay.
11:46Scoot back, scoot back.
11:48How many lives will the anti-venom from that snake save?
11:51Thousands of lives.
11:52Oh, that's insane.
11:53The anti-venom they create can be used to treat 90% of all snake bites in Brazil,
11:58meaning every snake we catch could save thousands of lives.
12:02Hey, Jimmy, there's another snake up there.
12:03Whoa, that might be the biggest one so far.
12:05We're finding them all now.
12:06They're coming out.
12:07So, for the rest of the day, we helped find these deadly snakes.
12:11And we even assisted the scientists with their research.
12:14So, that snake is about 15 feet in the air, and the scientists proposed we shake the tree
12:18so we can get it.
12:19There's no way I'm camping under those trees.
12:21That thing ain't moving, dude.
12:22We need that anti-venom.
12:23It can save lives.
12:24At this point, it was getting dark, and we needed to focus on survival.
12:28Time to build camp.
12:30Camp is now set up.
12:31Full disclosure, I have no idea that these tents are snake proof.
12:34Gonna be sleeping among the snakes.
12:36This is scary.
12:37About to go to sleep.
12:39Hopefully, a snake doesn't slither into my tent tonight.
12:42This is terrifying.
12:44I can't wait to be in the safety of my own home.
12:48So, we woke up with one thing on our minds.
12:51Getting off this island as fast as we can.
12:53I just wanna go home.
12:54We avoided death all around the world.
12:55From hanging off the side of a massive ice mountain,
12:58to driving inches away from a thousand-foot drop.
13:01Swimming in shark-infested waters with no cage.
13:04And lastly, we survived Snake Island, and no one died!
13:07Thanks for watching the video.
