00:25I have to cheer him on, too
00:26That man is a champion of the people
00:29Some people
00:29Not all of us
00:31If those sentinels are activated
00:33It's the beginning of the end
00:34That looks to be the case
00:36Then better count me in
00:39Warren, it's your father's facility
00:41He'll see you
00:43Times are changing
00:44I can't let him control who I am
00:46Not anymore
00:47Is everything all right, Mr. Worthington?
00:59That's him, gentlemen
01:21Get the mutant inside
01:23Sniper, do your job
01:25Don't move, don't even breathe
01:42Don't move
01:50Don't even breathe
01:51Are you all right?
02:15Yeah
02:17I suggest you find a place to hide
02:20Leave the city if you must
02:22Understand?
02:23My angel
02:34My angel
02:35Oh my God
02:35Oh my God
02:36No
02:36Oh my God
02:36Oh my God
02:37I'll see you
02:37You're all right
02:38Oh my God
02:38Oh my God
02:39Oh my God
02:40Oh my God
02:40Oh my God
02:40Oh my God
02:40Get away, get away, get away.
03:10Get away, get away, get away, get away.
03:40Get away, get away, get away.
04:10What took you so long?
04:13Sorry, late night.
04:15Oh, yes. So I've been hearing.
04:19You know, we worry about you being so...
04:21Shh.
04:24May I?
04:40Hey, guys. You haven't been waiting long, I hope. I took the scenic route.
04:57Well, understandable.
04:58We called because we got us a problem, Angel.
05:01And what kind of problem?
05:02It's your old man.
05:04You see, there's been some troubling news out of Worthington Pharmaceuticals.
05:08We hear they're only months away from a cure.
05:11For what?
05:12Mutants.
05:14Supposedly it will suppress the X-Gene and return us to the way we were before our powers manifested.
05:20I don't get it.
05:21How can a guy hate mutants so much when his own son is...
05:25That is the problem, Logan.
05:28Having a mutant for a son.
05:31Angel, wait!
05:33We need to discuss our options before we...
05:35No! I'll deal with it, Hank.
05:40Not liking the sound of that.
05:47You leaked the news?
05:49Just take it easy, Warren.
05:51We are a long way from getting that cure on the market.
05:53We don't need this kind of public scrutiny yet.
05:56It's exactly what we need.
05:58To get FDA approval, people have to be clamoring for it.
06:01It's not the people I'm worried about.
06:04What? The mutants?
06:05Who cares?
06:07By the time this is over, they'll all be disarmed.
06:10I wasn't ready, Robert.
06:11You went behind my back.
06:13Don't make this so personal, Warren.
06:16Remember, it's all for the common good.
06:29Now you've gone too far.
06:33I'm sorry.
06:34I didn't want you to find out this way, but listen to me.
06:38It's not enough.
06:39If you use our money to help the MRD hunt down innocent mutants.
06:43Now you want to wipe them out completely with this... this cure?
06:47Wipe them out?
06:49I'm helping them to become normal again.
06:52Don't you want to be normal, Warren?
06:53Not your definition of it.
06:55But all the money, the years of research, it was all for you.
07:01No, it wasn't.
07:03It has always been for you.
07:05I was your shame, your disgrace.
07:08Don't you dare put this on me.
07:10You don't understand, son.
07:13Because you're sick.
07:14This cure...
07:15I don't need a cure.
07:17Because this is not a disease.
07:20I won't let you do it.
07:22Do you hear me?
07:23Yes, Colonel Moss, please.
07:45We got him.
07:46We got him.
08:16We got him.
08:46We got him.
09:16You didn't tell me he was your son.
09:18This could have been avoided if you'd been honest with us.
09:21Just...
09:22Get out of here, Moss.
09:23Mr. Worthington?
09:33Doctor?
09:33I can help him with the broken ribs and the concussion.
09:36But the wings...
09:38What about them?
09:39The injuries are severe.
09:41I'll need to bring in an avian specialist.
09:43No.
09:44No.
09:44Save my son, but...
09:47Not the wings.
09:50Remove them.
09:51No.
09:57No.
09:57No.
09:58No.
09:58What have you done?
10:00What?
10:01What?
10:01What?
10:01What is he?
10:02Get my father in now!
10:04Find him!
10:06Find him!
10:08And he...
10:09I need...
10:10Please, take my advice.
10:12Don't go in there right now.
10:14He'll be okay.
10:15Physically, yes.
10:16But I've had to sedate him.
10:17Mr. Worthington, I suggest you find a good therapist for both of you.
10:39Angel.
10:43Angel.
10:44Poor, poor, poor, fallen angel.
10:52I've heard your cries and have come to help.
10:57Who are you?
10:59Just someone who can restore what's been taken from you.
11:03Tell me your name.
11:05Nathaniel Essex.
11:08Sinister.
11:09So you've heard of me?
11:11Then you know I can do what I promise.
11:15Nurse.
11:17Nurse!
11:18If you want your wings back, you need only ask.
11:37Warren!
11:38How is he?
11:43His injuries are serious.
11:45Angel, all things considered, you shouldn't have left the hospital.
11:49I...
11:49I couldn't stay there.
11:53Not after...
11:54Just tell me.
11:56Will they grow back?
11:58Oh, given time, perhaps.
12:01But...
12:01It's like losing a limb, and...
12:08Warren.
12:09Right now, what's important is that you heal.
12:12Everything else can wait.
12:14She's right.
12:15We'll take care of you here.
12:17Someone came to me.
12:19He said he could give me back my wings.
12:22This magician got a name.
12:25Essex.
12:26Sinister.
12:27Come on, Angel.
12:28You know better than that.
12:30He's bad news.
12:31He knows mutant DNA better than anyone.
12:34That's because he harvested by force in his barbaric attempts to create the perfect mutant.
12:40He's an evil man.
12:42And helping you is the last thing on his mind.
12:46But I can't live like this.
12:48I understand that.
12:50But Sinister is not the answer.
12:52Sinister is not the answer.
13:22Will they...
13:25Will they be the same?
13:28They'll be glorious.
13:30How will you...
13:31Shh.
13:32No more questions.
13:34When you awaken, you'll be a new man.
13:38You'll be a new man.
13:52My Archangel.
14:15Well, could Cerebro locate him?
14:28Yeah.
14:30It seems he's headed to Worthington Pharmaceuticals.
14:34There's something else, isn't there?
14:38It looks like he's been altered.
14:41I think Sinister got a hold of him.
14:45Your family has been torn apart.
14:48Your friends have all turned their backs on you.
14:50You can't even look at yourself in the mirror.
14:52All because of one thing.
14:54The X-Gene.
14:56That tiny mutation that has ruined your life.
14:59But thanks to the dedicated scientists of Worthington Pharmaceuticals,
15:03The Legacy Cure can now reverse the damage.
15:07Yes, we can make you normal again.
15:09Because we care.
15:11Nice.
15:12I like that caring angle.
15:15In the morning, let's grab some footage of me touring your labs there.
15:18Fine.
15:20Now what is it, Warren?
15:22My son is missing, Robert.
15:24But why worry?
15:25You know he'll turn up eventually.
15:27After all, he couldn't have gotten very far.
15:44Hello, Father.
15:45Father.
15:48What is this?
15:56Retribution.
16:06What's happened to you?
16:08You took something from me, Father.
16:11I got it back.
16:12No.
16:13No, this isn't you!
16:15It is now!
16:18Eye for an eye, Father.
16:20What is it you hold here, hmm?
16:22Your empire?
16:24And it's only fitting I take it from you.
16:27Starting with your cure.
16:48Come to say goodbye to your legacy.
17:05Please.
17:06Son, you don't know what you're doing.
17:08My mind has never been so clear.
17:11And next, your Sentinel factories are going down.
17:15You'll get to watch that, too.
17:17Now let's go!
17:18No.
17:18Emergency units and MRD choppers are seven minutes out.
17:28I should go in.
17:43He'll listen to me.
17:44After what Sinister did to him, he won't be listening to anybody.
17:48You're coming with me, one way or another.
18:08Angel, this ain't the way.
18:10What do you know, Wolverine?
18:15Because I've been where you are.
18:18Look at me.
18:19I wasn't born like this.
18:21But you didn't lose anything.
18:23I lost everything.
18:25My past, my memories.
18:28I'll never get them back.
18:29I know.
18:30And if you had the chance, you'd go after the people who did it to you.
18:35That's because I'm a monster, kid.
18:38You're not.
18:39Hurting your father won't help.
18:42Now listen.
18:42I'm through listening!
18:44I'm through listening!
19:00You've always used your wings to help people, not hurt them.
19:09This is all Sinister.
19:22I won't let you do something you'll regret, Angel.
19:25Trust me.
19:27It'll haunt you for the rest of your life.
19:29Don't fight me, Wolverine.
19:31We're on the same side.
19:34I don't know which side you're on, but it ain't mine.
19:38Nor mine.
19:42Get out of my way!
19:44Now!
19:45Warren, please.
19:47This isn't like you.
19:50Storm.
19:52It's over.
19:54Everything's changed.
19:56It can't be like it was before.
19:59Yes, it can.
20:01We can help you.
20:02Just stop what you're doing.
20:07No!
20:07No!
20:08My father has to pay!
20:11Is he all right?
20:31Does he look all right to you?
20:34What?
20:35You think this is my fault?
20:37Someone else did this to him.
20:39Don't kid yourself.
20:41I just wanted what was best for my son.
20:44We don't believe that any more than Warren did.
20:55Can you track him?
20:57No scent.
20:59Sinister made sure of that.
21:00We'll get him back.
21:21I promise.
21:22What do you mean you're out?
21:27The cure is wrong.
21:29The Sentinels are wrong.
21:31I was wrong.
21:32Yeah?
21:33Then so was I.
21:34By trusting that you'd see this through to the end.
21:37The end of what, Robert?
21:39The world?
21:40Because that's where we're heading.
21:41You helped draw the line between us and them.
21:43And it's growing fainter every day.
21:46The damage we caused.
21:48The lives we ruin.
21:50Maybe we're the problem.
21:51You think you can just stop it?
21:53Then you're a fool.
21:55Powerful people are behind us.
21:56It's out of your hands.
21:59Sorry, Warren.
22:00In this war, humanity will win.
22:02Mutants will lose.
22:04And when the dust finally settles,
22:06we'll have you to thank.
