00:00Good afternoon Sheffield, this is Alistair from the Sheffield Star and I'm speaking to you from outside of Sheffield Crown Court where just a moment ago a jury returned a guilty verdict in the murder trial of Harvey Wilgoose, that is a 15 year old boy who has been found guilty of his murder.
00:12Harvey was stabbed to death at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield in February this year and a trial has sort of hung over the entirety of Sheffield all of this year so far.
00:21As the verdict was returned, after 14 and a half hours of deliberation, family members were heard to whisper yes to themselves upstairs in the public gallery.
00:30Several more have simply fallen to quiet sobs as they're inside consoling each other right now and wondering what comes next.
00:37We're likely to see sentencing in October this year where this young man is facing a life sentence and we're awaiting statements from the family in South Yorkshire Place right now.
00:46There's a very large media gathering outside. Breaking news right now, the return of this guilty verdict after 14 and a half hours of deliberation will bring you more updates as they happen.
