00:00Well, look, we know where we've had offenders, particularly for serious domestic violence crimes,
00:07that one of the issues that we've heard from victims is that if that offender is out of prison
00:12and in the community, they feel under threat, they feel incredibly insecure.
00:17And so one of the big calls of this victim has been, can we create zones where people feel protected?
00:22And so this is what we're trying to do by putting places domestic violence zones
00:25that means that if you are a victim, there's an area in which you know that the perpetrator cannot get in within
00:32and that you've got that security that at the moment a lot of victims don't feel that they have.
