But the real life of actor Christopher Lee was more incredible than any movie.
During World War Two, he wasn’t pretending to be a villain. He was fighting them.
He served as an intelligence officer in the Special Operations Executive, a top-secret British unit.
They were nicknamed the "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare."
His missions of espionage and sabotage behind enemy lines are still classified to this day.
After the war, he helped hunt down Nazi war criminals.
He was also a world champion fencer, spoke six languages, and released several heavy metal albums.
A real-life super spy who just happened to be one of the greatest actors of all time.
