00:00All this goes right to my shaft. How did you get here? You told me you parked on the street. Oh my god.
00:12Kicking things off with the first chilling moment of the night, we go back to footage captured by the creators of North by Wild West.
00:19The date, December 25th, 2014.
00:22What started as a simple, light-hearted holiday greeting quickly took a strange and unexpected turn.
00:28While filming indoors, the group was suddenly interrupted by a sharp, echoing noise coming from just beyond the cabin walls.
00:35At first, it seemed like nothing. A branch falling. Maybe a distant animal. But curiosity got the better of them.
00:41With the camera still running, they stepped outside into the cold, snow-dusted landscape to investigate.
00:47That's when they caught a glimpse of it. Something dark and tall, weaving between the trees just past the edge of their property.
00:53Not a person. Not an animal. Just a figure. One that seemed to vanish as quickly as it appeared.
00:59Merry Christmas, everyone!
01:00Merry Christmas!
01:02Look at the tree.
01:06What was that?
01:07Oh my god.
01:08Did you see that?
01:10Something's behind the garage.
01:11Something's behind the garage.
01:11Did you see that?
01:26No, what was it?
01:29It's really big.
01:31Oh my god, do you see it?
01:32Yeah.
01:35Oh my god.
01:40No way.
01:40That can't be.
01:42What the hell?
01:46Oh my god, are you getting this?
01:48I think so.
01:54Oh my god.
01:55Come on, Trevor. Where is it at?
01:57Go get it, bro.
01:58While the family continues celebrating Christmas, their quiet evening is suddenly broken by a loud, unexpected sound from outside.
02:05Without hesitation, they grab the camera and rush out to investigate, recording every step.
02:11Despite the low resolution, understandable given that the footage dates back to 2014, the camera manages to catch something unusual.
02:19Between the bare winter trees, a black figure can be seen moving.
02:23It's shape-shifting just enough to suggest it's not a shadow or trick of the light.
02:27It weaves through the woods with unnatural pacing.
02:30Hard to follow, but clearly there.
02:33The footage may not be perfect, but one thing is certain.
02:36Something was moving out there in the dark.
02:38Oh, oh no.
02:39Oh, here goes Riff.
02:41Oh, here goes Riff.
02:42Stay after him.
02:53Oh, Riff's scared of him.
02:58Riff.
02:58you stay here ref you stay here
03:05i'm gonna get closer
03:12i don't know
03:28i hear something though i still hear it
03:47do you guys hear it
03:58yeah it is
04:14riff come on riff
04:26what the hell is it
04:38i did too
04:50it's gonna come out in the clearing
05:02there it is right over there
05:18oh my god
05:34we gotta get back inside guys
05:38at one point during the chaos
05:40their dog breaks free and bolts straight toward whatever's hiding in the woods
05:44but almost instantly it stops
05:46then retreats with a sharp turn
05:48barking wildly
05:50its body tense tail down clearly spooked
05:52that reaction alone is enough to raise questions
05:54toward the end of the footage
05:56they managed to capture one more glimpse
05:58a tall shadowy silhouette standing among the trees
06:02its size and build resemble that of a classic bigfoot figure
06:06broad towering and unnaturally still
06:08of course some viewers in the comments have claimed it's all a setup
06:12another hoax for views
06:14but honestly it doesn't feel scripted
06:16there's no dramatic music
06:18no choreographed jump scares
06:20just raw footage and real reactions
06:22and when you see the way the dog responds
06:24there's no faking that kind of instinctive fear
06:26to me
06:28this feels like a genuine brush with something unexplained
06:30so now the question turns to you
06:32would you be brave enough to spend a night out there
06:34surrounded by silent trees and shifting shadows
06:36or are you perfectly fine staying bundled up
06:38watching it unfold in the safety of your screen
06:40our next eerie encounter comes from Maddy Van Hall
06:42a content creator best known for documenting his overlanding journeys
06:46van life setups and off-grid camping adventures
06:48his videos typically paint a peaceful picture of the world
06:50that he's been in the world
06:52he's been in the world
06:54he's been in the world
06:56he's been in the world
06:58his videos typically paint a peaceful picture of life
07:00on the road
07:02waking up to mountain sunrises
07:04minimalist living in the serenity of nature
07:06but on the night of March 8th, 2024
07:08that calm was shattered
07:10while camping at a remote site
07:12under a clear star-lit sky
07:14Maddy and a friend were enjoying a quiet evening
07:16when an unexpected visitor arrived
07:18out of nowhere a pickup truck
07:20barreled into their camp, its engine roaring
07:22the driver made no attempt to stop politely
07:24instead he tore through the area
07:26doing donuts
07:28kicking up dirt and gravel
07:30behaving with a bizarre mix of aggression
07:32enforced ignorance
07:34what should have been a restful night
07:36quickly became tense and unpredictable
07:38this guy coming back here in this pickup truck
07:40this guy is a problem
07:42this guy is dangerous
07:44I don't know what his problem is
07:46if he's drunk or high
07:48if you would have saw what he just did
07:50I couldn't grab the camera in time
07:52all the dust
07:54he came right in front of our campsite
07:56started doing donuts
07:58for a good one solid minute
08:00and then drove away
08:02here, there he is
08:06black pickup truck
08:10yeah this guy is up to something
08:12what? he's coming up here
08:14oh man, chocolate man is out there
08:16confronting him, I gotta get out here
08:18and see what's going on
08:20he didn't get out of the van
08:22cause it was too dusty
08:24was that necessary?
08:26there's a lot of people out here
08:28ok, do what you want bro
08:30alright go ahead, do what you want bro
08:32do what you want
08:34do what you want, have a good time
08:36man all you gotta do is just leave
08:38keep moving
08:40just go
08:42catch you later
08:44alright so I thought I had the video going
08:46but all I got was a picture
08:48so he went and got his crew
08:50and they all came back and started swarming us
08:52so bad stuff's about to go down
08:54alright we had to leave
08:56they're acting like they got guns
08:58so I don't want to die
09:00there's a chocolate man in front of me
09:02there's a chocolate man in front of me
09:04Ron and Mark's right behind me
09:08and we found another spot on iOberlander
09:12I know it's loud in here
09:14this road is really watch for it
09:16so we all had to pack up pretty quick and go
09:20the guy came back in another vehicle
09:24so it's at least three of them
09:26I know it's four of us
09:28but we don't have guns
09:30so I don't want to get all shot up
09:34and this is not the first time this has happened
09:38something similar to this happened
09:42where was I?
09:44I can't remember
09:46it was just drunks throwing
09:48oh I know what it was
09:50it was drunks throwing beer bottles
09:52they were a little too close for comfort
09:56but these guys were gangsta acting
10:00so time to move on
10:04it sucks
10:06but if this happens to you
10:10don't feel like you got run off
10:14even though that's going to be your first emotion
10:16just feel like
10:20you had the bigger brain
10:22in the situation
10:24as Matty walks over to confront the driver
10:26hoping to deescalate the situation
10:28things take a sharp turn
10:30rather than backing off or offering an apology
10:32the man becomes more defiant
10:34pulling out his phone and calling for others
10:36within minutes
10:38the sound of more engines fills the night
10:40and additional vehicles begin pulling into the site
10:42the newcomers don't speak much
10:44but their body language says enough
10:46they linger near their trucks
10:48pacing
10:49watching
10:50giving off a silent but unmistakable message
10:52this isn't
10:54your space anymore
10:56some appear to be concealing something under their jackets
10:58and the tension thickens with every second
11:00what had started as a peaceful night in nature
11:02had now become something else entirely
11:04volatile
11:06unpredictable
11:07and potentially dangerous
11:08and you know this is not the hill that i'm going to die on
11:12because i got a great life left to live
11:14and so do you
11:16so this this is probably going to happen
11:20you know
11:22i mean these guys are in their twenties
11:24and we're all in our fifties
11:26and we're all in our fifties
11:28we were sitting around
11:30talking about we're all fifty and over
11:32and uh
11:34we had named our camp the old and busted campsite
11:37because we're all old and busted
11:39and we got way too much sense to be hanging around with three twenty year old gangsters
11:45so
11:47we got another place in mind
11:49it's about twenty minutes away
11:51okay so now we're back on some paved roads
11:54and now it's not so loud
11:56so
11:57um
11:58yeah there's
11:59they kept coming back in different vehicles
12:01and if we would have stayed
12:02here's what would have happened
12:03they would have come back in the middle of the night
12:05and
12:06you know they would have took shots at us
12:08did a drive by
12:09and if it didn't hit our bodies
12:11it would have
12:12you know
12:13busted out the windshield
12:14put holes in the van
12:16that's what would have happened
12:17I mean
12:19I know these things
12:20I know these things
12:21I've been around a long time
12:22I know how these things go down
12:24so
12:25this is wisdom my friends
12:27this is wisdom
12:29let me check on
12:32yeah Ron's back there
12:33Mark's right behind him
12:35this is what wise people do
12:38they don't let
12:41hotheads prevail
12:43it feels like a loss
12:46but it's really a win
12:48choosing safety over conflict
12:50Matty and his group
12:51quickly decided
12:52not to stick around
12:53and see how things might escalate
12:55they quietly packed their gear
12:57loaded into the van
12:58and left the campsite
12:59under the cover of night
13:01later
13:02Matty shared his thoughts
13:03on what could have happened
13:04had they stayed
13:05he firmly believed the group
13:06would have returned
13:07and not just to intimidate
13:08whether it would have been gunshots
13:10fired into the air
13:11at their van
13:12or worse
13:13the threat felt real enough
13:14to take seriously
13:15thankfully
13:16they made it out without harm
13:17but the experience served as a sobering reminder
13:19when you're deep in the wilderness
13:21far from help or cell service
13:23the greatest danger isn't always from wildlife
13:26or the supernatural
13:27up next is a truly unsettling clip from Leviathan
13:31a YouTube channel known for diving deep into the world of the bizarre
13:35from chilling audio anomalies
13:37and strange creatures
13:38to the haunting broadcasts of cryptic number stations
13:41the date is January 11th
13:442020
13:45on this particular night
13:46Leviathan heads out alone to investigate a crumbling
13:49long forgotten barn tucked away in a remote stretch of land
13:53locals had reported hearing disturbing noises echoing
13:56from within the structure
13:58sounds no one could explain
13:59armed with a flashlight
14:00a camera
14:01and a healthy dose of curiosity
14:03Leviathan steps into the darkness
14:05not knowing that what he was about to document
14:08would become
14:09one of the eeriest moments ever featured on his channel
14:12what he was about to assume
14:13he was seen
14:14this virus
14:15that was so giant
14:16that was such a beautiful thing
14:17that was a huge pic
14:18that was missing
14:19the bird's nest
14:21that was so much of a time
14:22or was she becoming a demon
14:23that was a solid fish
14:24of the earth
14:25that was so sophisticated
14:26that can take place
14:27over the moon
14:28and that's not as much of a few people
14:29was set to the left
14:30and that may be a struggle
14:31so it was so āt
14:34that's just to add
14:36to the moon
14:37this is really weird
14:38because he is a bit
14:39that should be interesting
14:40and he is still showing
14:41Oh, my God.
15:11The moment they step through the doorway, the atmosphere shifts violently.
15:20A bone-chilling, rattling howl pierces the air, echoing through the decaying beams of the barn,
15:26followed almost instantly by loud, forceful banging, so intense it seems to shake the structure itself.
15:32Within seconds, things spiral out of control.
15:35Objects inside begin flying through the darkness, hurled with aggression by something invisible.
15:40It's not just chaotic. It feels intentional.
15:44Whatever presence was inside that barn wasn't simply trying to scare them off.
15:48It was trying to instill fear on a primal level.
15:51With panic setting in, they made the only choice that made sense.
15:54They ran. Fast and without looking back.
15:57Some viewers believe it may have been a skinwalker or an unidentified cryptid.
16:02And honestly, that theory doesn't feel far-fetched.
16:05One thing's for sure.
16:06Whatever was waiting in that barn, it wasn't human.
16:10And it definitely wasn't interested in being discovered.
16:14Danger doesn't always come in the form of growls in the dark or shadows in the trees.
16:19Sometimes, the most unsettling thing you can come across in the wild is another person.
16:23Our next disturbing clip comes from Shia's Outdoor Adventures, a YouTube channel that usually highlights the peaceful side of nature.
16:32Ice fishing on frozen lakes, hunting trips, and spontaneous Midwestern outdoor moments.
16:38All captured with a raw and unscripted style.
16:41But on March 23rd, 2025, things didn't go as planned.
16:46While quietly ice fishing on what should have been just another relaxing day out on the ice,
16:51the group was suddenly approached by a visibly angry man.
16:55His tone aggressive, his words sharp, as he accused them of doing something wrong.
17:00The atmosphere shifted instantly from calm to tense,
17:03and what followed was far from the kind of content they usually share.
17:06Morning.
17:10Morning.
17:11Oh, yeah.
17:16Man, you've been out here every morning and night too, huh?
17:19Yeah.
17:22Look at the machine you got here.
17:24Oh, yeah. LiveScope is nice.
17:29Any luck the past couple days?
17:31Oh, yeah.
17:32Yeah.
17:32Any nice walleyes?
17:34Yeah.
17:34Yeah.
17:35Brother got a real nice one yesterday.
17:36But, yeah, you gotta be fishing right now.
17:43Yeah, what's on that thing?
17:45Uh, LiveScope.
17:46LVS 34.
17:47Yeah.
17:48All this goes right to my shaft.
17:50I know it's f***ing dope.
17:51You better f***ing knock it off.
17:52What?
17:55Yeah.
17:55F***ing you.
17:56What?
17:57F***ing you too then.
17:59I don't know what you f***ing we're up to.
18:01What are we up to?
18:04I don't know.
18:04What are you f***ing doing?
18:05I don't know what you're even talking about.
18:12Jeez.
18:13We didn't do nothing to you.
18:16Cool.
18:17I get to make you go viral.
18:18Cool.
18:26Look at this dips***.
18:27You see him?
18:28F***.
18:32Cool.
18:35Maybe I know where you all f***ing live.
18:40Probably.
18:41F***ing beautiful what you drive.
18:43I know what you drive too.
18:51What the f***?
18:55I don't know.
18:56What the heck?
18:57Crazy guy.
19:05Look at this guy.
19:23Look at this guy.
19:26Walking around.
19:27without any warning the man marches right up to them his voice already raised and laced with
19:38hostility there's no calm introduction no attempt at a conversation just instant aggression he
19:45begins tossing out unsettling remarks dropping veiled threats like i know where you live
19:51and i know what you drive with a cold deliberate tone that immediately puts everyone on edge
19:57from the first few seconds it's clear that something isn't right not just in what he says
20:02but in the way he says it his posture his intensity the lack of any clear reason for
20:09the confrontation it all hints at a deeper volatility just beneath the surface
20:13look at this guy walking around yelling everybody he must not be catching fish
20:21look at this guy who does he think he is see him
20:30that's cool
20:35do it who can
20:41i'm calling a dnr hunt fishing harassment i got you on video
20:50you have reached the 24-hour wisconsin department of natural resources confidential tip hotline
20:57this line is for reporting violations only
20:59are you guys the silverado okay i'm just reporting him for fishing harassment
21:06i'm just gonna go get his plate so feel free to call too so we get a warning out here quicker
21:13he came over here and said i know where you live i know where you drive
21:17exactly so we both got evidence or i got it on camera so
21:21really good
21:23well good luck
21:43i mean i just said good morning this morning
21:51because we've even seen him almost every day out here too
22:13i love you
22:26i love you
22:31you
22:34you
22:37you
23:41We're over 100 yards away.
23:48Things spiral quickly.
23:50The man starts pacing back and forth, raising his voice even more, and becoming increasingly
23:55hostile with every passing minute.
23:57It's clear he's not just venting.
24:00He's trying to provoke.
24:01Realizing the situation is no longer safe or acceptable, the group makes a smart call to
24:06contact the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, reporting the incident as harassment.
24:12Before long, a warden arrives to assess the scene and speak with everyone involved.
24:16What's surprising is what happens next.
24:19After everything, the man actually returns and offers an apology.
24:23He admits he crossed a line, that his behavior was unacceptable.
24:27And while it's still unclear what triggered such an outburst, whether stress, paranoia,
24:32or something deeper, his earlier actions left a lasting impression.
24:36A bad day can happen to anyone, but it never justifies taking that anger out on innocent
24:42people, favorite hidden spots in nature.
24:46On July the 16th, 2025, she set out alone for a rainy evening camping trip in a small
24:52forest just outside her hometown.
24:54Though she opened the video with a hopeful tone and a smile, she was honest about feeling
24:58uneasy.
24:58The forest felt a little too open, a little too close to the city.
25:03And while not remote, its in-between location gave it a strange, exposed energy that seemed
25:08to linger just beyond the edges of her comfort.
25:10Is that mosquito in here?
25:14Extra protein.
25:18I definitely have enough food.
25:21I think my food have attracted all the mosquitoes, my worst enemy.
25:33Okay, let's see.
25:46It's good.
25:47It could use some extra spices.
25:53I forgot to bring some pepper or some chili, but it tastes good.
26:00I know that I made it sound like there was too much food here, but I ate it all.
26:22So, now I'm very full.
26:27Now, I cleaned up after my dinner.
26:31So, now should be the time where I put up the tent and get ready for the night.
26:41As the rain lightens to a drizzle, she settles in to eat her dinner.
26:46Nothing fancy.
26:48Just a simple meal cooked over a small stove, with the constant buzz of mosquitoes adding
26:52to the quiet tension of the setting.
26:54She swats them away absentmindedly, going through the motions of tidying her cooking setup and
26:59organizing her gear.
27:00On the surface, everything seems routine, calm, methodical, like she's done this a hundred
27:06times before.
27:06But there's something in her posture, the way she glances over her shoulder between
27:10bites, that gives her unease away.
27:12She's trying to stay focused, but it's clear that something about this particular forest,
27:17on this particular night, is making her feel just slightly off.
27:20I feel, I don't think I feel like staying here for the night.
27:30Like, you can hear loud music in the distance.
27:37Like, you can hear cars, very close by.
27:47Oh, now there is a guy, biking, right here.
27:51Yeah.
27:59Yeah.
28:01I think I need to pack up and then just go home in my bed.
28:09I will probably not post this video, or I don't know.
28:16I mean, it's a pretty boring camping video when I'm not gonna camp.
28:24I feel a bit silly.
28:28But yeah, I'm gonna pack up.
28:39The uneasy feeling begins to grow, creeping in slowly until it becomes impossible to
28:48ignore.
28:49Somewhere in the distance, loud music suddenly breaks the forest's silence, echoing faintly
28:54through the trees distorted and out of place in the natural surroundings.
28:58It's not close, but it's enough to shift the atmosphere from quiet to uncertain.
29:03Then, without warning, a lone biker appears in the area.
29:08Not someone she'd seen earlier, not someone expected.
29:11He doesn't say much, just passes through, but the timing and presence are enough to rattle
29:14her.
29:15The vibe changes completely.
29:17Whatever piece she had managed to hold onto is gone, trusting her instincts.
29:22She makes the call.
29:23It's not worth trying to tough it out.
29:26Quickly but calmly, she starts packing up her things, ready to get out before night fully
29:30settles in.
29:31You stuff?
29:33Got my backpack on, and now I'm gonna walk to the train station and go back home and sleep
29:43there.
29:44I feel, yeah, as if I'm not successful with this trip, and it's a bit annoying, but also
29:58I just need to listen to myself, and I didn't feel good about staying here.
30:10So I'm gonna go home.
30:13I guess my colleagues will also be happy about that tomorrow, that I'm not coming straight
30:21from the forest to the office.
30:23So now I'm on my way back home, feeling a bit silly, having a tent and a sleeping bag and
30:34everything in my backpack, and then heading home.
30:39Now I'm on my way back home.
30:41Now I'm on my way back home.
30:43With that lingering tension still hanging in the air, she makes her way back through the
30:47forest, headlamp on, gear in tow, walking briskly toward the nearest train station to
30:52head home.
30:53And the trees feel different now, less like a retreat, more like something she's putting
30:57behind her.
30:58And honestly, I think she made the best possible choice.
31:02When you're alone in the woods and your gut starts sounding the alarm, that's not something
31:06to brush off.
31:07Camping should bring calm, not paranoia.
31:10In the moment that calm breaks, it's no longer about bravery, it's about staying safe.
31:14Because when your instincts kick in out there, they're not drama, they're protection.
31:19Sometimes the smartest move isn't to push through, is to pack up and go.
31:24Closing out tonight's lineup is a tense moment captured by One Rod, One Real Fishing, the well-known
31:29YouTube channel run by Mike, who's built a following around spontaneous fishing trips,
31:35unfiltered outdoor moments, and the kind of real-life encounters that come with exploring
31:40unknown spots.
31:41On May 4th, 2021, Mike and a few friends set out to fish along a scenic river they believed
31:47to be on public land, just another casual day on the water.
31:51But things quickly take an unexpected turn when they're approached by an irate man who
31:56aggressively accuses them of trespassing.
31:58He claims they must have crossed a locked gate, or ignored warning signs along the way.
32:03The group, caught off guard, insists they never saw any such indicators, and believe they
32:09were well within their rights.
32:11What started as a relaxing afternoon suddenly became confrontational, with emotions rising
32:16and the situation hanging in a gray area between misunderstanding and intimidation.
32:20You can come in on the state land, the state parking lot, where you're trespassing someone's
32:24name on the parking lot.
32:26You did get out of here.
32:28Look, you guys started playing games, so just be truthful with me, and then I don't send
32:32this to DEC.
32:33I just want your license, so I have it on record.
32:35If I catch on any of my cameras again, then I will send you.
32:38I'm not trying to play games with you, sir.
32:40Had I known it was your property, then we would have left.
32:43And now that you're telling us, we won't come back.
32:45Show me where you're walking.
32:46I'll show you the...
32:47Yeah, sure.
32:48I'll show you the no trespassing stuff.
32:49Sure thing.
32:50No problem.
32:51Let's go.
32:52No problem, sir.
32:53I'll meet you.
32:54Tell the boys that I'll pack up and leave at the bottom over here, get them all.
33:02How did you get here?
33:03You told me you parked on the state land.
33:05There's no way, this way on the state land, you didn't get to this spot.
33:10You got to this spot without swimming.
33:12And you're not wet.
33:13We were waiting in the river.
33:15Do you want to walk down?
33:16It's not that way.
33:17That's all my property.
33:18I'm walking in the woods.
33:19We would like to be here.
33:20So great.
33:21You're on...
33:22If you are publicly on property that is not yours, I have a right to ask for your identification.
33:28Otherwise I promise you, with my motorcycles and all the boys up there, we're going to
33:32get to your car before you.
33:33We're going to take a picture of every license plate and I'm going to have your picture that
33:36can tie to your license and your driver's license.
33:39We parked past and parked in a parking lot right there.
33:44And it did say...
33:46You went through a gate, correct?
33:48No, there's no gate.
33:49There's no gate.
33:50First of all, I'm not comfortable with the way you're talking to us.
33:52I'm not comfortable with the way you're talking to me, standing on my property.
33:54You're being very aggressive.
33:55So, what we're going to do...
33:57It's my property.
33:58We had no idea.
33:59You know you're not on the right property.
34:00Do you own any property in here?
34:01Because I own from all the way down there until all the way up there.
34:05You know what we can do?
34:07We can go.
34:08I'll have the rest of my crew call the DEC.
34:10I'll meet Ranger Jim here with you guys and you can get formally sighted if that's what
34:14you'd like.
34:15We're going to leave.
34:16We apologize, okay?
34:17Jason, when I asked you where you parked, why are you lying to me?
34:20Because why do I want to tell you where I parked?
34:22You seem like a dangerous individual.
34:23Oh, stop with your dangerous millennial crap.
34:26Right now, you're on my property and if you parked up there, you went through a combo
34:30gate that you either had a key to or you stole my combination.
34:34Let me...
34:35I'll handle...
34:36Start telling the truth instead of playing games with me.
34:38And you can post it wherever you want.
34:40I don't care.
34:41Sir, we literally came...
34:42We're four miles from the parking lot.
34:44Four miles.
34:45We came through...
34:46Show it to me on your GPS.
34:47You know there's no connection here.
34:49I got mine.
34:50Okay.
34:51Alright, so while the group is quietly enjoying their time by the water, rods cast and conversation
34:56light, that calm is abruptly shattered.
34:59From across the riverbank, a man begins shouting, his voice sharp, angry, and getting louder with
35:05every step.
35:06He storms toward them, his posture tense, tone already accusatory before he's even within
35:11full view.
35:12There's no greeting, no question.
35:14Just a barrage of aggressive claims that they're trespassing on private land.
35:18From the start, it's clear he's not interested in a discussion.
35:21He's furious.
35:22And his confrontational energy shifts the mood instantly from relaxed to defensive.
35:27Yeah, but no, we don't want to tell you where our car is because it seems like...
35:32Stop.
35:33You're on my property.
35:34I can have you arrested for being on my property.
35:36And you're playing a game with me which you shouldn't be doing.
35:39If you just answered me honestly from the beginning, when I simply asked you, where did you park?
35:44Why did I want to tell you where I parked?
35:46We were honest.
35:47When you're standing on my property and then you're hiking up into my property, that's not
35:51along the river.
35:52And for the record, I own to the midpoint of the river.
35:54You're walking up onto my roads and you can get that all on your little recording right there.
36:00It's on video.
36:01As I'm doing as well.
36:03I know it's on and he's got the GoPro.
36:05I'm not an idiot.
36:06I may be older than you, but I'm not telling him.
36:07This is just silly.
36:08And how many times...
36:09What's silly?
36:10You're standing on my property and you're giving me an attitude.
36:12I'd hope that you can enjoy your fishing.
36:14We can kindly leave.
36:15We made a mistake.
36:16We didn't know it was your property.
36:17Great.
36:18Give me your name.
36:19Why do I want to give you my name?
36:21Because you're standing on private property.
36:23It seems like you're going to do something.
36:24Yeah.
36:25I'm going to turn you in because you're giving me an attitude.
36:27Him, I'm not.
36:28You're standing on the road.
36:29There's signs on the road.
36:30And for him to be where he's standing, you had to walk on my roads and you know it.
36:33The road that we can...
36:34I appreciate you being polite right now.
36:35I'll put the phone away.
36:36Right?
36:37Yeah.
36:38I appreciate that.
36:39If he's lying to me and playing games and saying, hey, Billy, get out of here.
36:42It's bull****.
36:43And we both know it.
36:44Right?
36:45Yeah.
36:46If you're on somebody else's property, just be polite.
36:47And I'll just say, hey, guys, you're on my property.
36:48That's fair.
36:49The website's public.
36:50All right.
36:51We're about to go, bro.
36:52He's...
36:53I mean, we're cool.
36:54So we're not going to come back here.
36:55And we are...
36:56You can.
36:57Just look at the maps.
36:58Okay.
36:59Just appear where you are.
37:00Gotcha.
37:01But you're standing, obviously.
37:02Yeah.
37:03Well, I appreciate the information.
37:04And like you said, you said you own this half of the river from the post sign and about
37:09approximately how far down do you own just like your house?
37:11Further than you can walk.
37:12Further than I can walk.
37:13Okay.
37:14So just know that...
37:15What's the name of the road?
37:17The state land.
37:18Okay.
37:19All the way down past that.
37:20Okay.
37:21You guys can fish that side.
37:22Okay.
37:23They fish up here and cross over into there.
37:25I got you.
37:26Stay on this side.
37:27Okay.
37:28Because you're on private property.
37:29Okay.
37:30Gotcha.
37:31All right.
37:32I got my neighbors and their kids.
37:33Their shooting ranges up there.
37:34You end up creating a danger for yourself and a risk for us.
37:37Sure.
37:38That's not good.
37:39Yeah.
37:40I agree.
37:41And we apologize.
37:42And thank you for the information.
37:43So in the future, if we do come in, we'll be sure to stay off your land.
37:45Do you know what river you're fishing on?
37:46Where's the state land in the next river?
37:51There?
37:52Come on.
37:53I'll walk you guys.
37:54Show me how you walked in.
37:55Come on.
37:56Yeah.
37:57Listen, he and I are cool.
38:02You and I, I don't really understand your attitude standing on my property and you're
38:06breaking the law.
38:07So go ahead.
38:08I apologize.
38:09You just, you were scaring me a little bit.
38:11You're scaring me too.
38:13I'm out here with my family and I got my boys up there and you guys are on my property.
38:18I apologize.
38:19Now to be one of your property.
38:20I'm very, very, very sorry.
38:21But you knew it was my property when you went on it.
38:23Cause if you got to this point, unless you swam, there's no way.
38:27And you and I both know it.
38:28And all you had to do was be honest in the beginning.
38:31I would have given you a hard time.
38:32Cause I got kids a little bit older than you.
38:34And I understand the mentality.
38:36It's okay if you cut a corner every once in a while.
38:38But if you're out on this property, it's perfectly fair for me to ask for your information.
38:43Alright.
38:44After several minutes of heated ranting and tossing out vague threats, the man finally seems to
38:49cool off.
38:50His voice lowers.
38:51His pacing slows.
38:52And for a moment, it looks like the situation might de-ess it.
38:55But the calm doesn't last.
38:57Almost without warning, he circles back to the same accusation.
39:01Insisting they illegally accessed his land.
39:04Even though there's still no proof of any signs or gates.
39:07Then, seemingly out of nowhere, he turns on one of the guys in the group.
39:11Talking down to him in a condescending tone that has nothing to do with the original issue.
39:16The shift is sudden and unnecessary.
39:18And just like that, the tension flares up all over again.
39:21You didn't walk down along the river to get to this point, correct?
39:26We've-
39:27Yes or no?
39:28Perfect.
39:29Good.
39:30For you to do it, you had to walk up past my neighbor's houses up over there.
39:33Go ahead.
39:34Show me.
39:35What's up?
39:36Go ahead.
39:37I'll just walk you.
39:38Okay.
39:39You can walk with it.
39:40I'll just let you know.
39:4195%, we walked across the river.
39:42For the fact that we never saw a single house.
39:43Just so you know.
39:44There's no way down here.
39:45It's a 50 foot drop.
39:46Yeah.
39:47There's no way you can.
39:48You scaled it.
39:49Exactly.
39:50So then you're up to my neighbor's house.
39:52Okay.
39:53Oh, we did not see any house.
39:54But yeah, we can go ahead and go.
39:55And where you entered on the other side, there's no trespassing sign right there.
40:00I put up four of them.
40:02And do be careful.
40:03It is a bit slippery on these rocks.
40:12Go.
40:13Hey.
40:14Hey.
40:15Go.
40:16Go.
40:17Go.
40:18Go.
40:19All right, guys.
40:24So that was a bit of a mess.
40:29We're going to try to break it down here.
40:31But basically, that guy claims that we walked across the driveway through a gate to get down
40:36there, which we did nothing.
40:38Nothing of the sort.
40:39We parked in a public parking lot, completely public.
40:42And because I know some of you guys are going to be asking, public parking lot.
40:46And here's the sign.
40:48There is nothing here that's posted.
40:50As you can see, the sign is, I guess, blocked out for whatever reason.
40:54The only thing that's interesting is it does appear that people have been using it for some shooting practice.
41:00And we walked either down by the bank or we went full send and hiked up mountains and stuff.
41:06And we're on this trail right here where it's literally marked.
41:10It's literally a marked trail.
41:11No public.
41:12Yeah.
41:13And the area that we went through, we were waiting up the river the entire time.
41:17And we just happened to scale a cliff and continue onward.
41:20Yeah.
41:21There were posted signs on the land, but we were fishing the river.
41:24So, honestly, we parked in a public lot.
41:26We were fishing a public river.
41:27We waded up the river.
41:28Yeah.
41:29It just, it seemed a little illegitimate.
41:30That's why I wasn't willing to give that guy any information.
41:32Yeah.
41:33It's just, he came across a little bit aggressive.
41:35He was scaring me a little bit.
41:36And my idea, my first instinct was, all right, pretty much run away from like, just, just
41:41get out of here.
41:42If you, if you see a guy who seems like a little bit aggressive, I don't blame you.
41:45Yeah.
41:46And he's definitely, you're definitely not required to give him any information considering
41:48he's not law enforcement.
41:49Exactly.
41:50And we don't even know how, we don't even know to trust him because he's just some random
41:53guy out here.
41:54Yeah.
41:55And it sounds to me like the information he was giving sounded a little bit sketchy.
41:59Like those post-it signs, anyone can put a post-it signs anywhere.
42:02Those were way up in the, on the land.
42:04So that, that's the way that was.
42:06But he's claiming that he owns half of the river, like 20 miles down.
42:11As far as I can walk is what he said.
42:13And I can walk a far ways.
42:14So if he owns half of the river, half of the land, he owns, I don't even know what,
42:18how many acres.
42:19I mean, he owns, he technically owns all this on the trail that's marked.
42:22Which is totally not true.
42:23I don't, I don't think it's true.
42:25I can't say for certain, but I feel like it's not true.
42:27And also he wouldn't understand our client.
42:30He wouldn't understand our claim that we walked up the river.
42:33He said that we were on his roads for sure.
42:34So he was getting mad that we were lying to him.
42:36We told him the truth.
42:37We said, sorry, we had no idea we were fishing here.
42:39And we waited up the river.
42:40We did not go on his roads, which he was claiming.
42:42I guess his roads must be somewhere back here.
42:44But I did.
42:45I've been fishing this entire day with Sky.
42:47I have not seen any trace of a road, any gates, any houses, none of that.
42:52The only thing I've seen was the river, the rocks, and this trail right here that's marked,
42:57has markings on it.
42:59At one point, he even starts trailing them as they head back toward their vehicle,
43:03clearly not ready to let the issue drop.
43:05For several tense moments, it seems like he might follow them all the way.
43:09But eventually he stops and turns back.
43:12What makes the entire encounter even stranger is that nothing about the area felt like private property.
43:17From the place they parked to the path leading to the river,
43:20there were no gates, no fences, no warning signs.
43:24Nothing to suggest they were in the wrong.
43:27And honestly, if the man had come over in a calmer way,
43:30maybe just started a conversation instead of launching into threats,
43:33the whole situation might have played out completely differently.
43:37But with how aggressive he was from the start,
43:39it felt more like a power trip than a genuine concern.
43:42Sky made the smart move by calling for an exit when he did.
43:46Still, you've seen the moment unfold.
43:49So now it's your turn to decide who was truly out of line.
43:52That's it for tonight's video.
43:53Which encounter sent shivers down your spine?
43:56Share your answer below.
43:58Got a story of your own?
43:59We'd love to hear it.
44:01And whatever you do, don't miss what's coming next.
44:07Thanks.
44:37You
