00:38healthy surroundings acetimoprid was already banned in france back in 2018 but it is still legal in
00:46certain eu countries its comeback has been widely requested by certain beets and hazelnut farmers
00:53citing crop risks but public backlash has been absolutely overwhelming these past few weeks
01:01a petition to repeal the law drew a record 2.1 million signatures and while much of this agricultural
01:09dupland law still stands thursday's ruling draws a clear divide between the french public and the
01:16the country's lawmakers
