00:00You know, if you look at all the newspapers now, we are all talking about AI, we are talking about green hydrogen, we are talking about various other sectors.
00:09So that's the exciting bit. Now let's talk about the scary side of things. We are all talking about losing jobs.
00:15We are all talking about how AI can transform the entire IT sector, where basic programming would no longer be relevant.
00:22See, if you go back in history and once look at it, every industrial revolution ended up creating more jobs than it has replaced.
00:28But it has created jobs in countries or in states where they were ready to embrace that revolution.
00:34So wherever people have resisted change, they lost jobs. As simple as that.
00:39So what is important for India and especially for Andhra Pradesh is we have to embrace change.
00:44As education minister, it is my responsibility to revamp the entire curriculum, which I have already done.
00:49And a curriculum should have AI, quantum computing as a requirement. It could be across sectors.
00:54It is very, very important to bring about that change. And this is where, again, I am going to lean into the private sector to tell me and guide me,
01:01saying that this is the kind of change we also have to bring in terms of curriculum, so that the youth of Andhra are ready to reap the benefit of the next wave of, you know, industrial revolution, if I may,
01:11or next wave of AI and quantum computing.
01:14And the Honourable Chief Minister is a very impatient optimist.
01:21His mandate to all the ministers is to work together. His mandate to all the ministers is to deliver on this one of the marquee promises, which is to create 20 lakh jobs.
01:31We are a strong believer of training people how to catch a fish.
01:35It's not just about giving a fish, but it's about training how to catch a fish.
01:38And we want to create a vibrant ecosystem.
01:40And this 20 lakh jobs is very, very close to my heart.
