01:58Now those days are over those party rock and roll days because you have a little daughter

02:02She didn't age and she is so sweet. She gave me my life. I'm so

02:07Yeah, my little girl, Scarlett.

02:10Do you sometimes sing just for her when she's on tour with you?

02:14I sing for Scarlett quite a lot.

02:16We sing a lot at home, and she usually says,

02:18Mummy, stop singing.

02:19No!

02:21She doesn't.

02:22She keeps my feet on the ground.

02:25Yeah.

02:25Does she know that you're a pop star?

02:29She knows that mummy sings,

02:31and she actually really likes my new music.

02:34She's been listening to Think About It,

02:36which is the current single,

02:37and she sings along to that.

02:39And she can sing the lyrics also?

02:41So perhaps sometimes you can sing together.

02:44We were singing together in the pool today.

02:48And how is it being on tour with a child?

02:51Well, this is the first time I've actually brought her with me

02:54because usually you work very long hours,

02:57and there's so much traveling,

02:58but because Baden-Baden is such a great place,

03:00and it's a lovely festival that we're doing here.

03:04There's lots of times to relax and have fun.

03:06So I thought it was perfect.

03:07So this is the first time, so it's wonderful.

03:10And then Baden-Baden,

03:11so it's the perfect start for her, isn't it?

03:13Yeah.

03:13Because Baden-Baden is a city of very young people.

03:16It fits very, very good.

03:18So I've heard, yes.

03:20The Sea is the name.

03:21The Sea, that's mea of the album.

03:24Why The Sea?

03:24Is there a special relationship?

03:26I was working on the south coast of England

03:28when I was writing some of the album,

03:30and each day I'd walk along the seafront.

03:33And I just felt that The Sea said everything

03:36that I wanted the album to be.

03:37It's very powerful, unpredictable,

03:40a real force of nature.

03:41And that's how I wanted the album to be,

03:43and I believe that's how it's turned out.

03:46And is it true that you recorded some stuff with your,

03:49I can say the name with your iPhone

03:52when I say Samsung and Nokia, too.

03:54So with your iPhone, Samsung, Nokia?

03:56Well, when we,

03:57if anybody's seen the album on the front cover,

03:59I'm standing on a rock in the sea,

04:01and that's on the north coast,

04:02on the northeast coast of the UK.

04:05And yeah, as the sea was coming in,

04:07the tide was coming in,

04:08we taped.

04:10I'm saying taped.

04:11We didn't tape it, did we?

04:13Yeah, just record.

04:13We recorded it an MP3 of The Sea.

04:16And actually, there's a track on the album

04:18called The Sea,

04:20and you hear the waves,

04:21and it's the actual waves from The Sea

04:23on the front cover of the album.

04:28And it's personal.

04:29Yeah.
