Comedian Matt Rife has taken over Ed & Lorraine Warren’s Occult Museum and become the legal guardian of Annabelle, the world’s most notorious haunted doll.

00:00Annabelle, the world's most infamous haunted doll, has a new owner.

00:03It's not a priest or a paranormal expert, but stand-up comedian Matt Rife.

00:07And if you're brave enough, you might soon be able to spend the night in the same house as Annabelle.

00:12Just weeks ago on July 15, 2025, Annabelle's former handler Dan Rivera died suddenly on the Dolls on the Run Tour.

00:19Fans of the occult suspect more than coincidence.

00:30Along with the house came 750 haunted artifacts and caretaker rights to the infamous Annabelle.

00:39While they don't technically own the items, they are now responsible for guarding what some say is pure evil for the next five years.

00:46According to the warrants, the doll once left deep, unexplained claw-like scratches on a man's chest.

00:52And then there's the story of a young man who banged on Annabelle's glass case

00:58and died in a motorcycle accident just hours later.

01:01Although these incidents were never independently verified,

01:04they were enough for the couple to lock Annabelle in a glass case inscribed with prayers to contain her.

01:09The house and the museum have been closed to the public since 2019 due to zoning issues,

01:13but Rife plans to reopen the museum for the public.

01:16You are going to soon be able to book a night or a weekend and stay at the Warren's house,

01:22as well as the museum and all the artifacts inside of it.

01:25Rife, known for his viral comedy and Gen Z fanbase also added,

01:29If you follow ghost stuff, this is about as big as it gets.

01:32He posted a video admitting the move felt random but exciting.

01:35This might just be the spookiest career pivot of 2025.
