00:00When we got Cubby, he was so young.
00:10Oh, he's got the worst underbite I've ever seen.
00:13Right off the bat, he's got health issues and he's got things that we would have to worry about tenfold because of his dwarfism.
00:22I think we were all so afraid of his lack of survival.
00:29He was a very lethargic little horse.
00:32He had no energy.
00:33There's so much you can do with his name.
00:35Tub of Love.
00:36Tub's a Million.
00:37Tub Mania.
00:38Sir Tubington.
00:39Sir Tubington.
00:40We were quarantining him in the garage in a stall.
00:44And so the first thought was, you know what, let's see if we can get something really big and bulky that he can snuggle up with.
00:52We tried putting a big teddy bear in there for comfort.
00:58It was very short lived because it wasn't long after that we would bring him in so he wasn't getting too cold.
01:05And I think that was the game changer.
01:07He started to, I think, not feel so alone.
01:08And we started to see a little bit of a change in his attitude and his eyes started to seem brighter.
01:32Within a week when he was walking around just while I was sitting on our front steps and he kind of got a little burst of energy.
01:47And I was like, oh my gosh, there is no way you just did that.
01:55There's no way, little man.
01:58Hi Tubula!
02:00From that point on, we started to see growth in Tubby and he started to thrive.
02:06You're hungry?
02:07Obviously, he's hungry.
02:09Literally like a spring flower, he just started to bloom and he just started to open up.
02:14Alright little bits, let's go home.
02:16Let's go home.
02:17He's very contagious and he makes the others play.
02:20He just pops up in the air.
02:29Kind of like a little popcorn ball.
02:30I love you.
02:35He is as sweet as a bee.
02:38Oh mom!
02:39But he's the first one to take your shirt in his mouth.
02:42Off you go.
02:43So we do kind of refer to him as our little lamb shark because nothing is off limits to Tubby.
02:51He will always be a special needs horse.
02:55They're small and they can be perceived as being so cute and to that we really strongly advocate that these horses are special and they stay out of the wrong hands.
03:08What are you doing?
03:10Handsome, come here.
03:13What did he do?
