00:05and protect themselves from tick bites this summer. Latest data from UKHSA has found that there was
00:111,581 cases of Lyme disease in 2024. The most confirmed cases were reported in the South West,
00:20the South East and in London. Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that is spread to humans when
00:26they are bitten by infected ticks. It can take between 3 and 30 days for the symptoms of Lyme disease
00:33to first appear. The most common symptom is a red bullseye rash which is at the location of the tick
00:40bite. Other symptoms can include fever, headache, fatigue, nerve pain, numbness or tingling in the
