00:40madhiyasidiyya Sultanul Auliyah, Mashaikh Shacham al-Kubani, unzur halana wa ishfalanana wa abiduni, bemadadakum wa nazarakum.
00:46A'udhu billahi min ashshaytan, wa bismillahirrahmanirrahim, wa tiyallahi ya Rasul wa li al-amri minkum.
00:53And remind always for myself, Anu abdukul ajiz, al-daeef, al-miskin, al-zalim, al-jahal.
00:59And by the grace of Allah I'm still in existence.
01:04Allah's rahmah and mercy to be upon us and that we took a path inshaAllah of constantly reminding ourselves
01:12that we are nothing and in our nothingness also a reminder from Prophet ﷺ that this
01:22dunya is also nothing and not a weight of a wing of a mosquito for Allah and everything
01:30has a cycle of life and death and we are under the teachings that this material world is in
01:41its last phase.
01:43It's entering its state of death and that everything around us is a sign of tremendous difficulty,
01:53tremendous bad character and we pray that Allah protect us against difficulties and that
02:05Prophet ﷺ's holy hadith and teachings of awliyaullah that in the last days awliyaullah
02:12Allah would be hidden, that the rijal would not be found and that the mercy of Allah would
02:22be lifted from the earth.
02:25And it was said many years ago that based on the bad character of people, they push away
02:35these rijalullah that they are paradise souls and paradise characters and as the dunya becomes
02:46more satanic, more demonic, more evil, the two don't mix, the truth and the falsehood
02:54don't mix.
02:55And as much as the falsehood spreads and spreads it pushes away these ahli haqqaiq because they
03:04begin to attack the people of truth and these lights and beacons of Allah .
03:11And by means of bad character, bad attacks, bad manners they begin to become veiled, where
03:20they no longer see those rijalullah, they no longer hear the rijalullah, they no longer
03:27keep the company of rijalullah, Allah's holy souls.
03:33There are a rahmah upon the earth that when we think of and we've been talking about the
03:41immense love of all the Prophets, the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
03:47Only by understanding and moving towards the love of Prophet ﷺ, the haqqaiqs of Sayyidina
03:54Muhammad ﷺ, you get a small taste of how much Allah loves Prophet ﷺ.
04:01Because if you don't talk about it then you don't understand what love the Divine has
04:08for the prophetic souls, what love Allah has for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
04:13That we raise your remembrance of the people who see, my malaika and the souls, the rijalullah,
04:26they see, they're not blind, they know how much I revere you, how much I'm praising upon
04:35you ﷺ.
04:36How much I've given to you that all this creation I gave to you, from its sama' and to its
04:45aardh, from all of its heavens.
04:48Sakhara lakum, ma fi samawati wa ma fi al-ad, wa jamia.
04:53And anything between them, from the souls to the angels to the heavens to the earth, wherever
04:59you can think of creation, I gave it all to you ﷺ.
05:05Then you understand the immense love that Allah has.
05:11Only then you can begin to understand that when you say that those holy souls, those rijalullah,
05:19they are awliya, that what is an understanding of an awliya, of a wali, of a saint.
05:29Means that they have such an immense love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ that Allah love is
05:38like a magnet that moving towards them.
05:42Because they were taught, love Prophet ﷺ, قُلِينِ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُونَ اللَّهِ
05:47فَاتَّبِيُونِ
05:48Now with that following and the love of Prophet ﷺ, يُحِبُّكُمْ اللَّهِ
05:55Allah's love is not something that can be imagined.
06:02With the love of the Divinely Presence, every light, every tajalli, every blessing, every
06:07gift is dressing upon that soul where Allah describing like a sun that in every moment
06:15I'm in a new tajalli because Allah doesn't recycle.
06:20At every fraction of a second as much as you can go down, the Divine has a new manifestation,
06:28new light, new creations, new paradises, new angels, new praisings, not like us.
06:35So when you say, «Allahu Akbar» if you tafakkur and contemplate, «Ya Rabbi you're
06:41Akbar beyond belief, your supremacy beyond belief, even beyond what you can believe of
06:48beyond» means take it to an immense understanding of how all coming new at every fraction of
06:56a second and Allah addressing that's a notion of love.
07:02That those souls when you say they're awliya and that they're wali that they've attracted
07:07the love of Allah because Allah they completed their fard but they approached through voluntary
07:15worship the door I wanted them to approach.
07:18They approached what I loved and I love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and they're lost in the love of
07:24Prophet ﷺ.
07:25As a result of the love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ they attracted the love of Allah .
07:32And Allah immense love continuously dressing those souls.
07:37So when we understand what type of rahmah, what type of mercy, what type of blessing upon
07:42those souls, they're dressed from the lights because now you begin to understand the greatness
07:49of Prophet ﷺ.
07:50When Allah is swearing by Surah Al Yaseen, Ya Seen I'm swearing by all its realities.
07:59Everything we said from the Ya of Yaqeen to the secret of the Seen.
08:05The Seen is Ilm al Yaqeen, Ayn al Yaqeen, Haq al Yaqeen, only with all that faculty and all the
08:13kalam of the Ya , every huruf, every knowledge, everything written is in the secret of Sayyidina
08:20Yasin ﷺ ﷺ.
08:22And Allah describing Wal Qur'an al-Hakim, by My Qur'an which You are the walking Qur'an,
08:30and You are the hikmah, You are My hikmah, Your soul is every ocean of wisdom, You are My
08:39walking Qur'an.
08:40That wherever you move is the reality of Holy Qur'an that from everything is coming
08:46alive from that reality because Allah describes if there's a book that can raise the dead
08:52it is the Holy Qur'an.
08:53So what Allah is dressing from the heart of Prophet ﷺ that that soul that contains all
09:01creation, all power from Holy Qur'an, and this is the reality of Prophet ﷺ, kalim al-mursaleen,
09:08that every kalim, every word, every knowledge coming out is from You ﷺ and You are the
09:17Imam al-mursaleen, Your soul is the leader of all souls and all souls born from Your soul
09:24ﷺ.
09:25Means the immense, immense gift that Allah dressing upon Prophet ﷺ, all of that light.
09:36And what makes somebody to be a wali and those who follow the way of wulayat is their immense
09:43love for Prophet ﷺ.
09:46They took it, they understood it, they followed it, exact.
09:51Ya Rabbi'u we won't, we're not stopping until we reach to the love of Prophet ﷺ.
09:58When someone says, they love you, they love everything about you and all your jat and all
10:05your friends and everything.
10:07So, they reached wulayat by loving all the companions of Prophet ﷺ.
10:14Whomever Prophet ﷺ loved, they loved.
10:17They loved all the family of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ because they're lost in that ishq and
10:23that love.
10:24Means they're dressed with a completeness of their character, completeness of love.
10:30Then imagine that rahmah and then Prophet ﷺ and awliyaullah describing in the last days
10:36that they would be attacked, that they would be back-bitten, they would be all type of
10:43talk and bad talk to be put upon them and they don't need to defend themselves.
10:50Because Allah is defending, but we have to be sad.
10:55Not because you're going to take the darajah down by attacking them, it's impossible.
11:01That whatever Allah give, Allah never takes away.
11:05We can't even understand their associations that they close their eyes, they don't close
11:11their eyes, they're with them.
11:13And they have an association that is from Allah's oceans of reality.
11:18And once you are accepted into that association then nothing ever closes the door of that
11:23association.
11:24And through that association all power, all qudra, all divine blessings like our association.
11:30That as soon as they enter they are with them, dressed by them, the madad reaching to them.
11:38By means of that connection that every faiz comes upon this dunya.
11:45And that door never close when Allah opens.
11:48They become mahfuz.
11:50They become whom Allah make them to be guarded.
11:54And whatever sin they're going to commit, Allah inspire within them to make tawbah and ask
11:59for forgiveness.
12:00Because they're not masoom in which they don't sin.
12:04I mean such an immense power, such an immense reality.
12:09And then to see that in the last days they would be pushed away.
12:13Why?
12:14That's the sins of people, that when people go around and backbite and slander and talk
12:21horrible about awliyaullah who dedicated their whole life for the spreading and the propagation
12:27of the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
12:30Why?
12:31Why is that a danger?
12:33Because people will be cut from that mercy.
12:36Because as soon as you hear something bad about somebody pious, your heart will be,
12:42oh, who needs that?
12:45And you now just block the door from Allah's tremendous mercy.
12:50And that's the sad part, that we're seeing now that hadith is open, that as soon as people
12:56begin to attack pious people, it affects the heart of weaker people who are looking to them,
13:03thinking about them, loving them, and what happened is their heart now has doubt, their belief
13:10has doubt.
13:11Who's to benefit from that doubt is shaitan and dajjal.
13:15They are waiting right on the sidelines and they come after people to confuse them, to take
13:22them away.
13:23It's the love of awliyaullah, the love of these people that save us.
13:30By loving them you keep their company whether you're close or at a distance.
13:36By loving them you're learning from them, you're looking at them.
13:39Every emanation and dressing is dressing upon the soul.
13:44So when these confusions start, know that people will be running and leaving those barakas
13:50and they become what we said maybe 8-10 years ago, is don't untie yourself from a tree of
13:57safety.
13:59That a storm is coming.
14:01And all that shaitan wants and every test that's going to come, that Allah even sending
14:09the test that, you know that one like a mountain in his power.
14:15You know that wali like a mountain in his power that whatever you're tied to don't untie yourself.
14:22Don't let doubt come into your eyes and into your heart and into your hands and into your
14:26tongue.
14:27However shaitan going to send it.
14:29When we say shaitan going to send you doubt, it's not by a demon with two horns and a tail,
14:37but it's by somebody you know that has access to you.
14:41Shaitan is clever, shaitan doesn't stand outside your glass window and say let me in,
14:45let me in.
14:46No, no, he send you somebody you know that he's already in the heart of that person.
14:51And they come as human raswas and they begin to whisper, whisper, whisper, why?
14:57Because shaitan wants, shaitan wants let go, let go, let go of that rope, or Allah just
15:03said don't let go of the rope and don't separate.
15:08Because this is in reference to the big ulu al-am, that when Allah guides you to these
15:14awliya Allah the warning for the last days is, hold tight, it's about to get very stormy.
15:21So when they say storm means everything is going to come.
15:26Shaitan is going to confuse your ears, don't listen, it's not your darajat, that one is
15:32a wali, hold tight, whatever coming to you I don't want to hear it, block your hearing
15:39because this is a practice that whatever you think you're hearing is not going to be anything
15:44compared to what dajjal is going to be doing upon people.
15:47Don't want to hear, I'm deaf, I'm blind and I'm dumb when it comes to love of my
15:52shaykh.
15:53I don't want to hear it, I'm already locked on until my death.
15:57I don't want to see it, I don't want to have any conversation about it, I'm tied on.
16:03Tied on onto that rope and hold on when they talk about a storm, it's a real storm.
16:10You're going to be bombarded from every possible direction.
16:13By who?
16:15By the accursed one.
16:17Allah said, why are you following him?
16:23You know he's your enemy, when you know that that one who's attacking and giving you whispers
16:28and talking these bad talks, he's behind, that flute is shaitan and Allah said, don't
16:34follow, you know that shaitan is going to try to make you to undo your hand.
16:39If you undo your hand in the storm, you'll be blown from tree to tree until your life
16:46is devastated and everything about your existence is gone and you die into the grave with disbelief,
16:52God forbid.
16:53For what?
16:54Because you're holding tight, shaitan doesn't want you holding tight.
16:57So his whole thing, gaw gaw gaw gaw gaw bite everything to let go.
17:04Now we come to the talk, what Sayyidina Ali is describing for us because he's the imam
17:14of the shivalrous character, means the one who teaches the best of character encompassing
17:24all the teachings of the Sahabi, that the best of character in your life, stop.
17:32Before you're going to do anything stop, as soon as you stop think, as soon as you enter
17:38into thinking then you move, you make an action.
17:43Whether your action is by foot that you wanted to do something, you wanted to write something
17:48now because everything your mouth is like your fingers because you can type words.
17:53The majority of people in hellfire got there by their mouth.
17:58The new mouth is the hand, by the words and the kalam that we put out, earns for us our
18:03punishment.
18:04So Imam Ali ﷺ is teaching that before you do anything, that stop.
18:11The way of tafakkur stop, contemplate, from your deep contemplation then you move.
18:20So now they come and begin to teach and what Imam Ali ﷺ is teaching for us, that as soon
18:26as you stop and the reality of stop opens for you the reality of silence, that take a path
18:33in which you are silent.
18:35Stop, stop everything that you're doing, stop all your movements, stop all your typing,
18:41stop all your writing, stop every conversation that you're having.
18:45Because now you want to analyze is your time for Rahman or your time is for shaitan.
18:51So as soon as you stop the teaching and the reality of stopping is opening now the tafakkur
19:00and the contemplation and reality of hearing.
19:03Because what you hear and Allah described, they have ears but they don't hear.
19:09They have eyes and they don't see, and they have a brain in which they don't use, and
19:14a heart in which is not alive.
19:17So this hearing is related to stopping.
19:20So people think that they're hearing everything, they're continuously hearing, hearing all the
19:24gossip, hearing all the talk, and then quickly making judgment, quickly making moves.
19:29But you really didn't hear.
19:31So what they want from us, from Ahlul Haqqaiq, no, no, that stop in your life.
19:36As soon as you stop, you enter into tafakkur and contemplation.
19:40And only through silence can you really hear.
19:45Because this way of reality, what do they call an oxymoron, where one means the other.
19:55In this world you're dead.
19:57And only when you die you become from Ahlul Hayat .
20:01But you think you're alive, everything is an illusion.
20:04So you think you're hearing, because you're busy in the world.
20:08Say, I don't know what you're talking about.
20:10I hear everything.
20:11So, no, that's actually not hearing.
20:14But when you enter into silence, you hear.
20:17Because the hearing Allah won't, is not all that from everybody.
20:22Hearing that Allah won't is only through your state of silence.
20:28Take a path of silence.
20:30As soon as you silence yourself, as soon as you stop in your movement and every night
20:36you say, I'm going to make my time for tafakkur because all my choices are going to be incorrect
20:42if I didn't contemplate them.
20:45So as soon as you stop and contemplate then they begin to train you.
20:49That as soon as you're contemplating and connecting your heart and listening to salawats and taking
20:54out all the noise of this dunya, you can begin to hear.
20:59You're going to hear Allah going to send your soul to you and begin to give you isharat
21:05and guidance.
21:06That the soul coming from Allah's Divinely Present going to come to you and begin to inspire
21:12you and begin to have a real dialogue.
21:17That dialogue is the hearing that we need.
21:20So when these fitnas begin and people are attacking left and right and then typing and then moving
21:26and then saying, you're entering and building a fire of Jahannam upon yourself.
21:33Stop everything.
21:34Be careful.
21:35You are talking about awliyaullah.
21:37When you fight awliyaullah, Allah declares war upon you.
21:40These people came and declared war against Mawlana and Allah devastated that entire region.
21:47He sent in Russians and cleaned out the whole area.
21:50Allah's might is beyond imagination.
21:55Those people who made a threat against Mawlana Shaykh Hisham, Allah sent the Russian army
22:00and devastated the entire area.
22:02They didn't leave one thing standing.
22:03Allah's azimat is something that can be imagined.
22:08Allah's qahar will devastate and flatten everything for the sake of his one wali.
22:13Especially if that wali is the sultan of this time.
22:17Be careful for people who are jahl.
22:21You're cutting your hands from your own safety and najat.
22:26You cut your ears from that najat.
22:28You cut your eyes from that najat.
22:29And what Imam was teaching because we're the people of chivalry and good character.
22:35The stop.
22:36As soon as you stop, your real hearing can begin because you are taking a path of tafakkur.
22:42Then he said, teach then think.
22:46Not to think of your mind because your mind is too busy with rubbish.
22:50But the real thinking and tafakkur is through your heart.
22:54So it means you're now in a state of contemplation.
22:57You stopped.
22:58Stop your busy world.
22:59Late at night when everybody's sleeping, stop your busy world.
23:03And as soon as you stop on your prayer corporate and you're meditating and contemplating, put
23:07Qur'an very light and begin to hear yourself, Ya Rabbi what is it that you want from me?
23:14What is my purpose in this life?
23:16Ya Rabbi send me your najat.
23:18Send me a salvation.
23:20And as soon as you stop, then Imam ﷺ contemplate.
23:25Contemplate and use your heart that when you're thinking through your heart, Ya Rabbi I don't
23:30want to know what's in this but I want to know what's in here.
23:35At that time when you're stopping and trying to contemplate, Allah can now send
23:39that isharat.
23:40They're like little sparks that come to your heart.
23:43If you're running all day long, how are you going to get that spark?
23:47Because that spark is a subtle energy.
23:50It just come to your heart and you feel a guidance coming.
23:55You feel an understanding coming.
23:57But if a person busy all day, they will never catch that spark.
24:00It's not going to come in the grocery store, it's not going to come in Starbucks.
24:06But it's going to come on the sajadah when the servant is in tafakkur.
24:10He stopped his life, stopped his busyness, began to contemplate, what is the move that
24:16I'm making Ya Rabbi?
24:18The difference between people and awliyaullah is awliyaullah are years in advance of what
24:24they're thinking.
24:25Every step they make, they have to contemplate, what will happen next?
24:30What will this person say next?
24:32What will be the event through this door?
24:34Means if I open this door, where shaitan will be attacking?
24:38And what will be all the consequences of those moves?
24:41So they move years in advance, where people move now today to the extent of their no's.
24:48They don't even care what the next consequence.
24:51They say whatever they want and surprised that shaitan attacked them.
24:55They do whatever they want and surprised how they fell into a hole.
25:00So this way that Imam Ali is teaching that all awliyaullah have to follow, all those who
25:06follow awliyaullah have been trained in that way.
25:09They stop everything, don't make a move until you've contemplated it.
25:14And when you contemplate and go deep in your contemplation, you're asking for their guidance.
25:18Ya buddala, nujaba, nuqab, awtad, wal-akhyar, the buddala who are responsible for removing
25:24obstacles in your life.
25:27You have to be calling upon awliyaullah, it's a sign of humility.
25:30Ya Rabbi, Ya buddala, Ya nujaba, Ya nuqaba, Ya… from buddala that Ya Rabbi whatever obstacles
25:37are in my way, I'm asking from these souls to remove these obstacles, take away these difficulties,
25:45so that my moves are clear, and that my moves are not obstructed by shaitan making an illusion
25:52for me to fall into a hole, that I want to be under your support.
25:57Nujaba, nuqaba, nuqaba, they take from the bad characteristics of the heart, that Ya Rabbi
26:03if I have bad desire, bad characteristics, remove them so that my choices will be clear.
26:10My choices won't be based on my bad characteristic, won't be based on my bad desires, but Ya Rabbi
26:17make my heart to be pure, so my step is pure, my actions are pure, my contemplation is pure.
26:24All of these tools are there for us, but now everything within an instant they want to type,
26:32they want to comment, they want to curse, they want to do everything, might as well have
26:36sealed your coffin and every difficulty come to that servant.
26:42So what they want for us is this good character, you stop in your life and begin to hear.
26:48As soon as you begin to hear, begin to contemplate, move all the steps that what will happen, what
26:55are going to be the results, play the entire board of chess within your heart.
27:00Because this is a shatrain, the chess game, life is a big chess game.
27:07If every move you're making shaitan is waiting on the other side countering your move.
27:13So then you play the move within your heart, Ya Rabbi if I take this step what's going
27:18to happen?
27:19Shaitan is going to hit me here, then shaitan is going to hit me here and I'm going to
27:23end up in a hole in the middle.
27:25So they don't make a move unless they've contemplated it based on that contemplation,
27:32then they're able to move successfully and to achieve what Allah want them to achieve.
27:39Then that opens an understanding of why when you accompany somebody as a guide or somebody
27:46pious, you have such a difficult time fulfilling what was asked of you.
27:55Really impossible to fulfill it.
27:57Why?
27:58Because shaitan understands the word of that shaykh more than the student.
28:06Shaitan is vigilantly associated in all the associations.
28:10He has more respect for the teaching than the student.
28:14He's listening and saying, why did he just say that?
28:18This is coming from, Ati Allah, Ati Rasul, Ulul Amr Minkum, immediately he dispatches
28:23all his people to guard that that student never do what that shaykh just asked.
28:30If they were working for shaitan, shaitan will tell you, go do it.
28:33If the shaykh just told you, go to the movie and have popcorn, 10 shaitans will be telling
28:38you, yeah quickly go, quickly go.
28:40You'll quickly run to the movie, have all the popcorn and candy you can eat.
28:43But as soon as he tells you to do this, it's the most impossible thing in your life to
28:48do.
28:49And every day you come across it, oh I'm not gonna do it because shaitan tell you, no,
28:53no, no, don't do it, don't listen, don't absolutely don't do what he just said.
28:58So that you understand this is a big chess game.
29:02That every movement and every guidance that you're getting is to open something from your
29:07reality and to accomplish what they want accomplished on this.
29:13And all the one on the other side he's aggressively also blocking every single move.
29:19That way you know, that's why in the contemplation you know that how real this is that shaitan
29:24blocks every single move.
29:27Today and I'll give you an example in everyone's life, you eat chocolate every day if you come
29:32here.
29:33Every day you come get a chocolate and eat, every day you get a chocolate.
29:36If I tell you that please from now on get a chocolate.
29:40As of tomorrow you'll never eat a chocolate here again.
29:45Don't doubt it because I can go to each one and tell you certain thing and you'll see
29:49as of tomorrow you won't be able to do it.
29:52Why?
29:53Because shaitan will say that he respects the teaching of the teacher more.
29:58He heard that and says, this shaykh is giving them a secret in the chocolate.
30:02Tells all his people, block the chocolate.
30:07And you walk through the door you won't think of the chocolate.
30:11You'll have every bad desire from the chocolate.
30:13You'll have every whisperer that, don't do that.
30:17So that not to complete what was given as a guidance.
30:21That is the game that we're facing.
30:23If we don't take that understanding serious, don't take whatever you're hearing as something
30:28small.
30:29Think of it as something huge and why shaitan is blocking you from being able to accomplish
30:34it.
30:35They say, make a flyer?
30:37Make a flyer.
30:38Make a video?
30:39Make a video.
30:40Do this, do that.
30:41Whatever it is, don't think it's something small because shaitan thought it was so big
30:45to block you and you're still not able to complete it and Allah wanted something, Allah
30:51wanted to give something from that.
30:55Everything has a reward and a reality within the heart and shaitan wants to block it, block
31:00it, block it.
31:01SubhanAllah Rabbika Rabbil Al-Azzati Amma Yasifoon wa Salamuna Al-Mursaleen wa Alhamdulillahi
