00:04stuck out and kind of stuck with you as you were crafting your performance for a bad episode i don't

00:08know if it's in the cut i haven't seen it but he had me stand in one place and just say billy over

00:15over do you remember that oh yeah he was he had you screaming man so it was really uncomfortable

00:23every part of me wanted to move from that spot and um but then i thought well the character's got to be

00:34so uncomfortable right now and not know what to do and feel misplaced and and feel like he wants

00:40to run but can't and wants to turn back time but can't so uh you know i felt like it might actually

00:49fit and that's where you go well i guess i just got to trust josh here and and he's got great taste

00:55so josh is a is a spectacular actor and so he understands the way that actors think um and

01:02and he understands the way that that uh that sometimes we we want things to be in and and

01:09where there's tension in you know the way that we want it to go and the way that it needs to go

01:14and also he was able to extend us a lot of trust i think in that it through through the filming of

01:20that sequence uh where he he knew uh from being on the inside of that uh that that that you you kind

01:27of need to to have the gloves off and and just you know be able to kind of go to town um and and

01:34trust in your other actor and and just really kind of like you know take it to each other i remember in

01:40in the first season sean and josh and i had dinner and he was telling us about an experience that he

01:45had on broadway and and with another actor he was just like they they were just like no reserves no

01:52no holds barred just kind of going at it and i i feel like that's what what sean and i got to do

01:58in that sequence of a very fun liberating experience
