10:36Horror and science fiction collided on the American frontiers in these pulp comics of yesteryear, and they were a breeding ground for wacky creativity, weirdness, and brilliance.
10:48Your look must draw inspiration from this same weird, wild world, and it must contain both Western-themed elements as well as horror and science fiction tones.
10:56We also want to see a little panache in your performance.
11:00It's one thing to design and build a look, but it's another thing to sell it on the stage.
11:05And if you're going to win this competition, you're going to have to do both, and do them both well.

14:42so i'm really excited for the wild west theme and this is my attempt at remaking an iconic
14:59mugler outfit and i've used spandex but i knew that it wasn't going to be like enough on its
15:05own so i had to line everything with neoprene and it's been very labor intensive but like
15:10so very worth it my concept basically is like a brothel worker hybrid pig lady basically i asked
15:18myself if i was back then in the weird wild west what would i be doing and hooking so i drew inspiration
15:25from the girls in the brothels i also have this character that i do she's an iconic pig character
15:30i constructed and i wanted to push myself to bring her to life more so my inspiration for weird wild
15:37west is going to be this like really nasty alien bounty hunter like very post-human just the world
15:45is absolute dust it's going to be a lot of leather and then with this you just distress everything
15:52that's usually what takes the longest for something like this but it's pretty easily achieved it's just
15:57watered down acrylic paint and then lots of layers just to get the right texture that we're going for
16:02especially out in the desert things wear a certain way so it's like to bring that to life
16:07so you know i'm an old hill person from the south the backwoods of tennessee and as such i love dolly
16:15pardon so my inspiration is best little whorehouse in texas and i'm going to combine it with one of my
16:21favorite post-apocalyptic movies terminator so she's going to be like a robo dolly risen from the ashes
16:27which is which is fitting of you know the situation i think i'll be back y'all
16:33my concept is may west meets uh a one-eyed alien when she runs the brothel she's telling the hoes
