00:00On the first day, God created the dog.

00:11Sit by the door of your house all day and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past.
00:16For this, I will give you a lifespan of 20 years.
00:20The dog replied,
00:22That's a long time to be barking.
00:25How about I take only 10 years and give you back the other 10?
00:29So God agreed.
00:31On the second day, God created the monkey.
00:35God said,
00:36Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh.
00:40For this, I'll give you a 20-year lifespan.
00:43The monkey said,
00:46Monkey tricks for 20 years?
00:47That's a long time to take.
00:50How about I take 10 years and give back the other 10?
00:54God agreed.
00:55On the third day, God created the cow.
01:00God said,
01:01You must go into the field with the farmer all day,
01:04endure the sun, have calves, and give milk to support the farmer's family.
01:09For this, I will give you a lifespan of 60 years.
01:13The cow said,
01:15That's a tough life to live for 60 years.
01:18How about I take 20 years and give back the other 40?
01:21God agreed again.
01:24On the fourth day, God created humans.
01:27God said,
01:28Eat, sleep, play, marry, and enjoy your life.
01:33For this, I'll give you 20 years.
01:35But the human replied,
01:38Only 20 years.
01:40That doesn't seem enough.
01:41How about you give me my 20 years,
01:43plus the 40 years the cow gave back,
01:45the 10 years the monkey gave back,
01:48and the 10 years the dog gave back.
01:50That makes 80 years, right?
01:53Okay, said God.
01:55You asked for it.
01:57So that's why.

02:38we sit on the porch and shout at people walking by.

02:45and enjoy the little things about getting older.
