00:00Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're counting down our picks for the moments
00:17where a single One Piece character took on a large number of opponents.
00:30Luffy's brother makes quite the first impression, Portgasty Ace reunites with his little bro
00:39in Alabasta.
00:46His more polite attitude strikes a contrast to Luffy, as does the fact that he serves under
00:51Whitebeard, the strongest pirate alive.
00:54He gets to show off just what one of Whitebeard's men is capable of when the crew is attacked
00:59by the billions, members of Baroque Works.
01:08Instead of a massive sea battle, Ace simply hops onto his little ship, leaps over a row
01:14of the billion ships and destroys them all with a single fire fist.
01:19What a beast!
01:28Don Krieg and his huge fleet set sail for the Grand Line.
01:37East Blue's biggest pirate crew seemed set to make a splash in the pirate's paradise.
01:43However, everyone is shocked when they limp home, battered and defeated.
02:00Luffy asks the first mate Gin what happened to them.
02:04Gin reveals that all 50 ships, barring Krieg's flagship, were destroyed by a single man, the
02:10warlord Mihawk.
02:12As if that wasn't impressive enough, the world's strongest swordsman follows them back to East
02:19Blue to finish the job, slicing Krieg's last remaining ship into pieces.
02:25It's early in the series, but seeing a glimpse at the peak of what One Piece characters are
02:36capable of is great.
02:388.
02:39Kaido vs. the Nine Red Scabbards Odin's retainers are eager to take their long-awaited
02:45revenge on their master's killer.
02:48The only problem is that their opponent is considered the world's strongest creature.
03:00Although the Scabbards put up a valiant effort and manage some superficial damage to Kaido,
03:06they still get wrecked.
03:08The pirate emperor cuts off arms and beats all of them into the ground with his club.
03:20Outnumbered or not, Kaido is both literally and figuratively a beast.
03:26And on land, sea or in the air, we always bet on Kaido.
03:37Well, unless he's fighting the future pirate king, of course.
03:407.
03:41Doflamingo vs. G5 When a rather large wrench is tossed into
03:46his plans, Doflamingo makes a beeline to Punk Hazard to take down the monkey that threw it.
04:06He's disappointed to find that Luffy and Law have left.
04:10And the only people remaining are the marines of G5.
04:13That doesn't stop him from knocking out most of them with Conqueror's Haki though.
04:18Although he doesn't have to hesitate to slice up or profiteer the rest, even a vice-admiral
04:33like Smoker doesn't stand a chance.
04:37He may never stop smiling, but Doflamingo's fury is still terrifying to witness.
04:52The marines consider the admirals to be their strongest forces for good reason.
05:10While Kizaru's arrival on Zabari spells disaster for the rookie pirates there.
05:24While many of them have incredible and downright broken devil fruit abilities, none of these
05:29supernovas can stand against him.
05:42Kizaru kicks several of them at light speed and fills a few full of lasers.
05:47Even getting his body cut in half does nothing to slow Kizaru down.
05:58These supernovas may be promising up-and-comers, but they're up against a veteran marine who
06:03can flex all over them.
06:055.
06:06Garb vs Blackbeard Pirates Speaking of veteran marines, the granddaddy of
06:12the organization and of Luffy is Monkey D. Garb.
06:27The man once considered the Pirate King's greatest marine rival is rarely seen in action.
06:32But when his protege, Kobe is kidnapped by the Blackbeard Pirates, Garb arrives to save
06:38him in style.
06:455.
06:46After Garb launches his ship into the middle of the island, he proceeds to send hundreds
06:55of pirates flying with an incredible haki-infused punch.
07:14Once he lands, Garb is just as impressive, taking on his former student Kuzan and any other
07:20member of the Blackbeard Pirates that get in his way.
07:23He really lives up to the legend and the family name.
07:274.
07:28Luffy Knocks Out the New Fishman Pirates When the Straw Hats squad up to rescue the royal
07:42family of Fishman Island from the New Fishman Pirates, the odds seem stacked against them.
07:49Even if they are stronger after the timeskip, they're facing 100,000 opponents.
07:54But then Hody Jones starts mouthing off about becoming Pirate King.
08:06A suitably furious Luffy wades into the middle of the Charging Fishman and unleashes his conqueror's
08:12haki, knocking out half of the enemy forces.
08:24And since Hody can't do the same, he should forget about being Pirate King.
08:28Hody may have an army, but the Straw Hats have a Luffy.
08:323.
08:37Zorro vs. 100 Bounty Hunters The crew's first island in the Grand Line is
08:43Whiskey Peak.
08:44Most of them pass out after celebrating with the surprisingly welcoming inhabitants.
08:49However, Zorro isn't fooled.
08:52The town's people are all from Baroque Works, a bounty hunting organization.
08:56Zorro vs. 100 Bounty Hunters As his crewmates sleep, Zorro decides
09:08to fight their enemies himself.
09:10He doesn't use brute force on all of them, instead fighting intelligently, using his environments,
09:16and playing them against each other.
09:24It's a fun fight that feels like a more grounded mini-action movie.
09:28Granted, there's still plenty of wacky antics and a duck involved, but it still establishes
09:34why Zorro is a real beast and second only to Luffy.
09:412.
09:46Whitebeard's Last Stand Widely regarded as the world's strongest man,
09:51Whitebeard is sick and dying by the time of the Marineford War.
09:55But, as he reminds the Marines, he's still Whitebeard.
10:06Sure, he has a large crew of pirates backing him up.
10:10However, there are so many moments throughout the war of Whitebeard just destroying everyone
10:16and everything that gets between him and his adopted son, Ace.
10:32From treating giants like their fodder, to starting tsunamis, to turning the island nearly
10:38upside down, Whitebeard performs feat after impressive feat throughout.
10:54While the cumulative damage does take its toll, Whitebeard's final hours are still legendary.

11:30Luffy Solos Eni's Lobby When Robin is kidnapped and taken to Eni's
11:36lobby, Luffy doesn't wait for his friends to go charging in.
11:46While they're still dealing with the front gate, Luffy goes on the warpath.
11:51Luffy proceeds to use his rubber fists to pummel everyone who gets between him and Robin, and
11:56he gets creative with it too.
11:58He controls his opponents like puppets.
12:01He turns buildings into volcanoes with his foot.
12:16In total, the island is staffed by 10,000 marines and government agents, and Luffy beats up at
12:22least 1,000 of them.
12:241 in 10.
12:25It's the ultimate One Piece one man army moment, just a rubber man against the world.
