People of Glasgow share their thoughts on asylum seekers being housed in hotels

00:00I think it's the right thing to do because I think if you put any British

00:04person in the shoes of an asylum seeker if we were say immigrating to another

00:09country and we fled war or being persecuted we'd want the same thing right

00:13so I mean it's it's a hard thing because there's a hell of a lot of them and

00:19there's a lot of bad things going on in this world but I think every country in

00:22the world that has the means to should house people it's just the right thing

00:27today you're going to take them in you take them in you give them houses but you don't take them in and give them all your hotels

00:32it's not a way to live for anybody so I'd rather see it not happen and a more controlled

00:41damnation policy yeah I feel like they should be because there's just been an

00:45increase of getting people on the streets and it's been more harder for them

00:47especially if they've got families don't become part of the community

00:51at the start there's a lot of outside the community they come in their own

00:56cleats and that's all good for immigration
