Dos pasajeros del vuelo de Salt Lake City a Ámsterdam de Delta Airlines describieron el "aterrador" momento en el que su avión sufrió fuertes turbulencias y lanzó a algunos pasajeros por los aires.
00:00There was actually no warning. It was a very abrupt, hard hit, and it's hard to remember all of it, but it happened several times where what we did find out hearing was that we went up about 500 feet and then dropped 1,500 feet, so there was a point where we were weightless.
00:22The hardest part was the carts were out, and they were serving, and so when we hit the second hit, if you didn't have your seatbelt on, everyone that didn't, they hit the ceiling, and then they fell to the ground, and the carts also hit the ceiling and fell to the ground, and people were injured, and it was, and it happened several times, so it was really scary.
00:46One young lady in particular, I believe she got thrown up twice to the ceiling and down and landed on people, and I think she ended up with some fractured ribs, but I will hand it to the flight attendants. They were incredibly calm, very well-trained, and very responsive.
