00:13A West Lothian teenager who was obsessed with the Columbine High School Massacre

00:18and frequently told classmates about planning a school shooting in Edinburgh

00:21has been jailed for six years for terrorism offences.

00:25Felix Winter, 18, was sentenced at the Height Court in Glasgow

00:28on Wednesday in what police described as an extremely complex and fast-moving investigation.

00:35Winter pleaded guilty in February to breach of the peace

00:37with an accompanying racial aggravation and a separate but related offence under Terrorism Act.

00:44Fire Brigade defends Edinburgh Travellers fly-tipping controlled burns, no shows.

00:50The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has defended its decision

00:52to not always attend fly-tipping fires at the Travellers' site in Granton.

00:56Residents at Waterfront Avenue said Travellers regularly set fire to fly-tipping items

01:01and fear that the fumes are toxic.

01:04A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said,

01:07Our response in incident management is intelligence-based

01:10and takes into account that on some occasions controlled burning is reported.

01:15SFRS remain an active partner in supporting a multi-agency partnership approach

01:19relating to this matter.

01:20The proposals for 3 South Clerk Street were submitted in May

01:34and approved by the Council's Planning Department on July 23rd.

01:39The application site is a vacant mid-terrace ground floor commercial unit

01:42within a four-storey row of tenements

01:44situated in the Southside Conservation Area.
