Alien - ET Truck - Thousands of specialised LED lights have been used to transform a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban into a light show on wheels. TJ Dickenson, of Titusville, Florida, is behind the pimped-out truck, which he refers to as the ‘Boom X’. It features custom LED lights that respond differently to bass, mids, and treble – creating a fully unique light show. TJ, who has been customising trucks since the mid-90s, told Barcroft TV: “I did all this myself. There is no truck or car in the automobile world that’s done to this magnitude.

00:00I did all this myself. I designed it myself and actually in this particular
00:05situation there's no truck or car or Iron Mode wheel in a custom world that's to
00:12this magnitude. What got me into cars is I always see these low riders with the
00:21booming systems and that's what I wanted so that's the goal that I achieved. I'm
00:26TJ Dickinson, I'm the owner of Boom X. It's a 07 Chevy Suburban. The size of the
00:35rims are a 32 inch three-piece Ford G-Autos. I have six ground zero 15 subwoofers and
00:42there's 24 10s in there right now. Well my main passion is to go out and do car shows.
00:56There's a couple of thousand LEDs in this truck. All right what we got going on here
01:05is we have the LEDs and the steering wheel all built in, custom-made steering wheel. We
01:11also have the LEDs on the seats chase all through the whole thing. We also have a
01:16custom-made headliner that also has LEDs chasing through simultaneously. And then
01:22we have the custom, the iPad here that does all my music. I have a processor, I don't even
01:30have a radio, I have a processor that does high resolution Bluetooth-ing. One of my main features
01:36to where I haven't seen done to this magnitude is where we cut the fenders completely off,
01:42we stretched them, we raised them, and we welded them back on there. When I first bought
01:48it and it was stock I probably took it to 100 but now I don't take it over 75 on the highway
01:55just because of the tires. These speakers are actually so big and heavy this door probably
02:02weighs about at least 300 pounds. Basically this whole entire setup is set for a super clean
02:11look and a great sound obviously. There's actually tweeters behind each one of these tans that protrude
02:19through these speakers. It's extremely loud but more importantly as being loud it's crystal clear
02:28like a symphony.
02:41I've had the truck almost two years now. Mainly took the longest was the customization of the fenders
02:49and the paint because it took six months to do that. And then everything else came in stages of course.
02:56Somebody offered me 65 for it. No I think he said 70. And I was like I'll think about it and I'll call you back.
03:07I just couldn't do it. Get somebody to seriously get out here. Here's $100,000 for your truck.
03:13I would have to think about it. I go to shows where you want to go cruising on the weekend
03:18or I just need some bass in my life. I'll just go for a drive whenever and just turn the stereo up as loud as I can
03:26and just enjoy the music.
