00:39it turns out that they're also victim and corporate, respectively.
00:43Due to a misunderstanding, Toshihiko poisons his bride-to-be out of revenge.
00:48Despite this, Sayori decides it's all good, and decides to go ahead with the engagement.

00:56Something tells us their honeymoon is going to involve a lot of police tape.

01:01Number 19. Peter and Luvelia
01:13Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time
01:16We're not saying that Luvelia is the most interesting or well-developed character out there,
01:21but even as a narrative tool, she does not deserve to go through this.
01:26Because the plot said so, Peter just can't help but find himself getting raunchy with every monster girl he encounters.
01:33This contrived cycle of him meeting a new lover each episode, and always ending up in some manner of horizontal refreshments, gets old quickly.
01:47Mainly due to how he keeps stating his love for Luvelia.
01:51Dude, either cut her loose, or keep it in your pants.
01:54There is no middle ground here.

02:0118. Kou and Nina
02:03Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory
02:06We won't pretend that the Gundam franchise isn't filled to the brim with broken couples and tragic endings,
02:13but even by those metrics, what Kou and Nina have is confusing, confounding, and quite honestly, he probably would have been better off dating his mobile suit.

02:32Despite things starting off rocky, Kou and Nina start to become closer,
02:37until she suddenly reveals she used to be intimate with the resident bad guy, Gato.

02:52She's so conflicted about these feelings, she goes out of her way to help him escape.

03:07No, 17. Kazuya and Ruka Rent a Girlfriend
03:11Honestly, we'd love to say that Kazuya shouldn't be allowed near women in general,
03:35but among the unlucky members of his harem that have filtered in and out of his life,
03:40what he has with Ruka is by far the most toxic.
03:44For one thing, their relationship is built on blackmail, with Ruka forcing Kazuya into their entanglement.
03:50Throwing her forcing herself onto him, as well as using his connection to Chizuru as leverage,
04:00and she paints an undesirable portrait.
04:03Not easy to do when the guy she supposedly likes is also reviled by just about everyone.
04:09Love triangles are a messy business,
04:23but what do you expect when you bring Hulk Vampire Bishounen into the mix?
04:27We have nothing against them,
04:29it's just that if this series had to give us a romantic rival for Zero to battle for Yuki's heart,
04:35we'd rather it be anyone but Kaname.
04:37Do me the honor of dancing with me.
04:40We're not sure what's worse,
04:41the fact that he wants to be both a big brother figure and head lover,
04:45or that they're actually related by ancestry.
04:48That's twice the blood-related cringe for the price of one.

04:57Akamega Kill
04:59The newest addition to the Night Raid certainly knows how to earn the attention of the ladies,
05:04but in this case, it's probably to his detriment.
05:07From the get-go, Mine sees Tatsumi as a burden
05:10and not worthy of joining their elite assassin group.
05:14This pestering, teasing, and ridiculing goes on all throughout their tenure,
05:18only for her to confess her love during her death scene.
05:26There's so little chemistry here that even as death seems like a more logical choice.
05:33Seriously, where did this come from?
05:35I'm going to talk to you in my room.
05:36I'm going to talk to you together.
05:38Number 14. Yuki and Yuno
05:41Future Diary
05:42Stringing along a stalker with yandere tendencies
05:50and a penchant for axes?
05:52What could go wrong?
05:54While she may appear sweet and innocent on the outside,
05:57Yuno is actually a psychopath
05:59whose only goal in life is ensuring her and Yuki's survival
06:03by killing off the rest of the future diary holders,
06:06as well as anyone else Yuki happens to have contact with.
06:09And somehow, she still comes out rosier than her hubby of choice.
06:19We're not sure we've seen a more pathetic, morally bankrupt,
06:23and unlikable protagonist than Yuki,
06:25to the extent we're actively cheering for him to get an axe to the face.
06:29Truly a match written in the stars.
06:32Number 13. Natsuo, Hina, and Rui
06:35Domestic Girlfriend
06:37It's a sacred anime commandment.
06:40Thou shall not crush on thy teacher
06:42and then immediately hook up with a random classmate,
06:45lest both end up as your stepsisters.
06:48I have a request, but...
06:51Is it okay?
06:52Huh?
06:53Yeah, I'm fine, but...
06:56Because that's exactly what happens to Natsuo.
06:58Turns out both his dream woman and recent conquest
07:01are siblings in real life,
07:03leading to them being bound together
07:06as one family after his father remarries.
07:09Naturally, things go off the rails from there.
07:12Whether you're comparing their dismal handling of an absurd situation
07:15or how Hina really shouldn't be breaking beds with his students,
07:19this is a dumpster fire triple threat
07:21that is hilarious to watch burn.
07:23Just because she was created to become a tool
07:35to be used in the Fourth Holy Grail War
07:37doesn't mean she deserved to be blanked by her supposed husband.
07:41Despite the two of them marrying and conceiving a child together,
07:49Kuritsugu is not exactly the best partner,
07:52so he's lucky Irisvale's love for him is so unconditional.
07:56Then, of course, there's the whole sacrificing her
07:58to become the vessel of the Grail,
08:00not to mention the little fling he had with Maya.
08:03Jeez, even Saber is a better gentleman.

08:15isn't just a mass murderer with a messiah complex.
08:18He's also a jerk when it comes to women.

08:22Misa was infatuated with Light
08:24to the point where it becomes almost mindless worship,
08:28eager to help him on his crusade of death.
08:30You'd think he'd be kind of happy to have a companion like her,
08:33but no, to Kira, all she is is a tool
08:36that he can easily manipulate.
08:38He even considered eventually killing her
08:41in order to cover his own back.
08:43Oh yeah, and to top it off,
08:44he cheated on her with another woman
08:46who he promised to make his goddess.
08:49Smooth.

09:03To be honest,
09:03we're not sure who is more ill-suited for who.
09:06Goku, even after all these years,
09:08still has no comprehension of what marriage means
09:11except giving his wife the occasional child.
09:14Chi-Chi, on the other hand,
09:15has a temper that could probably scare Frieza
09:17and for some reason tries to constantly change
09:20the nature of her hubby
09:22who, again, is an alien raised in the woods
09:25who is driven by combat.
09:27They could not be further apart,
09:29but neither are really putting in the effort
09:31when it comes to compromise.
09:33There's really no excuse after seeing
09:35how well Vegeta and Bulma work as a pair.

09:48Sorry, Narumi, this one's all on you, bro.
09:51We can't fault you
09:52when it comes to falling for such a beautiful colleague,
09:55but when you learned about Akane's habits,
09:57you really should have flown the coop.
09:59By her own admission,
10:12Akane loves the thrill of leading guys on,
10:14dumping them on the fly,
10:16and holds very little regard for commitment.
10:19She's even gone all the way with one of her students.
10:21It's in nature and she's happy with it.
10:24I mean, fair enough.

11:28Well, they got the sour part right,
11:35because there is nothing sweet about these two.
11:38The stepsister angle is odd enough,
11:40but given the medium,
11:41it's nothing new by this point.
11:43The real issue actually comes from Mei,
11:46who is way, way too forceful with her feelings for Yuzu.
11:49There you go,
11:54there is a lot of unwarranted
11:55and unwanted intimate scenes.
11:58It's probably one of the most problematic Yuri couplings out there,
12:01and comes across as more derogatory
12:03than it does erotic.
12:05Yuzu should probably see someone about this.

13:39with another girl,
13:41then another,
13:42and another,
13:43and,
13:43well, you get the idea.
13:45Granted,
13:46she could have walked away from this all,
13:48but no,
13:49stabbing him to death
13:50was the only logical thing to do,
13:53apparently.
13:53I'm so happy to be the only one of the two.

14:00Sanji's father
14:02is the worst.
14:04There's no other way around it,
14:05and that unfortunately
14:07extends to the relationship

14:10Caring not for emotions,

14:30Judge went out of his way
14:31to ensure his children
14:32would become soulless powerhouses,
14:34and for that to happen,
14:36he forced Sora
14:37to undergo experimental surgery.
14:39Her attempts to undo this
14:41combined with the strain of it all
14:42ultimately claimed her life.
14:44Not the judge seemed to care all that much.

14:55Takumi and Hachi
14:57Nana
14:58The highs and lows
15:01of the relationships
15:02of both women named Nana
15:04form the entire identity
15:05of this series,
15:07and while Nana Kei,
15:08affectionately known as Hachi,
15:10seems the far more bubblier
15:11of the two,
15:12her taste in one particular man
15:14becomes incredibly questionable.
15:16Takumi is both cavalier
15:18in his attitude towards commitment
15:20as well as extremely possessive.
15:22If he's not cheating on Hachi,
15:24then he's taking things
15:25to a non-consensual degree.
15:27Twice, actually.
15:28It's just a shame
15:29that Hachi ended up
15:31so caught up in his web
15:32that she stayed with him
15:33in spite of it all.
15:46Number 2.
15:48Endeavor and Rey
15:49My Hero Academia
15:51We certainly appreciate the steps the second greatest hero has and will continue to take to atone for his past.
15:59That being said, oh boy, Endeavor truly put his family through hell for no other reason than pride and a dangerously vast inferiority complex.
16:14In order to topple All Might, Endeavor sought perfection through the quirks of his children.
16:20His treatment of them not only left deep emotional resentment among his progeny, but led one of them to turn to the dark side.
16:33All the while, his wife was mentally broken from having to bear so many children from a man she had grown to fear and loathe.
16:41There is no easy fix for the Todoroki family.

17:28Something that doesn't seem to stop them from going all-out and trying to get married.
17:39Throw in the fact that Kiyosuke was surrounded by so many better options and you have anime's grossest relationship.
