French artist James Colomina, known for provocative red installations, said the piece, titled “Make America Grime Again,” symbolizes disruption and decay. Installed secretly near the iconic News Building, the work contrasts Trump’s legendary New York roots with a grotesque sewer image. The White House responded mockingly, suggesting the artist “go back to the drawing board—or art school.”
