00:00Marjane, congrats, what a win, what a teamwork. Can you speak about your feelings in the final?
00:07Well, actually the whole race, of course it was short, so we knew it was going to be nervous.
00:14Sometimes just spread out, but still you felt the tension in the bunch.
00:20And yeah, we wanted to do a lead out as a team before the final descent, before the corner,
00:28to put Pauline and me in a good position. And the girls did such an amazing job.
00:34And then Pauline took a gap at 5-400 meters to go, and she had actually a really good gap.
00:43So yeah, at that moment of course I looked around and who was coming.
00:48And then I saw Kim LaCour coming, and she really had a good sprint, so I went with her.
00:56And yeah, I didn't know if Pauline was still hanging in for the finish.
01:02But in the end I saw her drop in the speed, so it was a sprint with Kim and then we just catch Pauline,
01:08which is of course a bit a double feeling. But I'm so happy with the team effort and we could make it.
01:14That's why you launched the sprint at the very last moment.
01:17Yeah, yeah. Because of course if Pauline can keep it, that's also good.
01:21So we're here as a team and we just, yeah, to start off like this, that's amazing.
01:27You've won almost everything in your career. How special is this one?
01:31Really special. It's the Tour de France, it's the first day.
01:36Yeah, you can't really describe what it means.
01:41And yeah, as a bonus to take the yellow jersey, I couldn't even think about that up front.
01:46So yeah, I'm really thankful for the team and yeah, especially to Pauline here on the final climb.
01:53Thank you very much.
01:55Thank you very much.
