00:00Let's make a simple and cute baby shower cake topper.
00:03I found an image on Cricut Design Space and used the offset tool to create these layers.
00:09I applied my cardstock to my Cricut Joy Extra mat and used my brayer to make sure it was stuck down.
00:14And then I loaded it into my machine and let it do all the work for me.
00:19I make sure to mix different types of colours and textures of cardstock to create some dimension.
00:25I roll back my mat to remove my images.
00:27Then using foam pad I began to build my cake topper.
00:32You can change the colours of this project to fit the theme of your baby shower.
00:37And you can make a cake topper like this in less than half an hour.
00:42Once I did the first layers I then added all of the backings to create this really cool 3D effect.
00:48And then went in with some glue to apply some embellishments.
00:52Lastly I added my stick.
00:54And there you have it. A simple but effective baby shower cake topper.
