00:06vowing the U.S. will take the lead in the AI race.
00:10America is the country that started the AI race,
00:15and as President of the United States I'm here today to declare that America is going to win it.
00:22The orders are part of his administration's AI Action Plan,
00:26which is aimed at leveraging the country's advantages in the field.
00:30They include loosening environmental regulations, setting rules on chip exports,
00:35and addressing political bias in AI technologies.
00:38The plan also focuses on reducing AI-related red tape,
00:42speeding up permits and energy access for data centers and semiconductor fabs,
00:47and encouraging other countries to adopt U.S. AI technology over that from China.
