00:00Well, yeah, I was doing a pace at the bottom of Fanteau and then Valentin attacked for my wheel quite early and I kept riding really a solid pace but the other guys were overpacing a bit, I had the idea and I knew if I do this I blow up completely so I know really my body and I did really just a time trial against myself and suddenly I saw a lot of guys blowing up and I was passing everybody.
00:30And then suddenly 1k to go, I saw the head of the race. It gave me an extra push to go really full, full, full to the head of the race but I was pretty cooked so I was not able to do a sprint anymore and Valentin said to me he was feeling really good so it was easy for me to immediately without hesitating take the lead of the group, make a good pace towards the last 200 meters, 150 meters.
01:00And then Healy went, Valentin followed the wheel and then did an amazing sprint.
01:08What does it feel like to be part of the team with a Frenchman who's won a stage like today on Ventoux?
01:14Yeah, it's incredible, especially from where we come. Of course we did a good tour but it was really with a lot of ups and downs with our leader Emco going out was a bitter pill to swallow so it was really hard to change the mindset but today we really did that.
01:40Three guys in the breakaway, one guy burying himself on the flat, two guys staying in the wheels and then doing the perfect job on Mont Ventoux.
01:50So more perfect than this is not possible I think.
01:54Thank you for all the time.
02:06Thank you for that.
