Under the banner of Mega Surya Productions, the film is produced by A.M. Rathnam and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. After almost five years in production, and overcoming multiple delays including the pandemic and creative hurdles, the film is finally set for a massive release.
In the press meet, Pawan Kalyan shared interesting insights:
He revealed that he stepped forward only because of his deep respect for producer A.M. Rathnam, calling him one of the few who brought regional cinema to a national platform.
Pawan candidly admitted he doesn’t know how to promote movies and called himself an “accidental actor.”
He said, “This is my first official film press meet. I always shied away from talking about films, but for Rathnam garu, I couldn’t say no.”
The actor also recalled how he utilized his long-trained martial arts skills for the film’s action-packed climax, which took 57 days to shoot.
The movie revolves around the fictional journey of the Kohinoor diamond from the banks of Krishna River to the Hyderabad Sultanate, combining rich history and action-packed storytelling.
Pawan Kalyan’s heartfelt words clearly reflect his commitment, guilt over delays, and deep emotional connect with the project.
