The Good Girl is a 2002 American comedy-drama film that tells the story of Justine Last, a bored and unfulfilled woman working at a discount store in small-town Texas. She's stuck in a loveless marriage with her husband Phil, a house painter who spends most of his time getting high with his friend Bubba. Justine's life takes a turn when she meets Holden, a new coworker who identifies with the protagonist of "The Catcher in the Rye." They start an affair, but things quickly spiral out of control, leading to blackmail, larceny, and lies.
