00:00Here's what's new. Spoke side-laced Xcel wheels instead of the cast alloys on the 400X.
00:07Metzeller Carou Street tires for better grip in loose terrain. Aluminium sump guard,
00:12engine bars, and handguards for that tough, ready-for-anything look.
00:17A small flyscreen and high-mounted front mudguard, color matched for extra flair.
00:22Blacked-out Triumph tank logo. Three color options, yellow, gray, and white.
00:29It's definitely a step up in terms of rugged appeal, perfect for urban riders who want that
00:33adventure-ready vibe, or weekend warriors looking to hit light trails without going full dirt bike.
00:39Not quite full-on off-road, and that's okay. Despite the scrambler looks, the XC doesn't go
00:46full enduro. The wheels are still 17-inch at the rear and 19-inch up front, so it's more road-biased
00:53than hardcore trail machine. But Triumph likely kept this setup to avoid jacking up the seat height,
00:59or overhauling the chassis, which would have pushed the price and made the bike less accessible.
01:05Still, with the 835mm seat height and a wet weight of 186kg, it strikes a nice balance. Friendly
01:14enough for beginners but fun enough for experienced riders who don't need the bulk of the Scrambler
01:19900 or 1200. Tech and features. All the good stuff's still here. Triumph didn't strip down
01:26the tech either. You still get. Ride-by-wire throttle. Switchable traction control. Off-road
01:34ABS mode. Analog speedo with LCD screen. USB-C charger. LED lighting, including DRL and integrated
01:43tail light. Add in 10,000-mile service intervals and a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty, and you've
01:50got a pretty low-maintenance package that still delivers on fun. Final thoughts. The new Scrambler
01:56400 XC is a smart move by Triumph. It keeps the mechanical simple and familiar but adds that extra
02:03rugged-edge people love in Scramblers. It's aimed at riders who want a stylish retro machine that can
02:09handle more than just city streets, without going full dirt bike or breaking the bank.
02:15And with over 20 factory accessories available at launch, there's plenty of room to personalize
02:21your ride too. As Triumph's chief commercial officer Paul Stroud put it, there's a clear global demand for
02:27this kind of bike. With its Scrambler attitude and light off-road capability, the XC should appeal to a
02:34whole new wave of riders looking for fun, function, and a little adventure, all wrapped in one solid
02:40looking package. Triumph has just taken the wraps off their all-new Scrambler 400 XC, and if you're
02:47into rugged retro bikes with a dash of modern tech, you'll want to keep reading. It's essentially an
02:53off-road-inspired version of their already popular Scrambler 400 X, but with tougher looks, some smart
03:00upgrades, and a little more attitude. Set to hit UK dealers in September 2025 with a price tag of
03:07£6,545, this new XC version is £600 more than the standard Scrambler 400 X. But you do get a solid
03:17upgrade for that extra bit of cash, both in terms of styling and off-road readiness. Same reliable heart,
03:24new tough style. Under the skin, the Scrambler 400 XC shares its core with its sibling, including the
03:32same 398 cubic centimeters liquid-cooled TR series single-cylinder engine. This €5-plus compliant
03:40motor is also used in the Speed 400 Roadster and pumps out a respectable 39.5 brake horsepower at
03:478,000 rpm and 27.7 lb.ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox,
03:58torque-assist clutch, and a setup that's friendly for both new and seasoned riders.
04:03Suspension and frame, no changes here. There are no mechanical changes to the suspension,
04:09which means you still get $43 million big piston forks with 150 millimeters of travel up front,
04:16and a gas-charged rear monoshock with the same stroke. The chassis is the same tubular steel
04:23hybrid frame, keeping the bike sturdy and confidence-inspiring. So, what's new then?
04:29Where the Scrambler 400 XC stands out is in the details.
04:33Triumph has taken the original design and beefed it up for those who want a little more bite in their ride.
04:46going to play, which lenguen me also and usually is going to be anywhere
04:49but the obser and the tire 번째古는 design is more adequate to the현ical
04:52and the same-b Grenier. That's very nice when the sensory algorithm is still
04:55underdraged and the sameft extension. So not the minor controls or NOT
04:57as if there is a high difficulty but the corresponding newer combo of the barrel
