00:00My current job is a 15 Tango aircraft maintainer but I also fly with a flight crew and I do crew
00:21chief duties in the back of the helicopter. My wife is in the Army she's also a crew chief. She
00:26flies with 382 out of the 82nd Airborne and she's in the same boat I am progressing and trying to get
00:31to where she's a full-time crew. Outside the Army I used to work for a oil and fuel research company.
00:36I did a large engine testing and mechanical repair of like large engines and like to test fixtures
00:43and things like that. My next step is gonna be to stay in the reserve to be able to keep what I
00:51already started going with the aviation going away and the reserve had to laterally transfer into
00:57something else to be able to stay with the Army because I really enjoy being there. So both of us
01:03being in the Army me not being full-time and her being full-time there are stressors with it but
01:07at the same time like if you're doing your job and you're acclimated to the Army it's not hard you just
01:14have to understand that I know she has responsibilities and I have responsibilities and we both work
01:18together to meet in the middle on those things. My next goal is to find somewhere to fly and make
01:22sure that I can do my job there so it's even though we're getting shut down it's still important to go
01:26through the training and do everything the way you're supposed to do it and just be a good all-around soldier.
