Handri Neeva - హంద్రీనీవా ఫేజ్‌ 1 కాల్వల విస్తరణ పనులు పూర్తి కావడంతో గురువారం ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నీరు విడుదల చేశారు. జలహారతి ఇచ్చి నంద్యాల జిల్లా నందికొట్కూరు మండలం మల్యాల పంపింగ్‌ స్టేషన్‌లో రెండు మోటార్లను ఆన్‌ చేశారు. నీటి విడుదలతో రాయలసీమకు తాగు, సాగునీటి కష్టాలు తీరనున్నాయి. 12 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత సీమకు 40 టీఎంసీల నీరు అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చింది.


Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has officially released water through the Handri-Neeva Phase-1 canal expansion, marking a significant moment for the drought-prone Rayalaseema region.

From the Malyala Pumping Station in Nandyal district, the Chief Minister switched on two motors and offered Jalaharathi to initiate the flow. With this, 40 TMCs of water is now available — a development happening after 12 long years!
