SpaceX Dragon Moved To New Parking Spot On Space Station

00:00So Dragon will reach that waypoint 2. In just a few moments we should hear that

00:06confirmation and we'll hear that they're standing by for that hold and

00:10then once ready Dragon will begin its final approach and that final approach

00:15process takes about four minutes and during that period we will hear the

00:19call out for CHOP which stands for Crew Hands Off Point and this call occurs

00:24when the spacecraft is about two meters away from the docking port.

00:30And just a minute ago on your screen you could actually see the docking target

00:38which is that crosshair target on the International Space Station and Dragon is

00:46continuing to approach in closer it's about three meters away so in one meter

00:51we will hear that call for CHOP or Crew Hands Off Point.

00:54And we heard that call for CHOP and just standing by for initial contact and capture.

01:10One meter.

01:14Freedom, SpaceX on the big loop, soft capture complete.

01:44And at 6.25 a.m. Central, 7.25 a.m. Eastern, we have confirmation of initial contact and capture.

01:59At that time, the International Space Station and Dragon were flying approximately 260

02:04statute miles over the south part of Brazil.
