00:00In a recent update to the ongoing legal dispute between Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni and his
00:06production company, a federal judge has now ruled in Blake's favor.
00:10According to E! News, Judge Louis J. Lehman granted the actress request for a protective
00:16order on July 14, three days after a legal team filed the motion.
00:21As per the court documents, Baldoni and his Wayfarer studios are now required to reveal
00:26the names of everyone attending Lively's deposition, scheduled for July 17.
00:31On the other hand, Blake must make arrangements for Baldoni's team to have a dedicated computer
00:37and access to printing and copying facilities at the location she chooses for the deposition.
00:42Lively's lawyers argued that Baldoni's team previously refused Ms. Lively's reasonable
00:48request to coordinate on basic logistics.
00:51In the July 11 filing, they stated,
00:53Defendants have not denied that their intent is to manufacture a harassing publicity stunt
00:58by requiring Ms. Lively to parade through paparazzi, adding concerns over unknown attendees such
01:04as media or influences potentially being present.
01:08Despite Ms. Lively's repeated efforts to confer, the filing continued.
01:13Defendants have refused to address these concerns and have responded only with their insistence that
01:18they alone control all logistics and security issues.
01:22With the court granting Blake Lively some relief through this protective order, the tension
01:28between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni continues to draw attention as both sides prepare for
01:33the next legal step.
