03:28man, it felt like coming home, yet with a whole new fire. Hobbs is still the same no-nonsense,
03:35justice-driven badass, but this time, there's more grit, more emotion, and yeah, some serious
03:42unfinished business. We dive deep into Hobbs' roots in Samoa again, but also into his days
03:48before the DSS. And oh god, there are moments in this film where you, let's see a side of
03:54Hobbs, Hobbs you've never seen before. I'm talking raw, vulnerable, furious, and yes, still tossing
04:00people across the room like ragdolls. You know, shooting took us across the world, and I mean
04:06around the damn globe. We kicked off in London at Liveden Studios, and also filmed some crazy
04:11chase sequences in Glasgow. Then, it was off to Abu Dhabi for the high-stakes skyscraper drop.
04:17Yes, we did a scene where I'd jump out of a building without a parachute. It's ouch. And
04:22of course, we brought it back to Hawaii to shoot the new family compound scenes in Dot,
04:27a remote village that took three weeks just to rig for stunts and lighting. And trust me,
04:32you've never seen action like this under palm trees, working with Jason Statham again. Oh,
04:38come on, that guy is a machine. He's precise, hilarious, and we just feed off each other's
04:43energy. It's like fire and ice. I'm the hammer. He's the blade. But in this movie, oh boy, there's
04:48tension. Real tension. Hobbs and Shaw are forced to go undercover in enemy territory, and let's just
04:53say the enemy is someone from Hobbs' past. Someone who knows everything about him. Yeah, that's your
05:00spoiler right there. You know, and speaking of cast, Vanessa Kirby is back as Hattie Shaw, and she
05:06absolutely crushed it. She did her own stunts, again, and I swear, she moves like a panther.
05:12We also brought in a surprise legend from the Fast Universe, but I ain't spoiling that one. When I
05:17saw him on set, I just went, no way. You're here? And he said, let's roll, brother. Goosebumps,
05:24man. Freaking goosebumps. And then there's the villain. Oh my God.
05:27A cold-blooded mercenary leader, ex-CIA, who believes Hobbs betrayed him years ago. The
05:34psychological games this guy plays, wow, played by a powerhouse actor, and he brought something
05:40dark, twisted, yet magnetic. Every scene with him made my spine tingle. You know. Now, directing
05:47this masterpiece, the one and only David Leach came back and took it to a whole new level.
05:52The choreography? Insane. He choreographed a 10-minute single-take warehouse fight that took
05:58six weeks to prep. Six weeks. Let me tell you, I walked out of that scene with two cracked ribs,
06:05a dislocated thumb, and a grin the size of Mount Rushmore. You know, but look, it's not just about
06:11explosions and fight scenes, although we have plenty of those. Hobbs and Shaw 2 is about family,
06:17redemption, and realizing that sometimes your biggest enemy is yourself. It's a story about
06:23sacrifice and legacy. And trust me, when that final scene hits, oh man, tissues ready, because
06:29you'll feel it. You know, the crew was magnificent, from the camera ops to the stunt doubles, makeup,
06:34lighting, the guys rigging wires on cliffs. This was a team effort with heart. We had over 400 crew
06:40members across five countries, and not once did we lose momentum. The energy was electric. Every day,
06:47felt like game day, you know. So yeah, Hobbs and Shaw 2 coming to theaters worldwide very soon.
