Transcript
00:00She rode her horse as she did evening along the isolated beach
00:10But a storm with a springtide crept around them and swept them both out of reach
00:20She found a cave to seek some refuge, but a rolling wave snatched her away
00:31She cried for help, but no one heard her, and just the sea could hear her say
00:42Mourn not my face, but let me be secure
00:52In this lone cavern by the sea
00:58Let the mighty ocean roar
01:03And kiss my lips forevermore
01:12Her lover searched, but he could not find her
01:20There was no trace anywhere
01:24He sensed a presence there beside him
01:31And left a memory of her there
01:35He carved an image of her beauty
01:40On the walls of that eerie cave
01:46And underneath he wrote a poem
01:52For here was her lonely grave
01:57Mourn not my face
02:02But let me be secure
02:07In this lone cavern by the sea
02:13Let the mighty ocean roar
02:18And kiss my lips forevermore
02:23When people pass this sanctuary
02:39And read the poem carved inside
02:44The words ring out
02:46The words ring out like a ghostly echo
02:51That carry out on the ocean tide
02:55Mourn not my face
03:00Mourn not my face
03:02But let me be secure
03:05In this lone cavern by the sea
