00:00are you planning to travel no matter if it is Mexico with its beautiful Caribbean
00:29sea or traveling to Japan to take in nature's natural beauty you will get more out of your
00:44dollar if you are aware of when to exchange your currency when is the best time to exchange
00:55your currency after traveling for the past few years to Mexico and Southeast Asia I have
01:06noticed a trend of when the exchange rates are high and when they are low no matter which
01:12country you are visiting after looking at the charts over the years I have noticed that
01:21the dollar is normally at its lowest rates starting in March and lasting all the way to September
01:31from September to the middle of March the dollar is normally at its highest rates
01:36with it being at its strongest normally from November to the end of February
01:40this is because during the winter holiday season more US people not only have a tendency to travel
01:52more but also to spend more causing the dollar to go up in value if you can arrange your trip at that
02:00time or buy your currency in advance this will be the best time to do your exchange
02:05if you plan on staying for a long period of time from a month or into years you may want to consider
02:15exchanging at these times in higher volumes to carry you out through the year
02:22you will have more bang for your dollar compared to exchanging at lower rates
