00:02Even as we continue to report on the worrying situation of bridges across the country,
00:08now shocking visuals have surfaced from Jharkhand's Khunti district,
00:12where school children are being forced to cross a collapsed bridge over the Banai River
00:16using a fragile bamboo ladder.
00:19The bridge collapsed on June 19th after heavy rainfall,
00:22leaving locals stranded and students with no safe route to school.
00:26This is not just the collapse of concrete, but of credibility.

00:51The bridge over the Banai River in Khunti collapsed on June 19th following heavy rainfall.
00:57Since then, traffic has been diverted through other long routes.
01:03The villagers, including school children and daily workers,
01:07find it easier to use a ladder and cross the severely damaged bridge in Khunti district
01:12instead of taking a detour.
01:13Some of them were also seen cautiously walking on another damaged section of the bridge.

04:04When Harsh Gupta is not helping his father at his Panipuri stall in Kalyan, he is busy in his studies.
04:11He does not use a mobile phone, but instead refers to the notes stuck on the wall in one corner

05:02He has cracked the joint entrance examination and secured a seat at the IIT Roorkee.
05:10But his journey hasn't been easy.
05:14He could not appear for class 11th during pandemic due to his health condition.
05:19In class 12th, he again fell in.
05:21Harsh even opted out of an NIT admission last year as his dream was to join the IIT.
05:40But he just did not give up.
05:42All through this, his parents stood by him.
05:45Santosh, who has been selling Panipuri for 20 years, is overjoyed with the success of Harsh.
