Taiwanin armeija harjoittelee Abrams-panssarivaunuilla simuloidussa PLA-hyökkäyksessä

Taiwanin asevoimat julkaisivat uusia kuvia sotaharjoituksesta Han Kuang-41, joissa neljä M1A2T Abrams -panssarivaunua osallistui ampumaharjoituksiin Kengzikoun harjoituskentällä.  Ensimmäistä kertaa taiwanilaiset käyttivät amerikkalaisvalmisteisia vaunuja vuotuisissa harjoituksissa. Harjoituksissa ammuttiin sekä liikkeessä että paikaltaan, realistisissa taisteluskenaarioissa.  Yhteensä ammuttiin 19 evävakaimilla varustettua harjoitusammusta maaleihin, jotka simuloivat Kiinan kansan vapautusarmeijan käyttämää Type 05 -amfibioajoneuvoa ja Type 99 -taistelupanssarivaunua.
