00:27Y hemos tenido la oportunidad de platicar con cualquier cantidad de figuras del entretenimiento

00:32que han estado dando esas mejores producciones que ya las traemos en la memoria.

00:37Y estamos felices de empezar con Diego Luna por Andor, verdaderamente un éxito por donde lo veas, ¿no?

00:44Por donde lo veas como serie, pero también por donde lo veas como actor,

00:48como figura y como líder de opinión también ahora.

00:52Veamos qué platicó Diego Luna contigo en su momento, Andor 2 y última.

00:56Un poco justamente cómo ha ido transicionando de la primera a esta segunda,

02:08Jesse Armstrong has said that this story is about exploring the almost unconscious sense

02:18What was working with Jesse's script and what might you say,

02:22yes, I want to be part of this story?

02:24Well, I love obviously Jesse, his work he's done.

02:29I'm immediately excited because there's no one like him and his ability to examine,

02:34and I think the world around us, and then distort it and twist it and filter it

02:39into something that we can watch as entertainment is a very unique skill.

02:44You know, not a lot of people can do that with the world around them.

02:49And again, here, it's just like taking this, these four people, this type of power,

02:55this type of thing you might have heard about or seen or read in magazines about

03:02or are afraid of.

03:02When you don't have too much time to reconsider or to second guess yourself,

03:06it's the best because sometimes that first or second, you know, instinct is the best one.

03:34se los dejamos porque ha sido un gusto ser parte de la historia de los Thunderbolts.

03:40Both of your characters are on a different point of the road of redemption,

03:46but it's quite different for each of them, right?

03:49Would you agree with this description, Sebastián?

03:52Yes.

03:53I think it's different than the other movies that we've seen thus far,

03:59and I think it's certainly the first time that, not maybe my character,

04:05but maybe Walker or some of the other characters are hitting that point of questioning,

04:11you know, and trying to find redemption or a new path forward or, in a way.

04:16But, yeah, it is a different film in the sense that you don't usually have

04:22this many characters that are not typically sort of heroic.

04:28One of the things that this year really marked out and changed paradigms

04:34was Adolescencia, this series británica de Netflix.

05:10What are your thoughts?

05:12The script of episode three was a bit of a shock,

05:16you know, especially to my family as well.

05:18So that was an episode where, you know,

05:22it was the first one I did, so I had to prove myself

05:24that I was the right part for Jamie, and hopefully I did.

05:28He has a unique ability to be able to dive into character

05:31amaze himself within the situation and jump straight back out.

05:36Do you know what I mean?

05:36He's not like a deep sea diver,

05:38and he's not like many actors where you need to decompress in many ways.

06:16What did it mean to you to play a character who challenged the way society judge women for aging?

06:23And what do you think it is important to tell these kind of stories today?

06:27Well, I think it's very important to be telling these stories.

06:30This is why we came back to do, and just like that,

06:33was to, you know, really be able to illuminate what women's lives are like after 50,

06:39and that life is not over, and that all kinds of different challenges

06:43and unexpected things are going to happen, and life doesn't end, you know?

06:47It's like an ongoing mystery life.

06:49This is how it is for everyone.

06:51And I love that Charlotte is continuing, and she's still her, obviously.

06:55She's very, very much true to the essence of her that we've known for all these almost 30 years.

07:01Yeah, I mean, I think it's a wonderful part of our original show

07:05and part of the new show is that our writers have always allowed these characters to age,

07:13first of all, not trying to hide our aging, but also to change

07:19and evolve the way people do in life.

07:22And in the environment of the Platinum, we had the opportunity to talk with Rodrigo Prieto.

07:28He's directed Pedro Páramo, we know that he's one of the best photographers in the history of our country.

07:33And, also, he's a guy, well...

07:35A great ally of the Scorsese, Barbie.

07:53Do you create a industry that supports between the different countries and different talents?

08:01For me, it's very symbolic to be here with Pedro Páramo.

08:05Because, at the end of the day, what happens in Pedro Páramo is the result of the conquist of Spain,

08:12of the territory mexican.

08:13And, well, the encomienda, ¿no?

08:17To the system that was planned, ¿no?

08:19A raíz of the conquist.

08:21Pedro Páramo is the result of that, which is the Mexican Revolution,

08:25which is that historical moment in the novel.

08:28And, to be here in Madrid, with this story,

08:32compartiéndolo with many thousands of people of Latin America, of Spain and of Portugal,

08:40es muy bonito, es como muy simbólico, porque es ahí, sí, somos el resultado de un conflicto muy fuerte, ¿no?

08:49Y una conquista, pero también hay una hermandad y hay una similitud cultural.

08:54Entonces, pues creo que es muy importante reconocer eso y, pues, fomentarlo.

08:59Y sé que esta te gustó mucho y te sorprendió.

09:03Amé, amé, porque Viola Davis es una gran actriz.

09:06Diosa.

09:07Yo la admiro, todo lo que hace, una EGOT.

09:10Y, bueno, G20, verla como presidenta de los Estados Unidos en una cinta de acción,

09:15la verdad es que vale muchísimo la pena y esto es parte de lo que comenté.

09:18Yo creo que, por tantos años, acción movies fueron liderados por hombres.

09:23Pero me encanta ver a ti, no solo como presidenta de los Estados Unidos,

09:28pero también como una mujer que está conectada con su familia.

09:33¿Por qué es importante este personaje para ti,

09:35tanto en términos de la género, pero también en términos de quién es como persona?

09:39Bueno, creo que es exactamente lo que dijiste,

09:41que es un género que normalmente ha sido ocupado por hombres.

09:44Y luego llegó Sigourney Weaver y luego llegó Liam Neeson,

09:51que es de una edad determinada.

09:53Creo que tenemos que subvertir la narrativa.

10:52Sí, la verdad es que ha sido muy sorprendente la trayectoria de Harrison Ford.

11:01In your career,

11:02you have played iconic characters

11:04in stories like Star Wars,

11:06also Indiana Jones.

11:08What combines you to join the MCU

11:10and in particular take on the role of Ross?

11:16Well, I've read a script

11:18that seemed to have all of the characteristics

11:22of an entertainment.

11:24and in the case of my character,

11:28had an emotional story

11:30that I thought was significant.

11:33Something that I could attach my experience,

11:36my human experience with

11:37and interpret for the audience

11:39so that they could have the opportunity

11:45to have a human emotional connection

11:49to what I was telling them about

11:55with the aid of the story

11:58that I was telling them about the character.

12:00And that emotion is sometimes missing

12:07from action adventure films.

12:13But it's not missing from this one.

12:16There's a very strong emotional story

12:18for the character that I play to tell

12:20and that's what I really am looking for

12:22because that's the way we really connect

12:25with an audience, I think.
