00:00After the qualification of the 2026 AFC Women's Ancient Cup,
00:07it will become a Philippine women's national football team
00:11for the national team of ASEAN Women's MSIG Serenity Cup 2025
00:17from August 6-19 in Vietnam.
00:21It is a target of the Filipinas
00:23to defend their national championship
00:25in the ASEAN Women's Championship
00:27that they have committed noong 2022
00:30following a free meal against Thailand
00:33at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
00:35In the Philippines,
00:36at the head coach Mark Torcaso,
00:38he has a possible young core
00:41to our women's squad
00:43to be in the natural tournament.
00:47We're looking forward to that.
00:49It's probably going to be a little different
00:51in regards to our squad.
00:52There's going to be a lot of World Cup players
00:55unavailable because of their communities with club.
00:57So, you know, we're looking at probably bringing
00:58a really good young team
01:00with some players that will be available
01:02from our senior national team currently.
01:04So it's going to be a combination of both,
01:05but our intention will be to go there
01:07and do the absolute best that we can,
01:09obviously to try and defend our AFF
01:12from a couple of years ago,
01:13but we're also in preparation for our Asian Cup in Australia.
01:17So we will use the AFF as a way to see some players
01:20playing a senior level and really focusing
01:23on making sure we get a really good squad
01:24for the Asian Cup in Australia.
