Midsomer Murders Tony Carter Attempts to Attack Tom Barnaby Painted in Blood

Linda is up in the woods cleaning off a shoe and Tony Carter comes up and grabs her arm. Tony thinks someone is after him. Barnaby is walking nearby and Linda and Tony hide behind a tree. Linda says that Barnaby is the cop she talked to about the stolen bag. Barnaby finds an empty poloroid film packet. Tony picks up a thick branch and says he is going to "Sort him out." Suddenly a siren goes off. Barnaby leaves. Linda asks Tony if he is out of his mind. Tony asks if she told the police about the strongroom receipt. Linda says, of course she did, he told her to report it.
