00:07Yeah, it's really amazing. This 10th victory is something you never will forget.
00:13Just the team performance is incredible. I think we were there all day.
00:20All day I was very nervous, but we know today it just has to be our day and we have to be in the front.
00:29And yeah, we were there in the split. The team did amazing and in the end we just could use our strength, be there and finish it off.
00:40But it's amazing because there's the yellow jersey at the end. You don't talk about the yellow jersey, but did you have it in the back of your mind?
00:47Yeah, of course. I knew I had really good legs and the final two kilometers with all the spectators, all the people next to the fences.
00:58Yeah, it just gave me goosebumps. And yeah, I knew we just had to do it and my legs got some extra strength.
01:09Yeah, because of the adrenaline, it was riding through Lille and it was just an incredible feeling.
01:16Talk to us about the echelons. I mean, basically it's been tense for 120 kilometers. The speeds, all the teams going to the front, the crosswinds, the crashes, I mean it was a pretty hectic day.
01:30Yeah, it was all day a bit fighting to be there up front and the guys are amazing to keep us in the front, but I was always stressed for not a lot had happened.
01:39And then suddenly final 15 kilometers, it all opened up and the team was incredibly strong. I think everybody's on a really good level.
01:48And yeah, we just had a really great opportunity today and I'm so glad we took it.
01:54What does it mean for you to have the yellow jersey on your shoulders?
01:58Yeah, it's really, I cannot have dreamed about it. I already had a green jersey from two years ago.
02:08And then to have the yellow jersey hanging somewhere in my house in the next years, it's going to be amazing.
02:17We all know that confidence is also very important on a Tour de France for a sprinter to start off with a stage victory could lead out to several other successes.
02:27Yeah, of course the competition is really high and yeah, there's so many strong riders here and I knew we just had to be 100% focused and with all the guys that are amazing.
02:39And yeah, it was a hell of an opportunity and I'm so glad we took it.
