00:00hey everyone today i'm going to show you how to set up the key smart card how to charge it how to

00:11connect it to your phone and how to reset it if you need to the first thing we have to do is make

00:16sure that the key smart card is fully charged now in order to charge the key smart card you need a

00:23wireless charger like this one it's important to note that in order to charge the key smart card

00:29you need to have it in the correct position on the wireless charger for the key smart card you have to

00:34make sure that the key smart logo is facing up now watch this when i put it down facing down it is not

00:42charging at all but when i have it facing up like so this red light pops up that means it's charging

00:52as you can see i have the key smart card charging on this wireless charger and you can tell that it's

00:58charging because it has this red light indicator telling you that it is charging now when this

01:04turns green that means you have a full charge so you should know that it takes usually about an hour

01:12to charge the key smart card so just leave it on there until you see this red light turn green

01:18now that the light is green that means it's fully charged and you're ready to connect it now in order

01:23to connect your key smart card there's a little icon right here as you can see and you're gonna push

01:30five times and on the fifth push you're gonna hold it until you hear it make a little song it's gonna go

01:37like this one two three four five hold now it's ready to pair with your phone so open the apple find my app

01:48and then right here says devices push this little plus sign right here add other items searching

01:57and you wait for it to the key smart card is ready to connect push connect enter name i want to put a

02:04wallet choose an emoji why not i'm gonna do this one because it's nice and wacky now you just wait for

02:13the finish setup and now it is officially connected and as you can see right here it's with me and i can

02:23play the sound as well kind of cool and you can even do directions to help you find it now let's say for

02:36any reason you need to reset your card whether you need to attach it to a new item and you want to rename

02:43it or you got a new phone anything like that this is how you reset your key smart card all you need to do

02:51is open the find my app select your key smart card scroll down and select remove item and it will make a

03:01little song to show that it's going through the factory reset

03:14just like that and now it is fully reset and ready to

03:17reconnect to the same device or a different device whatever you need to do
