00:00:00Hello? Hello? Anybody home? Hey, think we're flying.
00:00:05Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're looking at the most despicable and rage-inducing characters in cinema history.
00:00:11We're including both heroes and villains for their hateable qualities,
00:00:14but annoying or simply grating characters like Jar Jar Binks don't make the cut.
00:00:19No, no, me's a stay. Me's a call Jar Jar Binks. Me's a your humble servant.
00:00:24That won't be necessary.
00:00:25Oh, but it is.
00:00:26Also, watch out for spoilers.
00:00:30Number 100. Justin Hammer. Iron Man 2.
00:00:33You know, we live in a world of grave threats. Threats that Mr. Stark will not always be able to foresee.
00:00:39To put it in simple terms, this guy's a douche.
00:00:43Hammer cuts every corner he can in his attempts to outshine Tony Stark.
00:00:46He's perfectly content breaking out murderous physicist Ivan Vanko just to strut on stage with his cringy little dance.
00:00:52Sarcastic, self-absorbed, and with a fragile ego, the antagonist spends the entire film wildly overestimating his own importance.
00:01:04Let me tell you something. Size does matter. Don't let anyone tell you different.
00:01:08Despite talking a big game, none of Hammer's schemes ever works out.
00:01:13By the end, he's reduced to a bystander in his own villainous plot, ending up in jail without so much as a struggle.
00:01:19Trying to pin this on me, huh? That's good. That's good.
00:01:22You're starting to think like a CEO, taking out the competition.
00:01:26Although Sam Rockwell brings a certain charm to the role, it's hard to feel anything but contempt for the character.
00:01:32Number 99. Dennis Nedry. Jurassic Park.
00:01:35Gracias, senor.
00:01:36Don't get cheap on me, Dotson.
00:01:43We're told that Jurassic Park failed because it couldn't contain its prehistoric residence.
00:01:48But at its core, it all came down to one thing. Greed.
00:01:52You know anybody who can network eight connection machines and debug two million lines of code for what I bid for this job?
00:01:58Because if you can, I'd love to see them try.
00:01:59I'm sorry about your financial problems, Dennis. I really am, but they are your problems.
00:02:03Oh, you're right, John. You're absolutely right.
00:02:05More specifically, the greed of Dennis Nedry, who willingly stabs everyone in the back.
00:02:11Fully aware of the chaos his actions would unleash, Nedry leaves the island's inhabitants to fend for themselves while plotting his own escape.
00:02:18Smarmy, loud, and unapologetic, he carries himself with an annoying swagger that makes him instantly punchable.
00:02:25And the wind are extinct.
00:02:27In the end, his memorably gruesome death remains his greatest contribution.
00:02:31A fitting demise for a man who risked it all for a quick payday.
00:02:35Number 98. Julianne Jules Potter, My Best Friend's Wedding.
00:02:49I thought the bridesmaids all wore the same dress.
00:02:53Not you. You wouldn't be comfortable unless you were distinctive.
00:02:56What else did he tell you?
00:03:01Julia Roberts' natural charm cannot be denied.
00:03:04But let's be honest, Jules Potter is as conceited as they come.
00:03:08In her mind, everything revolves around her, including her best friend's wedding.
00:03:13She sets out to ruin his big day.
00:03:15Not for love, but just so she can win.
00:03:18Choose me.
00:03:19Marry me.
00:03:21Let me make you happy.
00:03:22Disregarding Michael's genuine love for his fiancée, Jules refuses to take no for an answer.
00:03:29Though her antics earn a few laughs, they're still the actions of someone who never really grew up.
00:03:34While she does come around at the end, we can't overlook the trail of questionable behavior she displays throughout the film.
00:03:40Hello, George.
00:03:42Hey, gorgeous. How are you doing?
00:03:43Not particularly, but I did what I came to do.
00:03:47Number 97. Prince Hans, Frozen.
00:03:50Only an act of true love can save me.
00:03:54A true love's kiss.
00:04:06Oh, Anna.
00:04:09If only there was someone out there who loved you.
00:04:12Outwardly charismatic and a seemingly perfect romance for Anna,
00:04:15The Prince of the Southern Isles turns out to be the exact opposite,
00:04:18preying on her insecurities.
00:04:20Hans turns on the charm while setting his sinister plans in motion.
00:04:23He exploits the icy tension between Anna and Elsa,
00:04:27Driving a wedge between the sisters in pursuit of a throne that isn't his to begin with.
00:04:31Once the nice guy facade thaws away, Hans is exposed for who he truly is.
00:04:36You won't get away with this.
00:04:38Oh, I already have.
00:04:42A power-hungry fraud whose ego outgrows his head.
00:04:45He probably gets off easier than he deserves.
00:04:48But at least Anna's punch delivers the payoff we were all waiting for.
00:04:55Number 96. Judge Doom.
00:04:57Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
00:04:59I'll catch the rabbit, Mr. Valiant.
00:05:01Then I'll try him, convict him, and execute him.
00:05:06While most tunes of this 80s classic are harmless,
00:05:10Judge Doom is pure nightmare fuel.
00:05:13Even before his true nature is revealed,
00:05:15everything about the antagonist is scary.
00:05:17From his eerie, almost lifeless appearance to his cold, calculating menace,
00:05:21he wields control of the dip with deadly glee,
00:05:23becoming the antithesis of the joyful cartoons we grew up loving.
00:05:27Hey, I seen a rabbit.
00:05:32Where?
00:05:33See?
00:05:34Unlike the slapstick yet well-meaning residents of Toontown,
00:05:38he's a tyrannical figure bent on wiping out his own kind.
00:05:41While many look back fondly at the film as a treasured piece of nostalgia,
00:05:45Doom is a reminder that even cartoons have monsters lurking within.
00:05:49All things considered,
00:05:50Doom seems like an R-rated villain dropped into a G-rated world.
00:05:55Remember me, Eddie?
00:05:57When I killed your brother, I talked!
00:06:01Just with me!
00:06:05Number 95.
00:06:06The Nerds.
00:06:07Revenge of the Nerds.
00:06:09We really need some help.
00:06:11We figured pretty girls like you might be able to suggest a fraternity.
00:06:15Well, you know, boys,
00:06:16choosing the right fraternal organization
00:06:18can be one of the most important decisions in a man's life.
00:06:21For sure.
00:06:22For a group of underdogs,
00:06:23these characters behave far worse than the designated villains.
00:06:27What starts as payback at their tormentors spirals into creepy and downright criminal behavior.
00:06:32Among their most disturbing actions is hooking up with a woman while impersonating her boyfriend.
00:06:37Even at the time, their antics raised eyebrows,
00:06:48making the Nerds appear mean-spirited and unapologetically misogynistic.
00:06:52Worst of all,
00:06:54they're portrayed as misunderstood heroes,
00:06:56glossing over their horrible actions as if they were justified.
00:06:59You can do it!
00:07:00You can do it!
00:07:01You can do it!
00:07:03Time has not been kind to the film,
00:07:05exposing the main characters as predators hiding behind a nerdy mask.
00:07:09No one's really going to be free until nerd persecution ends.
00:07:19No matter which version of the character,
00:07:30Cinderella's evil stepmother lives up to her status.
00:07:33But Cate Blanchett's live-action portrayal may just be the most conniving of them all.
00:07:38While retaining her animated counterpart's streak of cruelty,
00:07:41Lady Tremaine brings an unprecedented layer of spite.
00:07:44This thing is so old-fashioned.
00:07:48It's practically falling to pieces.
00:07:51The shoulder's frayed.
00:07:53It's falling to pieces.
00:07:54Not only does she reduce Ella to a scullery maid,
00:07:58she also orchestrates her misery from the shadows.
00:08:01Driven by resentment and deep-seated envy for her stepdaughter,
00:08:04the villainess rationalizes her actions at every turn.
00:08:08And though no one deserves to be treated as you have treated me,
00:08:12why do you do it?
00:08:15Why?
00:08:17Why?
00:08:18Because you are young and innocent and good,
00:08:23and I.
00:08:28Blanchett's towering performance not only portrays all the vile traits expected
00:08:32from one of Disney's most infamous antagonists,
00:08:34but arguably exceeds them.
00:08:36You've spared the kingdom a great deal of embarrassment.
00:08:41And I should like to keep it that way.
00:08:43Number 93.
00:08:45Benny Gabor, The Mummy.
00:08:46What a surprise!
00:08:48My good friend, you're alive!
00:08:51I was so very, very worried.
00:08:52Well, if it ain't my little buddy Benny,
00:08:55I think I'll kill you.
00:08:57Think of my children!
00:08:58From the moment he slithers onto the screen,
00:09:01we cannot wait until this slimy villain gets what's coming to him.
00:09:04An opportunist in every sense of the word,
00:09:07betrayal is part of Benny's identity.
00:09:09He'll sell out anyone to save his own skin,
00:09:11even if that means siding with an undead fiend like Imhotep.
00:09:14Though he despises every moment of serving the titular mummy,
00:09:30Benny's cowardice outweighs any sense of conscience.
00:09:33The only things that drive Benny are self-preservation and greed.
00:09:36So, when his luck finally runs out,
00:09:39his fate feels like a worthy moment of poetic justice.
00:09:48As Rick so eloquently says,
00:09:53As the secretary of the World Security Council,
00:10:15the effortlessly charismatic Robert Redford
00:10:17initially traps viewers into a false sense of security.
00:10:20But the reveal of his true nature sends shockwaves through the film.
00:10:24As the secret head of Hydra,
00:10:26Pierce chases power through deception and manipulation.
00:10:29Driven by an unchecked god complex,
00:10:31the villain embeds himself like a parasite within S.H.I.E.L.D.,
00:10:34setting up Hydra's control over the world.
00:10:37Society's at a tipping point between order and chaos.
00:10:41Tomorrow morning, we're going to give it a push.
00:10:44There's no redemption waiting for him at the end of the line, either.
00:10:47As Pierce lives and dies, embracing Hydra's fanatical ideology.
00:10:51And it's safe to say no one's shedding any tears for this heartless traitor.
00:10:55By the time, I would have taken a bullet for you.
00:10:57You already did.
00:10:58You will again when it's useful.
00:10:59No matter the iteration,
00:11:18the sheriff is almost always the worst person on screen.
00:11:22From the Disney version's tormenting and greedy behavior
00:11:25to Alan Rickman's devilishly charming take on the character,
00:11:28the sheriff is consistently up to no good.
00:11:30Cry my Nellie.
00:11:32Now I know why your mama called you nutsy.
00:11:35Mad with power and deep in undeserved riches,
00:11:38the character is defined by his sinister flair.
00:11:41While the extent of his cruelty varies by adaptation,
00:11:44we hate his guts each and every time.
00:11:47Would you prefer pain or death?
00:11:54Death.
00:11:56Tortoring.
00:11:57Ticking every box in the classic villain playbook,
00:12:00the sheriff of Nottingham is deliberately fashioned out
00:12:03as the bad guy we love to watch beaten and humiliated at his own game.
00:12:08And call off Christmas.
00:12:09Number 90.
00:12:13Mrs. Danvers.
00:12:14Rebecca.
00:12:15This is Mrs. Danvers.
00:12:19How do you do?
00:12:23How do you do?
00:12:24Talk about next level creepy.
00:12:26While the titular character's spirit looms over the film,
00:12:29it's Mrs. Danvers who truly haunts the second Mrs. DeWinter.
00:12:33Obsessed with preserving the chilling legacy of her departed mistress,
00:12:36she torments our heroine time and again.
00:12:38You have nothing to live for, really, have you?
00:12:42Look down there.
00:12:44It's easy, isn't it?
00:12:47Why don't you?
00:12:49Why don't you?
00:12:53Mrs. Danvers' grip on reality continues to fade away,
00:12:56as her desperation to cling to the past takes her to unsettling new extremes.
00:13:01Her presence amplifies the film's exploration of psychological trauma,
00:13:04creating a deep-seated sense of paranoia in each scene,
00:13:07weaponizing the second Mrs. DeWinter's pain and vulnerability
00:13:10only solidifies our contempt for her.
00:13:13So, when the hollow walls of Manderley come burning down,
00:13:16we're not exactly mourning.
00:13:17Number 89, Professor Callahan, Legally Blonde.
00:13:31Are you hitting on me?
00:13:32You're a beautiful girl.
00:13:36So, everything you just said?
00:13:37I'm a man who knows what he wants.
00:13:39Number 88, Sierra Burgess.
00:13:41Sierra Burgess is a loser.
00:13:43Do you ever feel sometimes like the world is just conspiring against you?
00:13:49To tell you that you're not good enough?
00:13:51Yeah.
00:13:52No, I mean, I get it.
00:13:53I get why you did it.
00:13:54I do.
00:13:54Number 87, John Kreese, The Karate Kid Franchise.
00:13:58Here, on the street, in competition,
00:14:01a man confronts you, he is the enemy.
00:14:03An enemy deserves no mercy.
00:14:05What is the problem, Mr. Lawrence?
00:14:06Hey, come on, let's forget this.
00:14:13Wait.
00:14:14Not yet.
00:14:17Class, we have visitors.
00:14:18Fall in behind me.
00:14:20Ace!
00:14:21Number 86, Jim Preston, Passengers.
00:14:24You know, I'm not saying the universe is evil,
00:14:26but it sure has a nasty sense of humor.
00:14:28How's that?
00:14:29You get to fly to another planet,
00:14:31but you'll die along the way.
00:14:33Number 85, Grandpa Joe,
00:14:35Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
00:14:37And in all the years you've been saying
00:14:38you're going to get out of that bed,
00:14:40I've yet to see you set foot on the floor.
00:14:44Well, maybe if the floor wasn't so cold.
00:14:48As children, we see him as a sweet old man
00:14:51accompanying his grandson on a magical adventure.
00:14:53As adults, we see him as a conniving leech
00:14:56who does nothing while his family toils in poverty.
00:14:59How else do you explain his sudden burst of energy,
00:15:01going from bedridden to busting out some sick dance moves?
00:15:04I never dreamed that I would climb over the moon in ecstasy,
00:15:09but nevertheless, it's there that I'm shortly about to be.
00:15:13Talk about convenient.
00:15:15Even at the factory, Grandpa Joe feeds into Charlie's worst impulses,
00:15:18encouraging him to break the rules
00:15:20and steal Wonka's fizzy lifting drinks.
00:15:22Does he show any remorse?
00:15:24Nope.
00:15:25He pins the blame on Wonka instead.
00:15:27You're a crook.
00:15:29You're a chate and a swindler.
00:15:30That's what you are.
00:15:31How can you do a thing like this?
00:15:34Build up a little boy's hopes
00:15:35and then smash all his dreams to pieces?
00:15:37You're an inhuman monster!
00:15:39I said good day!
00:15:42And when Charlie inherits the factory,
00:15:44Grandpa Joe's first concern is himself.
00:15:46A greedy, self-serving old man through and through.
00:15:49That's right.
00:15:50So the factory's yours, Charlie.
00:15:51You can move in immediately.
00:15:53And me?
00:15:54Absolutely.
00:15:55Number 84.
00:15:56Meredith Blake, The Parent Trap.
00:16:00First change I make is to send that two-faced little brat
00:16:03off to boarding school in Tombop 2.
00:16:05Oof.
00:16:06Ice woman.
00:16:07Proud of it, babe.
00:16:08Number 83.
00:16:09Harry Ellis, Die Hard.
00:16:11Let's be straight, okay?
00:16:14It's obvious you're not some dumb schmuck up here
00:16:16to snatch a few purses, am I right?
00:16:18You're very perceptive.
00:16:20I watch 60 Minutes.
00:16:21I say to myself,
00:16:22these guys are professional.
00:16:24They're motivated.
00:16:25They're happening.
00:16:26I.E., they want something, huh?
00:16:28Number 82.
00:16:29Mark, Love Actually.
00:16:30Sleep in happy peace.
00:16:41Sleep in happy peace.
00:16:45Number 81.
00:16:49Kent Mansley, The Iron Giant.
00:16:52What are you talking about?
00:16:53What am I talking about?
00:16:55What am I talking about?
00:16:57I'm talking about your gold-armed security, Hogarth!
00:17:00While you're snoozing in your wooded jammies
00:17:02back in Washington, we're wide awake and worried.
00:17:04Why?
00:17:05Because everyone wants what we have, Hogarth.
00:17:07Number 80.
00:17:08Gordon Gekko, Wall Street.
00:17:11Greed, for lack of a better word, is good.
00:17:15Greed is right.
00:17:18Greed works.
00:17:19Anyone whose catchphrase is greed is good
00:17:22was never meant to be likable.
00:17:23Gordon Gekko is narcissism personified,
00:17:26a man who not only craves wealth and influence,
00:17:29but also corrupts others down the same path.
00:17:31He demands respect without ever offering it in return,
00:17:34exploiting those around him
00:17:35with a devilish sense of entitlement.
00:17:37Last night I was reading Rudy the story
00:17:39of Winnie the Pooh and the Honeypot.
00:17:41You know what happened.
00:17:42He stuck his nose in the pot once too often
00:17:45and he got stuck.
00:17:48Inspired by some of Wall Street's most ruthless figures,
00:17:51Gekko toes the line between greedy capitalist
00:17:53and full-blown psychopath.
00:17:55From his total lack of remorse
00:17:57to his compulsive need for control,
00:17:59everything about Gekko is as disturbing as it gets.
00:18:01You think you could have gotten this far,
00:18:04this fast with anybody else, huh?
00:18:06You think you'd be out there
00:18:07dicking someone like Darian?
00:18:08No.
00:18:09Or you'd be cold calling widows
00:18:11and dentists if I'd 20 shares
00:18:12some f***ing dog shit stock.
00:18:14Number 79, Major Henry West, 28 Days Later.
00:18:20You killed all my boys.
00:18:23Wait.
00:18:23Number 78, Mrs. Tweedy, Chicken Run.
00:18:37Poor, wet, nothings.
00:18:40But all that's about to change.
00:18:43This will take Tweedy's farm out of the Dark Ages
00:18:46and into full-scale automated production.
00:18:51Number 77, Guy Woodhouse, Rosemary's Baby.
00:18:55Hey, promise me you wouldn't be hurt
00:18:56when you haven't been, really.
00:19:01I mean, supposing you had the baby and you lost it.
00:19:05Wouldn't that be the same?
00:19:07Number 76, Miles Korich, The Avatar Franchise.
00:19:10Pandora will s*** you out dead with zero warning.
00:19:18I pulled your record, Corporal.
00:19:21Venezuela, that was some mean bush.
00:19:25Nothing like this here, though.
00:19:28Number 75, Count Rugen, The Princess Bride.
00:19:32What did this do to you?
00:19:34Tell me.
00:19:35And remember, this is for posterity, so be honest.
00:19:39While Prince Humperdinck gives us plenty of reasons
00:19:42to despise him, his over-the-top mannerisms
00:19:45carry a certain comical charm.
00:19:47Count Rugen's presence, however, makes us shudder in fright.
00:19:50Cold, sadistic, and dripping with bad intentions,
00:19:53he brings an unsettling contrast with the film's satirical tone.
00:19:56You've been tracing me your whole life only to fail now.
00:20:00I think that's the worst thing I've ever heard.
00:20:05How marvelous.
00:20:06With no trace of empathy,
00:20:08his boundless cruelty is without restraint.
00:20:11While Humperdinck makes us laugh,
00:20:12there's nothing funny about Rugen's unhinged brutality.
00:20:16That's why it's so satisfying to watch Inigo Montoya
00:20:18claim his long-awaited revenge,
00:20:20as Rugen falls to the blade of the very man
00:20:23he's so viciously tormented.
00:20:24Please, offer me everything I ask for.
00:20:29Anything you want.
00:20:33I want my father back, you son of a bitch.
00:20:35Have you ever felt like nobody was there?
00:20:46Have you ever felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere?
00:20:52Number 73, Sack Lodge, Wedding Crashers.
00:20:56Check out the rank of that bar, Tender.
00:21:05Hey, you're the sack.
00:21:07She'll come to you.
00:21:08Number 72, Christian Hughes, Midsommar.
00:21:11Happy birthday to you.
00:21:15Happy birthday to you.
00:21:20Happy birthday, dear Denny.
00:21:24Happy birthday to you.
00:21:28Number 71, Lord Cutler Beckett,
00:21:31The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
00:21:33Advise your brethren.
00:21:36You can fight and all of you will die.
00:21:39Or you can not fight,
00:21:41in which case only most of you will die.
00:21:44You murdered my father.
00:21:47He chose his own fate.
00:21:50And you have chosen yours.
00:21:51Number 70, Lord Shen, Kung Fu Panda 2.
00:21:55Even with dangerous skills and abilities,
00:22:11Kung Fu Panda villains stay within the franchise's family-friendly boundaries.
00:22:14But Lord Shen is a striking exception.
00:22:18Although his steely-eyed intensity is a hilarious contrast to Poe's bumbling personality,
00:22:22Shen brings a foreboding sense of tension.
00:22:25Responsible for nearly eradicating pandas across China,
00:22:28he permanently scars Poe by tearing him away from his parents.
00:22:31You are no match for our Kung Fu.
00:22:34I agree.
00:22:36But this is.
00:22:47Shen's obsessive goal to rewrite his fate seals his own downfall,
00:22:51refusing every shot at redemption along the way.
00:22:54While other villains have some positive qualities,
00:22:57Shen's relentless pursuit of evil only garners our contempt.
00:23:00Set the sous-sere free.
00:23:03She's no use to me.
00:23:04Goodbye, Shen.
00:23:06I wish you happiness.
00:23:08Happiness must be taken.
00:23:12Number 69, Colonel William Tavington, The Patriot.
00:23:16Tell me, Captain Wilkins, where do your loyalties lie?
00:23:19To king and country, sir.
00:23:20Why should I trust a man who betrays his neighbors?
00:23:24Well, those neighbors of mine who stand against England deserve to die a traitor's death, hmm?
00:23:30You'll see.
00:23:30Number 68, Carl Brunner, Ghost.
00:23:35Listen to me, Molly.
00:23:35I gotta ask you about something.
00:23:37Yeah.
00:23:38He needs to borrow four million dollars.
00:23:39When you said that you thought that Sam was here, that he was talking to you,
00:23:44what did you feel?
00:23:45What did he say to you?
00:23:46Why?
00:23:47What does that have to do with anything?
00:23:48It's just...
00:23:49Listen to me for a second.
00:23:51This psychic lady, I want to know what she told you.
00:23:52I want to know exactly what she said.
00:23:54Carl, let me go.
00:23:54Stop this.
00:23:55Well, it's been a wonderful evening, but we better be going.
00:24:03You're not leaving.
00:24:05We don't want to take advantage of your hospitality.
00:24:09Come on, Russell.
00:24:09But we haven't even had dessert yet.
00:24:12Oh, the boy's right.
00:24:13You haven't had dessert.
00:24:15Epsilon here makes a delicious cherry's jubilee.
00:24:19Number 66, Adrian Griffin, The Invisible Man.
00:24:24I know I didn't treat you.
00:24:25The way you should have been treated when we were together.
00:24:30But I've learned my lesson.
00:24:35I would burn everything I own just to prove that to you.
00:24:41Number 65, Bryony Talis, Atonement.
00:24:44I know who it was.
00:24:48You saw him then?
00:24:51Yes, I saw him.
00:24:52With little proof to back up her claims,
00:24:54a single accusation by Bryony destroys two innocent lives.
00:24:58Fueled by jealousy and an overactive imagination,
00:25:01she cares little for truth or consequence,
00:25:03effectively sending Robbie to his doom
00:25:05while breaking her sister Cecilia's heart.
00:25:07Sure, she was just a child at the time,
00:25:09but Bryony's refusal to take responsibility even decades later
00:25:12is all the more infuriating.
00:25:14Oh, I had a crush once when I was 10 or 11.
00:25:20I jumped into a river to see if he'd save me from drowning.
00:25:23And how does she atone for her guilt?
00:25:25By granting the star-crossed lovers a fictitious happy ending
00:25:28that she considers an act of kindness.
00:25:31It's a hollow gesture,
00:25:33especially considering it comes long after their tragic
00:25:35and ultimately pointless deaths.
00:25:37What sense of hope
00:25:39or satisfaction
00:25:42could a reader derive from an ending like that?
00:25:46So in the book,
00:25:48I wanted to give Robbie and Cecilia
00:25:50what they lost out on in life.
00:25:53Number 64, Tom Hansen,
00:25:55500 Days of Summer.
00:25:57Outside is a boxcar waiting
00:26:00Outside the family store
00:26:04Outside the fire breathing
00:26:08Outside we'd wait till the place turns blue
00:26:12Number 63, Marla Grayson,
00:26:15I Care A Lot.
00:26:16The point is,
00:26:17these diamonds don't officially exist.
00:26:20So,
00:26:21no one would ever miss them.
00:26:27You want to steal them?
00:26:39No.
00:26:41You want to change their location for a while
00:26:44for safekeeping
00:26:45and see what happens.
00:26:49Number 62, Noah Calhoun,
00:26:51The Notebook.
00:26:52Look, I know you get some dirty guy
00:26:54coming up to you on the street,
00:26:55you don't know him.
00:26:56You don't know me,
00:26:57but I know me.
00:27:00And when I see something that I like,
00:27:02I got it.
00:27:03I love it.
00:27:04Number 61, Henry Rhodes,
00:27:07Day of the Dead.
00:27:08Nothing happens around here
00:27:10without my knowing about it.
00:27:14And anybody f***s with my command,
00:27:19they get court-martialed,
00:27:21they get executed.
00:27:23Number 60,
00:27:30The High Evolutionary,
00:27:32Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
00:27:34Anything I've done,
00:27:35I've done for the betterment of the universe.
00:27:38Newsflash, Einstein,
00:27:39a better universe is generally
00:27:40don't recruit a bunch of octopuses
00:27:41selling meth to guys with cockroach heads.
00:27:45They do not.
00:27:46Rocket's tragic past was alluded to
00:27:48in earlier films,
00:27:49but nothing could prepare us
00:27:51for the real monster behind it.
00:27:52While villains like Ronan the Accuser
00:27:54and Ego were hateable in their own right,
00:27:56this antagonist outdoes them by a mile.
00:27:59Determined to create the perfect species,
00:28:01The High Evolutionary subjects his creations
00:28:03to brutal experiments
00:28:04before discarding them
00:28:06without a second thought.
00:28:07Behind Rocket's bravado lies a deeply hurt soul,
00:28:27all due to The High Evolutionary's unyielding ambition.
00:28:30With his shrill rage and disregard for life,
00:28:32the character embodies a whole new kind of evil
00:28:35beyond comprehension.
00:28:39His face came off!
00:28:42It's a mask.
00:28:43Look what you did to me!
00:28:46Number 59.
00:28:48Ernesto de la Cruz, Coco.
00:28:50Did you ever regret it?
00:28:52Choosing music over everything else?
00:28:55It was hard.
00:28:58Saying goodbye to my hometown.
00:29:00Heading off on my own.
00:29:03Leaving your family?
00:29:05Si.
00:29:06Number 58.
00:29:07Max Cady, Cape Fear.
00:29:09Alright, alright, okay, okay.
00:29:10I swear to tell the truth.
00:29:11What do you want to know?
00:29:12Was a prior sexual history
00:29:14ever prepared connection with my defense?
00:29:15Was a prior sexual history
00:29:19ever prepared connection with my defense?
00:29:23Number 57.
00:29:24Captain Dudley Smith, L.A. Confidential.
00:29:27You're a bit of a puzzlement to me these days, Wendell.
00:29:30You don't seem to be your old cruel self anymore.
00:29:33And I had such grand plans for your future.
00:29:36What plans?
00:29:39You have your extracurricular activities.
00:29:41And I have mine.
00:29:42Number 56.
00:29:44Lena Lamont, Singin' in the Rain.
00:29:46Ta-tay-tee-toe-too.
00:29:51No, no, Miss Lamont.
00:29:52Round tones, round tones.
00:29:56Now let me hear you read your line.
00:30:00And I can't stand them.
00:30:03Number 55.
00:30:04Bella Swan, The Twilight Saga.
00:30:06Hey, you're from Arizona, right?
00:30:08Yeah.
00:30:09Aren't people from Arizona
00:30:10supposed to be, like, really tan?
00:30:13Yeah.
00:30:14Maybe that's why they kicked me out.
00:30:17She may be the face of the franchise,
00:30:19but that doesn't stop Bella
00:30:20from being one of its most hated characters.
00:30:22Apart from surrendering all personal agency
00:30:24to a vampire over a century older than her,
00:30:27she has little to no personality.
00:30:29To top off her long list of character defects,
00:30:32she strings Jacob along,
00:30:33continues to whine and brood over Edward,
00:30:36and constantly falls into the tired
00:30:37damsel-in-distress trope.
00:30:39Alice said that she saw me like you.
00:30:42I heard her.
00:30:42Her visions change.
00:30:44Yeah, based on what people decide.
00:30:47The franchise's unintentional humor
00:30:49doesn't help either,
00:30:50making Bella something of a teenage drama queen.
00:30:52Far from inspiring sympathy,
00:30:54attachment, or even pity,
00:30:56this melodramatic heroine
00:30:57mostly leaves us with secondhand embarrassment.
00:30:59And we still haven't forgiven her
00:31:11for unleashing that horrifying CGI baby
00:31:13into the world.
00:31:13Number 54, Colin Sullivan, The Departed.
00:31:29I can't even tell you the debt.
00:31:36I just want you to know
00:31:37I'll be recommending you for the Medal of Merit.
00:31:39Oh, yeah?
00:31:40Yeah.
00:31:40It's kind of like a gold star around here, huh?
00:31:46It's the highest honor we got.
00:31:49Number 53, Colonel Nathan R. Jessup,
00:31:51A Few Good Men.
00:31:52I'll answer the question.
00:31:55You want answers?
00:31:56I think I'm entitled to...
00:31:57You want answers!
00:31:58I want the truth!
00:31:59You can't handle the truth!
00:32:02Son, we live in a world that has walls,
00:32:04and those walls have to be guarded
00:32:06by men with guns.
00:32:07Who's gonna do it?
00:32:08You!
00:32:09You, Lieutenant Weinberg!
00:32:12Number 52, John Doe, Seven.
00:32:15Become vengeance, David.
00:32:16Ah, she's alright, you tell me.
00:32:18Become...
00:32:18Wrath.
00:32:20Tell me she's alright!
00:32:22Number 51, Mother Gothel, Tangled.
00:32:25Mother...
00:32:27No!
00:32:29No.
00:32:31Oh.
00:32:33I see how it is.
00:32:35Rapunzel knows best.
00:32:40Rapunzel's so mature now.
00:32:41Such a clever, grown-up miss.
00:32:44Number 50, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen,
00:32:47The Dune Franchise.
00:32:48Allow them the dignity of exile.
00:32:55House Harkonnen would never dream of violating
00:32:58the sanctity of your order.
00:32:59I give you my word.
00:33:03As the physical embodiment of gluttony and consumption,
00:33:06Baron Harkonnen is every bit as vile
00:33:08as his grotesque appearance suggests.
00:33:10Orchestrating the downfall of House Atreides,
00:33:12he operates like a chess master,
00:33:14stringing his minions along
00:33:15and treating his own family like disposable pawns.
00:33:18Despite his limited screen time,
00:33:20the antagonist looms like a dark cloud over the story.
00:33:23He highlights the franchise's dystopian backdrop,
00:33:26reminding viewers of how wicked
00:33:27every corner of this universe has become.
00:33:30Few villains are as easy to hate but hard to kill,
00:33:33as beating Harkonnen ultimately pushes our hero
00:33:35to embrace his inner darkness.
00:33:37Number 49, Buffalo Bill,
00:33:39The Silence of the Lambs.
00:33:41She broke her leg on the way down.
00:33:43I know it.
00:33:44Hey, don't you hurt my dog!
00:33:46Don't you make me hurt your dog!
00:33:48Hey, you don't know what pain is!
00:33:51Number 48, Jack Torrance, The Shining.
00:33:53Has it ever occurred to you
00:33:55that I have agreed to look after
00:33:56the Overlook Hotel until May the 1st?
00:34:00Does it matter to you at all
00:34:01that the owners have placed
00:34:03their complete confidence and trust in me
00:34:05and that I have signed a letter of agreement,
00:34:07a contract,
00:34:08in which I have accepted that responsibility?
00:34:11Number 47, L Driver, Kill Bill Vol. 1
00:34:15and Kill Bill Vol. 2.
00:34:17L. B.
00:34:19Something I've always been curious about.
00:34:24Just between us girls.
00:34:27What did you say to Pai May
00:34:29to make him snatch out your eye?
00:34:32Ah!
00:34:33Oh!
00:34:34Oh!
00:34:34I call him a miserable, old fool.
00:34:38Fool.
00:34:39Fool.
00:34:40Number 46, Yosef Tarasov, John Wick.
00:34:45Oh, I love dogs.
00:34:48You're a dog, man.
00:34:51You're a dog, man.
00:34:55What do you do?
00:34:58Number 45, Clarence Boddicker, RoboCop.
00:35:02How you doing?
00:35:06Unlike many 80s action films,
00:35:08RoboCop is surprisingly rich in thematic material,
00:35:11touching on matters of corporate greed,
00:35:13ethics, and morality.
00:35:14Still, villains from this era
00:35:16are not exactly known for their character depth.
00:35:18I don't know.
00:35:20I don't know.
00:35:21Maybe I'm just not making myself clear.
00:35:26Flashy, exaggerated, and over-the-top,
00:35:29Clarence Boddicker embodies all the characteristics
00:35:31of the 80s villain template.
00:35:33The crime lord is hateable from the get-go,
00:35:35destroying our protagonist's body
00:35:37and forcing him to live as a cyborg.
00:35:40Boddicker and his gang's campy mannerisms
00:35:42and one-dimensional personalities
00:35:43are designed to get on our nerves,
00:35:45making us root even harder for the hero
00:35:47to bring them down.
00:35:48I give up.
00:35:50I'm not arresting you anymore.
00:35:52Hey, now wait a second.
00:35:55What he lacks in depth,
00:35:57Boddicker makes up for in viciousness,
00:35:58underscoring why he is the designated baddie
00:36:01of this story.
00:36:03Fire, you're not a Robocop!
00:36:07Number 44, Frank Booth, Blue Velvet.
00:36:11Hey, you wanna go for a ride?
00:36:13No thanks.
00:36:15No thanks?
00:36:16What does that mean?
00:36:18I don't wanna go.
00:36:19Go where?
00:36:20For a ride.
00:36:21A ride!
00:36:23Hell, that's a good idea.
00:36:24Number 43, The Beldam,
00:36:26aka The Other Mother, Coraline.
00:36:29So, you're back.
00:36:33And you brought Berman with you?
00:36:37No.
00:36:38I...
00:36:39I brought a friend.
00:36:43You know I love you.
00:36:46You have a very funny way of showing it.
00:36:54Number 42, Bob Ewell,
00:36:57To Kill a Mockingbird.
00:36:58Ewell, I'm very...
00:36:58Hey, Captain,
00:36:59somebody told me just now
00:37:01that they thought that you believed
00:37:05Tom Robinson's story again, aren't.
00:37:08You know what I said?
00:37:12I said you wrong, man.
00:37:14You dare wrong!
00:37:15Number 41, Albert, Mr. Johnson,
00:37:18The Color Purple.
00:37:21She'll be back.
00:37:23She'll got talent.
00:37:25She can sing.
00:37:26She got spunk.
00:37:28She can talk to anybody.
00:37:29She can stand up and be noticed.
00:37:32But what you got?
00:37:34You're ugly, you're skinny,
00:37:35you're shaped funny,
00:37:36and you're too scared
00:37:37to open your mouth to people.
00:37:39Number 40, Lil Zay,
00:37:41City of God.
00:37:42Who said that your mouth is yours, man?
00:37:45Who said that your mouth is yours?
00:37:46What's your dad?
00:37:47Daddian?
00:37:48Daddian, damn it.
00:37:48My name is Zé Pequeno.
00:37:50His name is Zé Pequeno.
00:37:52You're going to fall,
00:37:53you're going to die,
00:37:53you're going to die.
00:37:53No, no, no,
00:37:54because he already understood.
00:37:55Whether it's Lil' Dice in childhood
00:37:57or Lil' Zay as an adult,
00:37:58he is a terror since day one.
00:38:01But that's the toxic cycle
00:38:02in City of God,
00:38:03which follows a system
00:38:04that molds tyrants out of children.
00:38:06The favela's violent underbelly
00:38:08is a hotbed for crime,
00:38:09with Zay at its center.
00:38:11Although a product of his environment,
00:38:13Zay's thirst for violence
00:38:14remains unmatched
00:38:15even against his most vicious peers.
00:38:17Sure, we follow his story,
00:38:19but that doesn't mean
00:38:19we're on his side.
00:38:21Because Zay doesn't just
00:38:22abandon his morality,
00:38:23he forsakes everything
00:38:25that makes him human.
00:38:36He backstabs his friends
00:38:38and torments everyone
00:38:39in his rise as a crime lord,
00:38:40only to die like
00:38:41any other forgotten runt.
00:38:43Couldn't have happened
00:38:44to a nicer guy, right?
00:38:53Don't feel bad, Paul.
00:39:03It was bound to happen
00:39:04sooner or later.
00:39:06It's a sign.
00:39:10You see, I've known for some time
00:39:12why I was chosen to save you.
00:39:14You and I were meant
00:39:15to be together forever.
00:39:16Number 38, Major Arnold Ernst Tote,
00:39:20Raiders of the Lost Ark.
00:39:29Good evening, Fraulein.
00:39:31The bar is closed.
00:39:34We are not thirsty.
00:39:38Number 37, P.T. Barnum,
00:39:41The Greatest Showman.
00:39:42I recently had the privilege
00:39:44of hearing the most divine voice
00:39:48I've ever heard.
00:39:49Suddenly, he's a connoisseur.
00:39:51Now, I know that sounds
00:39:52like Barnum Humbug,
00:39:54but I have a hundred bottles
00:39:55of good champagne on ice
00:39:56that says this isn't just
00:39:58another sideshow novelty.
00:40:00Number 36, Shooter McGavin,
00:40:02Happy Gilmore.
00:40:03Trying to reach the green
00:40:04from here, Shooter?
00:40:05That's not possible, sir.
00:40:07I beg to differ.
00:40:09Happy Gilmore accomplished
00:40:10that feat no more
00:40:11than an hour ago.
00:40:13Well, moron,
00:40:14good for Happy Gilmore.
00:40:15Oh, my God!
00:40:19Number 35,
00:40:21The Wicked Witch of the West,
00:40:22The Wizard of Oz.
00:40:23Who killed the Witch of the East?
00:40:25Was it you?
00:40:27No.
00:40:28No, it was an accident.
00:40:29I didn't mean to kill anybody.
00:40:31Well, my little pretty,
00:40:33I can cause accidents too.
00:40:35Considered by many
00:40:36as the quintessential
00:40:37classic villain,
00:40:38The Wicked Witch of the West
00:40:39remains a cinematic icon.
00:40:41From her signature green skin
00:40:42to her over-the-top demeanor,
00:40:44and bolstered by Margaret Hamilton's
00:40:46timeless performance,
00:40:47the character remains etched
00:40:49in history.
00:40:50I'll get you, my pretty,
00:40:52and your little dog too.
00:40:56Harboring a petty resentment
00:40:57towards Dorothy,
00:40:58the Witch targets our heroine
00:41:00throughout the story.
00:41:01From unleashing her army
00:41:02of flying monkeys
00:41:03to trying to set
00:41:04the Scarecrow ablaze,
00:41:05she embraces every cruel tactic
00:41:07to gain victory.
00:41:08Whether viewed through
00:41:09nostalgic eyes
00:41:10or a childlike lens,
00:41:11we always cheer in delight
00:41:13watching this baddie melt away
00:41:14and receive her just desserts.
00:41:16Oh, what a world!
00:41:17What a world!
00:41:19Who thought a good little girl like you
00:41:21could destroy
00:41:22my beautiful wickedness?
00:41:24Ah, look out!
00:41:25Look out!
00:41:27I'm going!
00:41:29Number 34.
00:41:30Scar, The Lion King.
00:41:31Long live the king.
00:41:47Number 33.
00:41:48Lee Woo Jin,
00:41:49Old Boy.
00:41:58Yeah?
00:41:58Number 32.
00:42:13Carlo Rizzi,
00:42:14The Godfather.
00:42:15He's buzzing here.
00:42:21Good.
00:42:28There's a car waiting
00:42:30for you outside.
00:42:31Take you to the airport.
00:42:33I'll call your wife.
00:42:34Tell her what flight you're on.
00:42:42Get out of my sight.
00:42:44Number 31.
00:42:45Walter Peck,
00:42:46Ghostbusters.
00:42:47Forget it, Venkman.
00:42:49You had your chance
00:42:50to cooperate,
00:42:50but you thought it'd be
00:42:51more fun to insult me.
00:42:52Well, now it is my turn,
00:42:53wiseass.
00:42:54He wants to shut down
00:42:55the protection grid, Peter.
00:42:56You shut that thing down
00:42:57and we are not going
00:42:58to be held responsible
00:42:59for whatever happens.
00:43:00On the contrary,
00:43:00you're going to be held
00:43:00responsible.
00:43:00No, we won't be held responsible.
00:43:01Shut it up!
00:43:03Number 30.
00:43:04Lotso Huggin' Bear,
00:43:05Toy Story 3.
00:43:07Well, hello there.
00:43:09I thought I heard new voices.
00:43:11Welcome to Sunnyside, folks.
00:43:14I'm Lotso Huggin' Bear.
00:43:16Whenever a mysteriously kind
00:43:18and caring character
00:43:19appears in a Pixar film,
00:43:20you know they've got
00:43:21a secret to hide.
00:43:22Lotso might just be
00:43:23the worst offender
00:43:24of them all.
00:43:25Masquerading as the cheerful
00:43:27leader of Sunnyside Daycare,
00:43:28the villain runs the place
00:43:30with an iron fist.
00:43:31Listen up, folks.
00:43:33We got a way of doing things
00:43:34here at Sunnyside.
00:43:36If you start at the bottom,
00:43:37pay your dues,
00:43:38life here can be
00:43:39a dream come true.
00:43:41But if you break our rules,
00:43:44step out of line,
00:43:45try to check out early,
00:43:49well, you're just hurting yourself.
00:43:51While his backstory
00:43:53might stir some sympathy,
00:43:55he's all bad
00:43:57by the time we meet him.
00:43:58Lotso abandons the purpose
00:43:59of being a toy,
00:44:00choosing to rule
00:44:01through fear instead.
00:44:03Any hope of redemption
00:44:04is lost when he condemns
00:44:05our heroes to perish
00:44:06in what would have been
00:44:07a fiery demise.
00:44:09After everything he put
00:44:10Woody and the gang through,
00:44:11his ending feels a lot more
00:44:13merciful than it should have been.
00:44:14Enjoy the view, Lotso.
00:44:15Hey, buddy.
00:44:18You might want to keep
00:44:19your mouth shut.
00:44:22Number 29, Mr. Potter,
00:44:24It's a Wonderful Life.
00:44:25What does that get us?
00:44:27A discontented, lazy rabble
00:44:30instead of a thrifty
00:44:31working class.
00:44:33And all because
00:44:34a few starry-eyed dreamers
00:44:36like Peter Bailey
00:44:37stir them up and fill their head
00:44:40with a lot of impossible ideas.
00:44:42Number 28, Miss Agatha Trunchbull,
00:44:44Matilda.
00:44:47Confess.
00:44:49Well, it's hard for me
00:44:51to remember a specific cake.
00:44:53This one was mine.
00:44:57And it was the most scrumptious cake
00:44:59in the entire world.
00:45:01My mom's is better.
00:45:03It is, is it?
00:45:06How can you be sure
00:45:08unless you have another piece?
00:45:11Number 27, Emperor Sheev Palpatine,
00:45:14a.k.a. Darth Sidious,
00:45:16the Star Wars franchise.
00:45:18Your hate has made you powerful.
00:45:21Now, fulfill your destiny.
00:45:27Number 26, Mary Lee Johnston, Precious.
00:45:29I did what my mother told me
00:45:32that I was supposed to do
00:45:34with my child.
00:45:36So that's what I did.
00:45:37And you're sitting up there
00:45:38and you're trying to judge me.
00:45:40I'm not judging you,
00:45:42but you're asking me for money
00:45:43and you're asking me to be reunited
00:45:44with your grandson.
00:45:46But, Miss Weiss,
00:45:46I don't like you looking at me like that.
00:45:48Number 25, Youngsuk,
00:45:50Train to Busan.
00:45:51Zombie stories usually depict humanity
00:46:08at its worst,
00:46:09and Youngsuk more than proves it.
00:46:11Unscrupulous and utterly detestable,
00:46:13he gets on our nerves
00:46:14throughout this film.
00:46:16Apart from just being obnoxious,
00:46:18Youngsuk actively puts everyone in danger,
00:46:20even if it means literally
00:46:22throwing someone straight to their death.
00:46:34Cowardly to the core,
00:46:35he becomes the most toxic presence
00:46:37on the train.
00:46:38It doesn't matter who he has to sacrifice
00:46:40or what lines he must cross.
00:46:42Youngsuk never hesitates
00:46:43to put himself first.
00:46:50It's not just his actions
00:46:54that are infuriating,
00:46:55it's the fact that his selfishness
00:46:56feels unsettlingly real.
00:46:58So, if the zombie apocalypse
00:47:00ever does hit,
00:47:01just hope you don't find yourself
00:47:03stuck with a Youngsuk of your own.
00:47:04Number 24, Alex Forrest,
00:47:19Fatal Attraction.
00:47:20I don't know what you're up to,
00:47:22but I'm going to tell you
00:47:23it's going to stop right now.
00:47:24No, it's not going to stop.
00:47:25It's going to go on and on
00:47:27until you face up
00:47:27to your responsibilities.
00:47:28What responsibilities?
00:47:30I'm pregnant.
00:47:31I'm going to have our child.
00:47:33Alex, that's your choice, honey.
00:47:35That has nothing to do with me.
00:47:37I just want to be
00:47:38a part of your life.
00:47:39Oh, this is the way you do it, huh?
00:47:40Shut up at my apartment!
00:47:41What am I supposed to do?
00:47:42You won't answer my calls.
00:47:43You change your number.
00:47:44I mean, I'm not going to be ignored, Dan.
00:47:47Number 23, Warden Samuel Norton.
00:47:50The Shawshank Redemption.
00:47:51Terrible thing.
00:47:54Man that young,
00:47:56less than a year to go
00:47:57trying to escape.
00:47:59Broke Captain Hadley's heart
00:48:00to shoot him.
00:48:01Truly dead.
00:48:06We just have to put it behind us.
00:48:08Number 22, Hans Landa
00:48:11in Glorious Bastards.
00:48:12I'm sure this mission of yours
00:48:14has a commanding officer.
00:48:16A general.
00:48:18I'm betting for
00:48:20OSS would be my guess.
00:48:26Ooh, that's a bingo!
00:48:29Number 21, Bill Lumberg, Office Space.
00:48:34Um, I'm going to need you
00:48:38to go ahead and come in tomorrow.
00:48:40So, if you could be here
00:48:42around nine,
00:48:45that would be great.
00:48:47Okay?
00:48:49Oh, oh, and I almost forgot.
00:48:52Um,
00:48:52I'm also going to need you
00:48:54to go ahead and come in
00:48:56on Sunday.
00:48:57Number 20, Mayor Larry Vaughn,
00:49:00Jaws.
00:49:01We're really a little anxious
00:49:02that you're, uh,
00:49:03you're rushing into
00:49:04something serious here.
00:49:05It's your first summer, you know.
00:49:07What does that mean?
00:49:08Not every despicable character
00:49:10is a big bad
00:49:11who commits atrocities.
00:49:12Sometimes,
00:49:13it's the one who does nothing
00:49:14whom we hate the most.
00:49:16In Larry Vaughn's case,
00:49:17his stubborn desire
00:49:18to put profit
00:49:19over public safety
00:49:20directly results
00:49:20in the loss
00:49:21of innocent lives.
00:49:22Despite clear warnings
00:49:24and mounting evidence,
00:49:25Vaughn ignores the crisis,
00:49:27leaving him with blood
00:49:28on his hands.
00:49:29August?
00:49:30For Christ's sake,
00:49:31tomorrow's the 4th of July
00:49:32and we will be open
00:49:34for business.
00:49:34It's going to be one
00:49:35of the best summers
00:49:36we've ever had.
00:49:37Now, if you fellas
00:49:37are concerned about the beaches,
00:49:39you do whatever you have to
00:49:40to make them safe.
00:49:41But those beaches
00:49:42will be open
00:49:42for this weekend.
00:49:44With no warmth
00:49:44or well-mannered appeal
00:49:46to offer,
00:49:46his smarmy,
00:49:47delusional attitude
00:49:48only highlights
00:49:49his incompetence.
00:49:50A man-eating shark
00:49:51may be the primary threat,
00:49:53but it's a gutless politician
00:49:54who leaves us boiling
00:49:55with rage.
00:49:57My kids.
00:49:58Well, that means true.
00:50:03Number 19.
00:50:05Terrence Fletcher.
00:50:06Whiplash.
00:50:07Three, four.
00:50:09Yep, that's right.
00:50:11At first,
00:50:11he seems to play
00:50:12the wise old teacher trope,
00:50:14offering hope and guidance
00:50:15to an ambitious young talent
00:50:16like Andrew.
00:50:17But as we soon find out,
00:50:18Fletcher is a fire-breathing
00:50:20tyrant in disguise.
00:50:22Masking his incessant need
00:50:23for control
00:50:24as a pursuit of perfection,
00:50:25he pushes his students
00:50:26to their breaking point.
00:50:27One, two, three, four.
00:50:29One, two, three, four.
00:50:30One, two, three, four.
00:50:31Now, was I rushing
00:50:33or was I dragging?
00:50:34I don't know.
00:50:36Count again.
00:50:37Rapid insults
00:50:38and a sinister glee
00:50:39in his pupils' suffering
00:50:40swell his massive ego
00:50:41with each scene.
00:50:42The psychological trauma
00:50:43and gaslighting he displays
00:50:45make him a cautionary tale
00:50:46of unchallenged authority.
00:50:48His arrogance
00:50:49and lack of personal growth
00:50:50not only invite our resentment,
00:50:52but also have us celebrating
00:50:54his eventual downfall.
00:50:55Some parents got a kid
00:50:57from Sean Casey's year,
00:50:59I think,
00:50:59to say some things about me.
00:51:02Although,
00:51:03why anybody would have anything
00:51:05other than peaches and cream
00:51:06to say about me
00:51:07is a mystery.
00:51:09Simply put,
00:51:10Fletcher absolutely sucks.
00:51:12There are bad parents
00:51:21and then there's Margaret White
00:51:22who sets the standard
00:51:24for everything
00:51:25a parent should never be.
00:51:27Exceedingly paranoid
00:51:28and fanatic,
00:51:29she sees sin
00:51:30in every aspect of humanity.
00:51:32Along with shattering
00:51:33her daughter's emotional fragility,
00:51:34she ultimately tips Carrie
00:51:36over the edge.
00:51:36Margaret controls
00:51:48every part of her daughter's life
00:51:50through punishment
00:51:50and manipulation,
00:51:52wielding religion
00:51:52like a loaded weapon.
00:51:54Convinced the devil
00:51:55resides in her daughter,
00:51:56she refuses to confront
00:51:58the demons
00:51:58consuming her own soul.
00:52:00Despite fierce competition
00:52:01from the likes
00:52:02of Chris and Billy,
00:52:03Margaret manages
00:52:04to run away
00:52:04with our complete loathing.
00:52:06Number 17,
00:52:15Cal Hockley,
00:52:15Titanic.
00:52:17We'll both have the lamb,
00:52:18rare with very little
00:52:19mint sauce, eh?
00:52:22You like lamb, right,
00:52:23sweet pea?
00:52:24Elitist,
00:52:24possessive,
00:52:25and shamelessly opportunistic,
00:52:27Cal steals the title
00:52:28of the worst fiancé
00:52:29in film history.
00:52:31Treating Rose
00:52:31more like a trophy
00:52:32than a person,
00:52:33the only thing
00:52:34he cares about
00:52:34is maintaining his image.
00:52:36I'm your fiancé.
00:52:39My fiancé?
00:52:40My fiancé!
00:52:42Yes, you are!
00:52:43And my...
00:52:44My wife can practice
00:52:46if not yet by law,
00:52:47so you will honor me.
00:52:50Consumed by the need to win,
00:52:51Cal might just be
00:52:53the poster boy
00:52:53for toxic masculinity,
00:52:55dictating Rose's
00:52:56every move
00:52:57and lashing out
00:52:57when he loses.
00:52:58By the time the ship sinks,
00:53:00he's shed his polished facade,
00:53:02willing to commit murder
00:53:03and exploit a lost child
00:53:04to save himself.
00:53:06We have an understanding
00:53:07then, Mr. Murdoch.
00:53:13While he does walk off
00:53:15the Titanic with his life,
00:53:16it's at the cost
00:53:17of his fiancé
00:53:18and all his respect.
00:53:20Number 16.
00:53:21The Armitage Family.
00:53:22Get out.
00:53:23Calling this clan
00:53:24entitled and racist
00:53:25doesn't cover it.
00:53:27We might have to invent
00:53:36a whole new word
00:53:37to describe just how
00:53:38deranged they are.
00:53:39Equal parts sick and demented,
00:53:41the Armitage Family
00:53:42and their circle
00:53:43prey on innocent black people
00:53:44through a horrifying form
00:53:45of mind invasion.
00:53:47Beneath their polished smile
00:53:48and warm words,
00:53:49each member completes
00:53:50a piece of a revolting puzzle.
00:53:52They don't see it as racism.
00:53:54They see it as a form
00:53:55of evolution.
00:53:56Now,
00:53:57sink into the floor.
00:54:00Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:54:01Sink.
00:54:06Motivated by a warped
00:54:07sense of righteousness,
00:54:09the family secures
00:54:10its place among
00:54:10the most disturbing characters
00:54:11in cinematic history.
00:54:13Thankfully,
00:54:14Chris's roaring rampage
00:54:15of revenge
00:54:16puts them down
00:54:17with the kind of brutality
00:54:18only monsters deserve.
00:54:20I mean,
00:54:20I told you not
00:54:21to go in that house.
00:54:22I know this steak
00:54:28doesn't exist.
00:54:31I know that when
00:54:32I put it in my mouth,
00:54:34the Matrix is telling
00:54:35my brain that it is
00:54:36juicy
00:54:38and delicious.
00:54:41Disillusioned and bitter
00:54:41over Morpheus's
00:54:42failed promises,
00:54:44Cypher longs for
00:54:44the Matrix's
00:54:45artificial comforts.
00:54:47Honestly,
00:54:47we get it.
00:54:48The real world
00:54:49really isn't all that great.
00:54:50But that doesn't mean
00:54:51selling out your entire crew
00:54:52and coldly murdering them
00:54:54one by one.
00:54:55Cypher's desperation
00:54:56to escape highlights
00:54:57his biggest flaw,
00:54:58choosing fantasy
00:54:59over freedom.
00:55:00God,
00:55:01I wish I could be there.
00:55:03And they break you.
00:55:05I wish I could walk in
00:55:07just when it happens.
00:55:09If that means
00:55:09cutting a deal
00:55:10with the equally
00:55:11loathsome Agent Smith,
00:55:12then so be it.
00:55:13His moment of betrayal
00:55:14peels back his true self
00:55:16as a morally bankrupt man
00:55:17who only cares
00:55:18about self-preservation.
00:55:19Fortunately,
00:55:21his sinister plans
00:55:22get zapped
00:55:22before they see
00:55:23the light of day.
00:55:24Better not,
00:55:25you piece of s***,
00:55:26you're still gonna burn.
00:55:3114.
00:55:32Mrs. Carmody,
00:55:33The Mist
00:55:34The last thing
00:55:54anyone needs
00:55:55in a panic situation
00:55:56is a paranoid lunatic.
00:55:57While the threat
00:55:58of the mist
00:55:58is terrifying in itself,
00:56:00Mrs. Carmody
00:56:01turns things up
00:56:01to 11.
00:56:03A fanatic
00:56:03convinced beyond reason,
00:56:05she fractures
00:56:05the survivors
00:56:06to turn them
00:56:07against each other.
00:56:07They,
00:56:08people who refuse
00:56:10to bend
00:56:10to the will of God
00:56:12and claim it,
00:56:14privilege,
00:56:15sinners,
00:56:17and pride,
00:56:19yes,
00:56:19haughty,
00:56:21privileged.
00:56:22They mock us,
00:56:23they mock our,
00:56:24our God,
00:56:25our faith,
00:56:26our values,
00:56:27our very lifestyle.
00:56:30By the time
00:56:30things escalate
00:56:31beyond control,
00:56:32we're left wondering
00:56:33who the real threat is,
00:56:34the monsters
00:56:35or Mrs. Carmody herself.
00:56:37She slowly morphs
00:56:38from a zealous fanatic
00:56:39into the very imprint
00:56:40of the devil,
00:56:41especially when deciding
00:56:42to sacrifice members
00:56:43of the group,
00:56:44including Billy.
00:56:45With Lovecraftian creatures
00:56:47on the prowl,
00:56:48things were always bad
00:56:49for the group,
00:56:50but under Mrs. Carmody's
00:56:51corruptive presence,
00:56:52their fear becomes
00:56:53a nightmare come to life.
00:56:54Come on!
00:57:08The Back to the Future franchise
00:57:10Fans may look back
00:57:21on this beloved franchise
00:57:22with rose-tinted glasses,
00:57:23but there's nothing
00:57:25lovable about
00:57:25its despicable villain.
00:57:27Incapable of any kindness,
00:57:29Biff's entire existence
00:57:30revolves around domination
00:57:31and taking whatever
00:57:32he wants.
00:57:33Making George
00:57:34his personal servant
00:57:35is just the tip
00:57:36of the iceberg.
00:57:36Stop of me!
00:57:37When are you gonna get it
00:57:38through your thick skull,
00:57:39Lorraine?
00:57:39You're my girl.
00:57:41Biff, Tannen,
00:57:42I wouldn't be your girl
00:57:43even if,
00:57:43even if you had
00:57:44a million dollars!
00:57:46Ah!
00:57:47His creepy fixation
00:57:48with Lorraine
00:57:49matches his willingness
00:57:49to kill,
00:57:50fully embracing
00:57:51his darkest desires.
00:57:52Biff has no problem
00:57:54ripping the fabric of time,
00:57:56not if it gets him
00:57:57a life of undeserved luxury.
00:57:58And while he loves
00:58:00throwing the word around,
00:58:01it's clear the only
00:58:02real butthead
00:58:03is Biff himself.
00:58:04So what's it to you,
00:58:06butthead?
00:58:08You know,
00:58:09you've been looking
00:58:09for a pocket.
00:58:12Number 12.
00:58:14Noah Cross,
00:58:15Chinatown.
00:58:15Mr. Gittes.
00:58:17Gittes.
00:58:17Gittes.
00:58:19You're dealing with
00:58:19a disturbed woman
00:58:20who just lost her husband.
00:58:22I don't want her
00:58:23taken advantage of.
00:58:25Sit down.
00:58:26What for?
00:58:26You may think
00:58:30you know
00:58:31what you're dealing with,
00:58:33but believe me,
00:58:34you don't.
00:58:35Though played
00:58:36masterfully
00:58:36by John Huston,
00:58:38everything about
00:58:39Noah Cross
00:58:39is appalling.
00:58:40From his
00:58:40pretentiously
00:58:41large cowboy hat
00:58:42to his obnoxious
00:58:43habit of mispronouncing
00:58:44Gittes' name,
00:58:45Cross earns
00:58:46all of our disdain.
00:58:48Incredibly,
00:58:49murder and deception
00:58:50are the least
00:58:50of his sins,
00:58:51as Cross's
00:58:52treatment of his daughter
00:58:53breaks even
00:58:54the darkest
00:58:54of moral lines.
00:58:55Considering the film's
00:58:56real-world parallels,
00:58:58his actions are reflected
00:58:59through a haunting lens.
00:59:01Worst of all,
00:59:01he escapes unpunished,
00:59:03walking away
00:59:04with his crimes.
00:59:05It may align
00:59:06with the film's
00:59:07theme of corruption,
00:59:08but that hasn't
00:59:08stopped fans
00:59:09from being mad about it
00:59:10even half a century
00:59:11after the film's release.
00:59:13See, Mr. Gittes,
00:59:14most people never
00:59:15have to face the fact
00:59:16that at the right time
00:59:18and the right place,
00:59:19they're capable
00:59:20of anything.
00:59:24Claude,
00:59:24take those glasses
00:59:26from me,
00:59:26will you?
00:59:28Number 11,
00:59:29Immortan Joe,
00:59:30Mad Max Fury Road.
00:59:32I am your Redeemer.
00:59:35It is by my hand
00:59:37you will rise
00:59:39from the ashes
00:59:40of this world.
00:59:42The post-apocalyptic
00:59:43world of Mad Max
00:59:45brings the worst
00:59:45out of people,
00:59:46and Immortan Joe
00:59:47shows just how far
00:59:48humanity has fallen.
00:59:50Controlling the water supply
00:59:51and worshipped as a god
00:59:52by his army of war boys,
00:59:54Joe rules the wasteland
00:59:55through sycophantic devotion.
00:59:57With a harem of women
00:59:58as breeding tools
00:59:59for the perfect heir,
01:00:01Joe is hell-bent
01:00:02on cementing
01:00:02his brutal legacy
01:00:03for generations to come.
01:00:05From his monstrous appearance
01:00:06to his merciless mentality,
01:00:08he's the walking image
01:00:09of the devil on Earth.
01:00:10In a world ravaged
01:00:12by war and famine,
01:00:13he stands as a grim reminder
01:00:15that sometimes,
01:00:16mankind is its own
01:00:17worst enemy.
01:00:18Ripley, we have to talk.
01:00:37You've lost contact
01:00:38with the colony
01:00:39on LV-426.
01:00:40From the moment
01:00:48he shows up,
01:00:50Burke feels
01:00:50a little too friendly.
01:00:52But even the most
01:00:53skeptical viewers
01:00:54can't anticipate
01:00:54the depths
01:00:55this traitorous snake
01:00:56sinks to.
01:00:57A penny pusher
01:00:57more concerned
01:00:58about corporate gain
01:00:59than human lives,
01:01:00he's more than happy
01:01:01to toss Ripley
01:01:01and Newt to the wolves,
01:01:03or the xenomorphs
01:01:04in this case.
01:01:04Look, those two specimens
01:01:05are worth millions
01:01:06to the bioweapons division,
01:01:08right?
01:01:08Now, if you're smart,
01:01:09we can both come
01:01:11out of his heroes
01:01:12and we will be set up
01:01:13for life.
01:01:15An agenda-driven
01:01:16backstabber in disguise,
01:01:17he exploits our heroine's
01:01:18trust throughout the film,
01:01:20flipping our perception
01:01:21of Burke entirely
01:01:21when his true colors
01:01:23come to light.
01:01:23While the xenomorphs
01:01:25act on primal instinct,
01:01:26Burke proves that
01:01:27the sting of betrayal
01:01:28leaves a far deeper wound.
01:01:29A little hope
01:01:44is effective.
01:01:45A lot of hope
01:01:46is dangerous.
01:01:47The spark is fine
01:01:48as long as it's contained.
01:01:53So?
01:01:55So,
01:01:56contain it.
01:01:58Not all evil
01:02:00is drenched in blood.
01:02:01Some wear debonair suits
01:02:02and rose lapels
01:02:03to mask its stench.
01:02:05President Snow
01:02:05rules through fear
01:02:06and oppression,
01:02:08deepening the divide
01:02:08between Panem's elite
01:02:09and its helpless underclass.
01:02:11Behind his polished charm
01:02:12and choreographed refinement
01:02:14is a predator
01:02:14in disguise.
01:02:15He has no qualms
01:02:40about pitting youngsters
01:02:41against each other
01:02:41into arenas of bloodshed,
01:02:43nor killing his own people
01:02:44to consolidate his position.
01:02:46Even when cornered
01:02:47and defeated,
01:02:48Snow remains convinced
01:02:49of his twisted philosophy.
01:02:51In his world,
01:02:52the ballad
01:02:52always ends the same.
01:02:54The snake wins
01:02:55and the songbird dies.
01:02:57Number 8
01:03:12Judge Claude Frollo
01:03:13The Hunchback of Notre Dame
01:03:15Just so he's kept locked away
01:03:17where no one else can see.
01:03:20The bell tower, perhaps.
01:03:22And who knows?
01:03:23Our lord works
01:03:23in mysterious ways.
01:03:25Among the long list
01:03:26of iconic Disney villains,
01:03:28Frollo stands out
01:03:29as the one
01:03:30who sends shivers
01:03:31down our spine.
01:03:32Lacking the endearing charm
01:03:33or playful edge
01:03:34of other antagonists,
01:03:35Frollo is the reason
01:03:36why the film ranks
01:03:37among Disney's
01:03:38darkest entries yet,
01:03:39radiating a disturbing energy
01:03:41from the moment
01:03:41he first shows up.
01:03:42From nearly throwing
01:03:56the infant Quasimodo
01:03:57down a well
01:03:58to condemning Esmeralda
01:03:59to a fiery fate,
01:04:01Frollo lives
01:04:01in unacknowledged sin.
01:04:03Too weak to resist
01:04:04his uncontrollable lust,
01:04:06he hides behind religion
01:04:07to justify his heinous actions.
01:04:10Hellfire!
01:04:11Dark fire!
01:04:14While some Disney villains
01:04:16end up as fan favorites,
01:04:17most look back on Frollo
01:04:18with nothing but hate
01:04:20and revulsion.
01:04:21I will not tolerate
01:04:23this assault
01:04:23on the House of God!
01:04:24Silence, you old fool!
01:04:27The Hunchback and I
01:04:27have unfinished business
01:04:29to attend to!
01:04:30Number 7.
01:04:31Denethor,
01:04:31The Lord of the Rings franchise.
01:04:33You think you are wise,
01:04:36Mithrandir.
01:04:38Yet for all your subtleties,
01:04:40you have not wisdom.
01:04:43Do you think the eyes
01:04:44of the White Tower
01:04:45are blind?
01:04:47I have seen more
01:04:49than you know.
01:04:51The Steward of Gondor
01:04:52is far less sympathetic
01:04:53in Peter Jackson's trilogy
01:04:54than in the source material.
01:04:56After all,
01:04:57who sits around feasting
01:04:58while their city burns?
01:04:59Depicted as a man
01:05:00consumed by pride
01:05:01and incapable
01:05:02of bearing responsibility,
01:05:03he callously abandons
01:05:05his people
01:05:05and his own son
01:05:06to die.
01:05:07Why do the fools fly?
01:05:11Better to die
01:05:13sooner than late.
01:05:15Denethor's cold
01:05:16detachment to the war
01:05:17amid his growing delusions
01:05:18only adds fuel
01:05:19to the fire,
01:05:20turning him
01:05:20into a major obstacle
01:05:22for the protagonists.
01:05:23While you might feel
01:05:24a slight twinge
01:05:25of pity,
01:05:26Denethor's descent
01:05:27into madness
01:05:28proves to be
01:05:28his downfall.
01:05:29By the end,
01:05:30his demise
01:05:31comes across
01:05:31less as a tragedy
01:05:32and more
01:05:33as a darkly comedic moment.
01:05:48Number 6.
01:05:49Percy Wetmore
01:05:50The Green Mile
01:05:51Percy?
01:05:55You want to think
01:05:56about what you were
01:05:57doing just now?
01:05:58I was trying
01:05:59to get the mouse.
01:06:00Are you blind?
01:06:02Sometimes the worst
01:06:03characters are bad
01:06:04simply because
01:06:05they're meant to be.
01:06:07At least,
01:06:07that's the only way
01:06:08to make sense
01:06:08of why Percy
01:06:09behaves the way he does.
01:06:11Unabashedly vicious,
01:06:12he antagonizes
01:06:13the inmates
01:06:14of Cold Mountain
01:06:14Penitentiary
01:06:15without rhyme
01:06:16or reason.
01:06:16Don't forget
01:06:17about Melfield.
01:06:20Hey.
01:06:23There's no such place.
01:06:26That's just a fairytale
01:06:27these guys told you
01:06:28to keep you quiet.
01:06:30Just thought
01:06:32you should know.
01:06:33The relentless
01:06:34torture and
01:06:35dehumanizing treatment
01:06:36he inflicts
01:06:36on those under him
01:06:37is agonizing to watch.
01:06:39While he seems
01:06:39little more than
01:06:40a dirty coward,
01:06:41letting Edward die
01:06:42in horrifying agony
01:06:43cements his position
01:06:44among cinema's
01:06:45most detested characters.
01:06:47Though his grim fate
01:06:48might feel like
01:06:49divine retribution,
01:06:50it cannot erase
01:06:51the trail of torment
01:06:52and trauma
01:06:53he left behind.
01:06:53number 5
01:07:07Emperor Commodus
01:07:08Gladiator
01:07:09but to the whole world
01:07:11to you
01:07:13would only love me.
01:07:25When someone murders
01:07:26their own father
01:07:27to steal the throne,
01:07:28you know the movie
01:07:29wants us to despise them.
01:07:31Thin-skinned
01:07:32and inherently pathetic,
01:07:33Commodus is a lost cause.
01:07:35Jealous of Maximus' bond
01:07:37with his father
01:07:37and the love of the people,
01:07:39he resorts to every
01:07:40dirty scheme
01:07:41he can think of.
01:07:42When that doesn't work,
01:07:43he stoops to stabbing
01:07:44his rival before their battle
01:07:45and somehow
01:07:46still manages to lose.
01:07:48From wild outbursts,
01:07:49incoherent ranting
01:07:50and delusions of grandeur,
01:07:52Commodus is completely
01:07:53insufferable.
01:07:54In the end,
01:07:55no matter how hard
01:07:56he tries to win
01:07:56the public's favor,
01:07:57he dies the same way
01:07:59he lived.
01:08:00A pathetic disgrace.
01:08:07Power can be
01:08:31a dangerous force.
01:08:33Just look at Nurse Ratched
01:08:34as one of its scariest examples.
01:08:35Ruling over the hospital
01:08:37with impunity,
01:08:38there's nothing
01:08:39this cold-hearted nurse
01:08:40won't do
01:08:40to stamp her authority.
01:08:41From verbal harassment
01:08:42to authorizing
01:08:43inhumane treatment
01:08:44against her patients,
01:08:45Ratched is completely merciless.
01:08:47In her world,
01:08:48maintaining dominance
01:08:49comes above all else,
01:08:51regardless of the cost.
01:08:53Um,
01:08:54um,
01:08:55well,
01:08:55you,
01:08:55you,
01:08:56you,
01:08:56don't,
01:08:57don't have to
01:08:58tell her,
01:09:00Miss Ratched.
01:09:02I don't have to tell her?
01:09:05Your mother and I
01:09:07are old friends,
01:09:07you know that.
01:09:09Masking her cruelty
01:09:10with thinly-veiled excuses,
01:09:12Ratched lords over
01:09:12the institution,
01:09:13destroying the sanity
01:09:14of its unfortunate residence.
01:09:16Tension brims
01:09:17in every scene
01:09:18she appears,
01:09:19making viewers dread
01:09:20the next trick
01:09:21she has up her sleeve.
01:09:22Her defeat offers
01:09:23some measure of justice,
01:09:24but the cost
01:09:25is all too high,
01:09:26closing the film out
01:09:27on a bittersweet note.
01:09:28Number 3
01:09:37Captain Vidal
01:09:38Pan's Labyrinth
01:09:40Whether mowing people down
01:09:51and trigger happy outbursts
01:09:53or smashing faces
01:09:53with a bottle,
01:09:54violence courses
01:09:55through Vidal's veins,
01:09:57calling him sadistic
01:09:58would be an understatement,
01:10:00Ophelia's stepfather
01:10:01only in name.
01:10:02There is no paternal bone
01:10:04in the antagonist's body,
01:10:05although love for his son
01:10:06might seem like
01:10:07a redeeming factor.
01:10:08It's more of an obsession
01:10:10with leaving behind
01:10:10his legacy.
01:10:11The film's dark take
01:10:26on Alice in Wonderland
01:10:27inspires a glorious wonder,
01:10:29but Vidal is the hook
01:10:30that drags viewers
01:10:31back down to the ugliness
01:10:32of reality.
01:10:33You know a character
01:10:34is truly hateable
01:10:35when even their own actor
01:10:36despises them.
01:10:37In his opinion of Vidal,
01:10:39actor Sergi Lopez
01:10:40claimed the villain operates
01:10:41without justification,
01:10:43calling him a, quote,
01:10:44psychopath who is impossible
01:10:45to defend.
01:10:46Number two, Calvin Candy,
01:10:58Django Unchained.
01:10:59I heard you've been telling
01:11:01everybody that mandingos
01:11:02ain't no damn good,
01:11:03ain't nothing nobody is selling
01:11:04is worth buying.
01:11:05I'm curious.
01:11:06What makes you such
01:11:07a mandingo expert?
01:11:11I'm curious what makes
01:11:12you so curious.
01:11:17What did you say, boy?
01:11:18Calm down, butch.
01:11:20Entitled, brutal,
01:11:22and unapologetically racist,
01:11:24Monsieur Calvin Candy
01:11:25represents the worst
01:11:26of the Old West.
01:11:27Surrounded by ego-stroking
01:11:29yes-men, Candy revels
01:11:31in his sense of superiority,
01:11:32failing to realize
01:11:33that his pretentiousness
01:11:34and hollow sense of culture
01:11:36are just desperate
01:11:36attempts at nobility.
01:11:37His smug arrogance
01:11:39constantly tests our patience,
01:11:40and in a story filled
01:11:42with vile and vicious characters,
01:11:44it's Candy's false charm
01:11:45that earns our greatest contempt.
01:11:48Hey!
01:11:49Don't lay your palms
01:11:50flat on that tabletop!
01:11:51If you lift those palms
01:11:53off that turtle-shell tabletop,
01:11:55Mr. Pooch is gonna let loose
01:11:56with both barrels that sawed off.
01:11:59There have been a lot of lies
01:12:00set around this dinner table
01:12:01here tonight,
01:12:02but that you can't believe!
01:12:04Even when he snatches
01:12:05the upper hand over our heroes,
01:12:07his pointless need for validation
01:12:08seals his fate.
01:12:09Honestly,
01:12:10his end came a little too quickly,
01:12:13but at least we get the satisfaction
01:12:14of watching his twisted Candyland
01:12:16go up in flames.
01:12:18You open it, son of a...

01:12:41Number 1.
01:12:43Dolores Umbridge,
01:12:44the Harry Potter franchise.
01:12:46You've been in this post...
01:12:48How long, exactly?
01:12:50As someone so irredeemably nasty,
01:12:53Umbridge makes Lord Voldemort
01:12:55seem like a stand-up guy
01:12:56in comparison.
01:12:57Behind the gumdrop-filled voice,
01:12:59sickly sweet demeanor,
01:13:00and that ever-present fake smile
01:13:02plastered on her face,
01:13:03she's like the substitute teacher
01:13:04from hell.
01:13:05Because you know,
01:13:07deep down,
01:13:09you deserve to be punished.
01:13:12Don't you, Mr. Potter?
01:13:18Go on.
01:13:19Dolling out painful punishment
01:13:22disguised as discipline,
01:13:24Umbridge sees herself
01:13:25as a role model
01:13:26for authority and virtue.
01:13:27For someone who constantly
01:13:29twists the truth,
01:13:30her supposed hatred for liars
01:13:31is a hilariously ironic
01:13:33display of hypocrisy.
01:13:34I can't do this.
01:13:37Actually, I can.
01:13:44Once handed real authority,
01:13:47Umbridge drops the sugary act
01:13:48to reveal the fiend underneath,
01:13:50sentencing innocent muggle-borns
01:13:51to Azkaban for her twisted agenda.
01:13:54Hogwarts may be
01:13:55every Potterhead's dream,
01:13:57but with Umbridge in charge,
01:13:58the cupboard under the Dursley stairs
01:14:00doesn't sound so bad after all.
01:14:02No, enough!
01:14:04I will have order!
01:14:08What?
01:14:15Which film character
01:14:17gets on your nerves?
01:14:18Let us know
01:14:19in the comments.
01:14:20It was a pleasure
01:14:21doing business with y'all.
01:14:23Now, gentlemen,
01:14:24if you care to join me
01:14:27in the parlor,
01:14:28we will be serving
01:14:30white cake.
