PM Anwar urges youth to embrace change and uphold Malaysian values

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on Malaysian youth to lead the charge in national reform by rejecting corruption, embracing good governance, and championing unity in diversity. 00:44Anwar's delegation includes Foreign Minister Datuk Sri Mohammad Hasan, Transport Minister

00:48Anthony Luk, Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Sri Mohammad Sabu, Defence

00:54Minister Datuk Sri Mohammad Khaled Nordin, Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku

00:59Datuk Sri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Law and

01:05Institutional Reform, Datuk Sri Azalina Othman Said.

01:10Mohammad Khaled revealed that Malaysia is exploring strategic defence cooperation with France with

01:16plans to acquire new assets, including literal combat ships and helicopters, within the next

01:22two years.

01:23Azalina welcomed the French Supreme Court's dismissal of legal challenges by individuals claiming

01:28to be heirs of the defunct Sulu Sultanate, effectively nullifying their US$15 billion claim against

01:36Malaysia.

01:37Meanwhile, Mohammad said modern ministers must now act like international bankers, actively pursuing

01:43bilateral partnerships instead of waiting for opportunities to arrive.
