A state-level kabaddi player died of rabies in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr after he ignored the vaccination for dog bite. While 22-year-old Brijesh Solanki died on June 28, a video of him experiencing a violent rabies attack before his death surfaced online on July 02. In the disturbing video, Brijesh is seen writhing and howling in pain as his family members try to control him. Brijesh was bitten by a puppy he was rescuing three months ago, but had not taken an anti-rabies vaccine. He complained of numbness on June 26 and succumbed to rabies on June 28. Brijesh was a gold medalist in state championships and an aspirant for the Pro Kabaddi League.
