A shocking espionage scandal has rocked Israel as a married couple from Ra’anana in their 30s have been arrested for allegedly spying for Iran. Their arrest came after a covert investigation by Shin Bet and Israeli police, who confiscated phones, computers, and electronic devices reportedly containing communications with an Iranian handler.
But the story doesn’t stop there — three more Israeli citizens, including an 18-year-old from Tiberias, were arrested in separate operations for allegedly collaborating with Iranian operatives. This follows a series of Iranian recruitment attempts and even a failed assassination plot targeting Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
